SHOCK REPORT! U.S. Government in Possession of several UFOs (Intact and Partially Intact)

Marjorie Taylor Greene questions if UFOs and aliens are really angels: 'Honestly, I've looked into it'

the oversight chair, comer, will hold a hearing wednesday on the unidentified phenomena

mtg sits on the oversight committee
she doesn't think they're aliens
"I'm a Christian," she explained, "and I believe the Bible. I think that, to me, honestly, I've looked into it, and I think we have to question if it's more of the spiritual. Angels or fallen angels."
i'm, reassured.. she's looked into it!

burchett 'swears there will be professionals' to answer questions

hmmn

i wonder what questions mtg will ask?

Anyone who judges the validity of a subject because Marjorie Taylor Greene has a stupid opinion on it can't be serious. MTG has lots of stupid opinions. Like her takes on J6 for example. Should we stop investigating J6 because MTG says crazy shit about it? Of course not.

yanno, sometimes it's so strange the takeaways people 'take' from another person's posts

Anna Paulina Luna tweeted about the material she has gathered for the House Oversight UFO hearing, consisting of pictures of several alleged sightings.

But a number of Twitter users questioned the credibility of one of the images that shows an object in the air shaped like Batman’s face, leading to speculation that officials have confused a party balloon for a UFO.
“The military ‘leaked’ a photo of a Batman party balloon and claimed it was a UFO. That seriously made me doubt their ability to analyze anything,” said one person.

Another said: “My father was a pilot for 20 years, they make mistakes all the time. I just showed you a picture of when a fighter pilot confused a Batman party balloon for a UFO that had no signs of propulsion.”

So some random Twitter user has an opinion on a picture they saw online? Do they any have expertise in photograph analysis? Military procedures for releasing classified documents and pictures? Has inside information about the validity of the picture? That would be a big no. This is the weakest form of journalism I've ever seen. It is so bereft of any factual information the website should be embarrassed to publish it. This is trash tier journalism at it's worst. Completely useless.

Also from the article:

But, one user who believes it is a UFO, said: “I think there is a massive difference between a hot air balloon and a Batman balloon you buy at Dollar Tree for $4.99 and I am pretty sure you know that! Pilots are not mistaking a Batman balloon as a UFO & the balloon ain’t making it to 25-30 thousand feet”

(Selective editing to present a false impression of what is in the article is also pretty weak)

for everyone interested in what the actual experts are saying:

listening to the actual expert, the director of the AARO Dr. Kirkpatrick this morning.
who is Dr Sean Kirkpatrick and why he is 'the guy'?
AARO DIRECTOR SEAN KIRKPATRICK: Thanks. Good afternoon. I'm Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick. I'm the director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office. As you know, AARO is a new office called for in the FY2022 NDAA and established just this past summer. We have an important and yet challenging mission to lead an interagency effort to document collect, analyze, and when possible, resolve reports of unidentified anomalous phenomena.
Let me start by thanking Under Secretary Moultrie for his leadership and support in establishing AARO. As he said, we take UAP reports seriously. Unidentified objects in the skies, sea and space pose potential threats to safety and security, particularly for operational personnel. AARO is leading a focused effort to better characterize, understand and attribute these objects and is employing the highest scientific and analytic standards.
Though AARO is only a few months old, I want to highlight some of the early accomplishments. Since AARO's establishment, we've transferred the data and responsibilities from the previous Navy-led UAP Task Force and disestablished it. During that transition, we've taken the opportunity to expand and standardize and integrate UAP reporting and reevaluate the data we've collected. Given the large and disparate nature of the data, and the need to apply rigorous methodology. AARO has developed an analytic framework that structures, formalizes and applies analytic best practices to the evaluation of that data.

On the tv interview aired this morning, he stated quite clearly that at least 98% of sightings were easily identified, and the few that remained were generally identified as more reports of similar anomalies come in giving further clues. Some of the identifications are still ongoing/unresolved. He said that did not mean they were extra-terrestrial in origin but he also said that it would be (paraphrased) some kind of hubris given the size of the known universe to not accept the possibilities of alien life existing.

he was asked if he'd seen any evidence of secreted UAP or alien stuff and he said no, he had not. When he was asked if there could possibly be any 'secret' places these things were hidden he replied that he didn't know how that could be since he had access to absolutely everything and was 100% free to go anywhere... nothing was off limits for him. Hence the "All-Domain" part of AARO.

he doesn't seem to have anything new to report since his report in April, during which he stated:
"I want to underscore today that only a very small percentage of UAP reports display signatures that could reasonably be described as 'anomalous,'" Kirkpatrick told the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities.

