It was February 1629 and Salem Massachusetts the place "Witch"was born. Every witch that they found they tortured and ended up killing one way or another. The regular people, humans however you want to call them prefer to watch them burn. But they threw stones at them or tried to drown them. It took men two months to figure out how to kill a witch properly, to make sure the witch doesn't come back and possess somebody because if you are possessed you are screwed. There was a time where everybody was terrified all ages of people were dying from something as simple as the common cold but this was 328 years ago and there was no help except for healers and being a healer marked you for death one way or another. People that were healers no matter how kind and how selfless they were one way or another? they would be labeled a witch and they would end up burning at the stake.
All people saw healers as witches it did not matter if you were young or old, but most women who where labeled a witch were young, anywhere from late teens to early twenties. However there was one hanging that turned people off to doing it, unfortunately it took two hundred years but the last witch to be burned? was Chloe's great great grandmother. Her name was Ellie Doe and she actually exposed a blood witch, because to her using your own blood to gain more power? that is truly demonic and its something no witch was supposed to do, unless you were the bride of the devil. Ellie ended up catching her because they were actually old enemies, she knew that if she exposed the woman she to would be exposed but to her, a sacrifice of one life? was much better then the hundreds she would end up hurting. When they were both on pikes getting ready to say their last words, the one women who got the name Black Mary for what she was doing, cursed the town and said that every woman that lived there would never have children that lived outside of the womb.
But Ellie? there was a reason she was the last witch that was burned at the stake because she countered the curse and said everyone would stay healthy, that their children's children would be alive and well. And she prayed that one day they would see not all witches were bad, and that she hoped one day they maybe welcome and not feared so much. And the witches in the Doe family were respected to some extent but unfortunately there were still witches out there that would do harm, but their was a vow that every Doe made. That if times were tough they would never use blood magic, just the magics they were born with.
And so begins Chloe Doe's journey...
----------Present - June 20th 2020--------
Salem Massachusetts was a very nice place to be if you knew the right people and had the right job, her family were all witches as far as Chloe knew. And some people knew about it but would never rat her out, because she was a simple kind of witch. Her main power was healing she could heal everything and could bring the dead back in certain cases. But with every spell she used no matter if it was good or bad, it took a piece out of her, a piece of her life was used in trade to help those meant to be dead. It was something she didn't do a lot of because it was just to much on her, it hurt her and ended up ending with her coughing up blood. No one in the area she lived knew who she was or what she was, and its how she wanted it honestly. She did some potion work to help women wanting to have children, or a potion to change violent personalities, she did what the police could not do or if the person was really lacking something to be happy.
But while she did the side potion job she was a singer and song writer, she had music in a few different popular main stream movies. She had the unusual beauty and ability to be anything she wanted or did anything she wanted. She could even be a model because of her beautiful eyes. She had one green eye and one blue eye, which came to her being a witch. She was from a very strong family line of pure blooded witches, pure blood witches were always much more powerful then others. Not as powerful as a blood witch but still she would be formidable to anyone who dare come for her. What no one knew however is there was a reason why Chloe was doing what she was doing. When she was young about the age of ten a demon/witch hunter got on their trail and in the end after hiding for several years the hunter ended up killing her mother. He let her live because her magic was still dormant, it actually saved her life.
Otherwise she would have been killed along side her mother, she was hidden because she was drinking a potion her mother made her drink every day. But drinking it every day for six years the potion started to not work. Her power grew within her so much that the only way she could stay cloaked was to do only potions and no witchcraft. She did it when necessary because one type of person she would help every time? are children or a child's parent if that parent was all they had. She was a huge softy and wished she could be stronger then she is, but she is the kind of person who can see the good in everyone, no matter how much light the person has inside themselves. Because even in the darkest soul has a white light to follow into death. A lot happened within those 300 years and yet the town never seemed to show any changes what so ever, but there was a reason for everything, no matter the situation.
Chloe lived by a very handsome looking guy and she couldn't help stare at him when he wasn't looking. His long hair was beautiful and when she saw him with no shirt on once? she thought she would have a heart attack seeing such a handsome looking guy. She never noticed anyone come over, not even parents and always wanted to know why that was. They had struck up a friendship but not a very close one, though she wanted to make it a close friendship. She wasn't looking for romance but a very close friend? everyone could use one of those. In times like these the world seemed to be going insane, and knowing this and seeing this? It was hard, but she could actually feel it as well. It took Chloe a good year to find out what his name was, and she had to admit his name was really nice sounding to her, Drake Cross a name you don't see much of if at all. He was nice not the most friendly of people but she did like talking to him.
He has no clue she is a witch and she has no idea he was a demon, but what he did know? was she was a song writer and singer, though she just sang to make music she didn't get paid for being a singer because she rather make music instead of singing it. On this day it was a day like any other, she had been composing music and asked Drake if he would be willing to hear it so he could give her his opinions since in all honesty she appreciated them. No matter how much of an ass he made himself out to be. When the day arrived he was due to come over she began to practice. She was never great performing in front of people, and this was the first time she was doing this with him. Her shield is up when he is around, she had been hurt in the past and it was hard to trust anyone ever since her mother died. Since it was her father who shot and killed her mother then turned the gun on himself.
When it came to music she was able to escape reality even for a short time it is wonderful, it was always amazing how she could do this for hours and not even realize it, and she was about to do it again. She had been fooling around with a melody which she had finished, she just wanted to put lyrics to it. She was a musical savant and could make music no matter where she was, she was always thinking and creating. She got up and went to her piano that had all her music tracks on it and she pushed play and was stretching for a few seconds to get ready as she was moving to the beat of the music. She had on a black mini skirt and a pair of a pair of boots with a thick heel it was army style. And she had a black tank top on as it was nice and warm outside. But right behind her was the living room and in the living room? the front door. She had no idea that he was behind her and would be through the whole song.

When she was repeating the chorus part she had such control of her breathing, and what was special about that? She had never gone to any kind of music class. It was why she was called a savant. As she sang with it since it was recording her, she made up lyrics right on the spot. It was a song she planned on dedicating to him since he was a person who had a lot of dark in him but had an equal amount of light within him. But as the music ended she turned around and gasped when he startled her now realizing he was behind her. But for how long? She didn't know and did not want to know but the question would escape her lips regardless. "Drake how long have you been standing there?" She asked very embarrassed and her face? Bright red.
