Thread and writer appreciation thread

I appreciate those who have written with me over the years. From Mephistophelily's masterfully written portrayal of Harley (which actually scared anyone away from attempting the role again for me) to Luna's wolfy Dawn.

Thank you all. I hope I can one day find such writers again.

Here's a thread worth dusting off. I've come back recently and spent some more time around here, which means I've peeked around for reading material.

Dancing Undercover: Looks to be a promising start. Never read anything by either writer before, but they seem to have an idea about how to weave together plots and characterization.

The Adventures of Pauline: I stumbled across katalynn in a thread she was doing with cgraven. I enjoyed her writing, though that particular thread included some bestiality (which didn't work for me), but i peek at some of her other threads. This one does a good job of escalating sexual tension.

Goblins: This story is sadistic and wicked. The theme should be somewhat obvious from the title. It puts the heroine into increasingly darker levels of depravity, which is always an excellent way to go.

so wonderful to see someone post to this thread again. thank you for the thread recommendations Noon!

I agree I have neglected this thread for far too long. Sorry guys.:(

I feel like visiting this thread once again.

Perhaps this isn't the place for it, since it's usually where we share our favorite threads and stories from the forums. But I've found an author on the main stories page who writes fantastically, and I think many here would enjoy her stories.

This series, "The Rebellious Slave," is awesomely composed. It has a very lengthy build-up, which is good because it establishes backstory, settings, and characters. Her characters are awesome. The heroine is strong, sympathetic, and realistic. She writes the villain to be realistic, sadistic, and even human without, in my opinion, softening him. Too often, as you get into a villain's back story, you make him appear more sympathetic to the point that he ceases to be the villain, but she avoids that pitfall.

It's a long story, so I'd encourage people interested in non-con enslavement tales to settle in and check it out if they're ever in need of quality reading material.

That's fine Noon. Though I'd like to keep this more about great SRPs than stories on the main board, but I got nothing against doing what you did other than that.

I have to recommend From Model to Fucktoy by AnnieD and STFornicate. It's only 14 posts long so far and nothing has really happened between the characters yet, but the story has me hooked and eagerly looking forward for more.

Great job, keep up the good work you two. :)

Thank you for the kind words Trucken. Rest assured that AnnieD and I have plenty of scenes cooked up and forthcoming to make it well worth the read!

Just realized that the only other thread I've recommended here was Shy Housemates, which you had a part in as well. Clearly I like your writing. :)

Oh, and that gif. Goddamn it's hot. :D

Since I've become determined to make this thread more active I'll recommend another thread I've been enjoying, Housesitting for the neighbor by MidnightWalk and EroticLily. I've only gotten to page 4 because of, um, reasons, but I think it's hot as hell so far. Looking forward to reading more of it.

AnnieD is starting to become one of my favorite writers, her work on Dominating Veronica is another great thread she has a part in. I'm not taking anything away from her co-writer Bevatoria, his posts are certainly pulling their weight and adding to the story. :)

I've Got You On Speed Dial By Gr8chtr & SweetAsSuga

I'm not usually one for vanilla-esque threads but this one's title grabbed my eye so I just absently mindedly clicked it. Among the droll reading and one sentence posts that I usually find when I just click whatever on the SRP board, I was pleasantly surprised.

These two can not only write extremely well, they have flow and a wonderful plot following a phone sex worker and a guy's first time on the line. I am subscribed and keen to see what these two do with this!

I've started reading this per your recommendation and I'm liking what I'm reading so far. Both seem very in tune with their characters

"We Do What We Do" by DM2015 and CarnivalBarker. It's a post-apocalyptic thread (without zombies) and features several characters, and, well... it's great! I'm completely hooked on it, checking for updates daily. Keep up the good work you two!

So, I've been reading The Downfall of a Reporter and Dalton Academy Escorts, both threads by CarnivalBarker and Evolutions. And, honestly, I'm kinda asking myself why I'm reading those even though I know why; they're that damn good. Their writing is excellent and the story in both threads is great, but reading them is like getting an emotional curbstomp. Even though the sex is hot you can't help but feel sorry for the characters, many of them getting thoroughly abused. You can really feel their pain and desperation, and while I enjoy reading the posts they make I'm usually left feeling emotionally drained, hoping for the characters to find a way out of it.

It's some of the greatest writing I've seen on this site. I wholeheartedly recommend them, but they will kick you in the teeth.

Oh my word, I only just discovered this thread, and was thoroughly surprised to find my name here! Thank you, thank you, Grdy--I  you right back for certain! You make my day over and over again.

Thanks, T! I am very proud of those two stories, particularly Downfall. I like the challenge of having a good story to tell in my threads and it means a lot that the words, language, and stories make you have a reaction. All credit as well to my excellent co-author Evolutions. He is dedicated, loyal to the characters, always working to do better and better, and I must say very worthy. His great work on Downfall is the reason Dalton exists, and is now being written.

As for any hopes for happy endings.......we have a lot to write still, but ends will all ultimately tied up - some good, some not so good.......all I can say is stay tuned.

Bump for justspitballing and others.....

You found it lol.:)

Just thought I’d re-post a Veroe’s rules.

This thread is for those of us who read others' threads and enjoy them or the writing of other RPers, and wish to give a little shout out.

The rules are quite simple write up the title of the thread, the writers in it, and if the feeling moves you do a bit of gushing on how fantastic their writing or their thread is. Maybe provide a link to the thread too.

I'll give one as an example.

The Darkest Side of our Desires by LucianDevine and Ladythunder

These are two of my favorite writers on this forum. And since they've started this thread I've read and enjoyed it immensely.

Like I said it can be minimal or over the top whatever the mood moves you to.