"The majority of unidentified objects reported to AARO demonstrate mundane characteristics of balloons, unmanned aerial systems, clutter, natural phenomena, or other readily explainable sources.
One video, available on the Pentagon's website, shows an incident that occurred in the Middle East on 12 July 2022, where a ball-shaped object flew over what appears to be a military base and was captured on aerial footage by a MQ-9 drone. This object is still under investigation and remains unidentified.
The other video showed a view of an incident the Pentagon said occurred over South Asia on 15 January 2023. In this instance a MQ-9 drone captured infrared video showing another MQ-9, while another object flew through the field of view. In this case, after analysis and review of additional footage and information, the object was determined to be a commercial aircraft.

NASA team ready to publish their own report, begun in Oct '22 and concluded May '23
The agency’s independent study team includes 16 scientists and experts across various fields — astrobiology, data science, oceanography, genetics, policy and planetary science — as well as retired NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, a former fighter pilot, test pilot and retired US Navy captain. The team is led by astrophysicist David Spergel, president of the Simons Foundation in New York City.

During the hearing, Kelly reflected on his spaceflight and atmospheric flight experiences, and said both are “very, very conducive to optical illusions.”

What actual experts are saying (minus selective editing to create false impressions)...

The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), which is a specialized department in the Pentagon that investigates UAPs, is currently investigating about 800 cases, according to Director Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick. About 2% to 5% of the 800 cases that AARO is investigating are "truly anomalous," Kirkpatrick said.

Lawmakers claim UFO 'cover-ups' from Pentagon, military as witnesses head to Congress

Reps. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., and Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla, said their efforts to disclose records about UFOs, or what the government calls unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP), have been met with resistance from the Pentagon and intelligence community.
Burchett and Luna described tense moments as they tried to get information from the military about UFOs, and they said the Pentagon and Air Force tried to impede their push for records.

Lawmakers said they had "an argument" with a commanding officer at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida as they pushed for answers about UFOs.

Reps. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., and Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla, said their efforts to disclose records about UFOs, or what the government calls unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP), have been met with resistance from the Pentagon and intelligence community.

"The Pentagon and Washington bureaucrats have kept this information hidden for decades, and we’re finally going to shed some light on it," Burchett said. "We’re bringing in credible witnesses who can provide public testimony because the American people deserve the truth. We’re done with the cover-ups."

"They refused to answer questions posed by whistleblowers, avoiding the concerns of Americans and acknowledging that the possible threat UAPs poses to our national security as well as public safety is extremely unnecessary."

verbatim (at the 14.04 mark), from Dr. Kirkpatrick's testimony to the SACS in April, which begins at the 4.30 minutes mark in the link i provided

"I want to underscore today that only a very small percentage of UAP reports display signatures that could reasonably be described as anomalous. The majority of unidentified objects reported to Arrow demonstrate mundane characteristics of balloons, unmanned aerial systems, clutter, natural phenomena, other readily explainable sources. While a large number of cases in our holdings remain technically unresolved this is primarily due to a lack of data associated with those cases. Without sufficient data we are unable to reach defendable conclusions that meet the high scientific standards we set for resolution and I will not close a case that I cannot defend the conclusions of.

"I recognize that this answer is unsatisfying to those who, in good faith, assume that what they see with their eyes, with their cameras and what their radars (missing word or it should read 'with their radars') is incontrovertible evidence of extraordinary characteristics and performance yet time and time again with sufficient scientific quality data it is fact that UAP often but not always resolve into readily explainable sources.

"Humans are subject to deception and illusions, sensors to unexpected responses and malfunctions and in some cases intentional interference. Getting to the handful of cases that pass this level of scrutiny is the mission of the era. That is not to say UAPs once resolved are past no longer of National security interest..."

he goes on to say that once identified, the problem can be handed off to the other administrations who deal with who is operating what where etc..., before addressing the Chinese balloons that recently were discovered crossing the USA.

i'm really torn, yanno? i ask myself "who do i believe? taylor-greene with her biblical angels (fallen or otherwise), burchett with his breathless 'aliens are here, we have their space ships!!!', or the head of the scientific/data-resolving, anomaly-identifying agency set up to examine...with depth, knowledge and with access to multiple other agencies' reportings...all UAP reports available" damn, it's just. so. hard.

Next you’ll say you don’t believe Jews made space lasers.

People who blindly believe what any faceless government bureaucrat tells them in the face of multiple expert and eyewitness testimony from whistle blowers claiming the opposite is at best naive and at worst gullible. From Watergate to WMD's history has proven that what government officials say cannot always be trusted.

The UFO phenomenon is no exception. If you knew your history you'd know we've been down this road before. The last "the head of the scientific/data-resolving, anomaly-identifying agency set up to examine...with depth, knowledge and with access to multiple other agencies' reportings" put out a sham report designed to mislead the public. If they've done it before they can do it again.

Condon UFO Report (The Scientific Study of UFOs), 1969

In 1966, the U.S. Air Force commissioned what it intended to be the definitive study on the UFO phenomenon. The report, which concluded that there was no scientific value to UFO research, provided the Air Force with the justification to halt more than two decades of public investigative work, and solidified the current intellectual culture of UFO debunking. But a critical review of the report’s history shows that its scientific objectivity was compromised from the very beginning, and exposes the rigorous controversy behind Condon’s façade of scholarly consensus.

While some of the team members took an active part in the research, Condon and Low showed little interest. Six months into the study, Condon announced that he thought UFO research was “nonsense,” and that the government shouldn’t be involved. He referred to those “damn UFOs” almost from the beginning. In discussing project strategy, Low wrote to university administrators that the “trick” would be to make the public think that the project was objective, while allowing scientists to recognize it as “a group of nonbelievers” with an “almost zero expectation of finding a saucer.” With this tip, he thought that the scientific community “would quickly get the message.”

Although support for the study was high when it was first announced, people grew skeptical of the team’s objectivity, particularly after Ufologist Donald Keyhoe leaked Low’s memo to the press. Low resigned in the ensuing controversy, staff members David Saunders and Norman Levine were fired, and NICAP, a major private UFO research group, withdrew their support. What remained of Condon’s team hired a number of outside specialists to help complete the report in 1969.

What still hasn't been explained is how those aliens are so sophisticated that they have worked out how to travel at many times the speed of light yet are so dumb that they crash into California (so slowly that their craft is still intact).

They never crash into Germany or Britain or Egypt. It's always California.

lol. shit happens, right?

and Dr Kirkpatrick is now a faceless bureaucrat. who knew? i guess just because bluesdriver is determined to be 'blown away' by AMAZING revelations he's got to take such a silly stance. oh well :D

Dr. K is awesome!

So many uninformed opinions in this thread.

UFO Sightings – Which Country Has The Most?

  • Coming in at fifth place is Spain, which has seen a total of 3,650 sightings since 1947. The Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands are the regions with the most UFO sightings in Spain.
  • In fourth place is France, with 5,068 sightings reported since 1954. In 2017 alone, France had 455 reported sightings, which is higher than any other year on record.
  • In third place is China, with over 8,000 sightings reported since the 1980s. Beijing and Shanghai are the cities with the most reported sightings.
  • The second highest number of sightings is recorded in Canada where over 15,000 sightings have been reported since 1989. In 2020 alone, Canada recorded 1,243 sightings of UFO.
  • Finally, the country with the highest number of reported sightings is the United States of America. According to the National UFO Reporting Center, there have been over 105,000 reported sightings and encounters of UFOs in the United States since 1947. With the highest number of sightings, the USA is the most popular country for people interested in ufology.

Expert eyewitness testimony will always be more compelling and carry more weight than some bureaucrat in his office reading off reports. The "Don't believe your lying eyes" approach to debunking highly trained, war hero, jet fighter pilots eyewitness testimony won't get far with the general public. Especially coming from some pencil pushing bureaucrat who's never been in the cockpit of a fighter jet.

It wouldn't be the first time some "expert" with an impeccable resume has been fed false or misleading information. Or had vital information with held in order to have them mislead the public. The best disinformation agents come across as sincere because they are.

LOL! None of those other places report crashes.

Um, sightings is not quite the same as crashings.
Officially there are zero confirmed crashes and/or retrievals. I could cite several reports of crashes and landings all over the world but it would be pointless because they are completely unconfirmed.

I used to have a house in the Canaries, where there are clear dark nights that you don't get normally. Shooting stars and satellites are seen there regularly, every day you can hear tourists talking about weird lights but they were commonplace really. By the end of their vacations even the tourists were used to it.

A former intelligence official turned whistleblower has given Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General extensive classified information about deeply covert programs that he says possess retrieved intact and partially intact craft of non-human origin.
I'm sorry. What?
