Fucking Republican Ghouls

Don't tell me you expected moral decency from the 'family values' party!
Just think if he becomes reliant on life support, their whole Terry Schiavo production will go flying out the window. They'd probably try to pass a law disallowing life support unless the person previously put it in writing that they wanted it. It would be necessary to help cut down medicare expenses.
Hole in one.

On "The View" Rosie put forth the notion that the Republicans poisoned Johnson...

And you shout "Republican Ghouls?"

;) ;)

Yeah, and yesterday she apologized but said she'd probably do it again because its "funny". At least Gibson and Richards have said it was wrong to use the terms they used and that they wouldn't do it again.
well, in all fairness, they were wrong because they aren't oppressed like gay comics

Thats one thing that I have learned... You can't be a racist/bigot or even culturally insensitive if you are a minority. Its like some advanced shielding device I guess.

Ok ok... those minorities who use that as a victim platform are immune to it?

Makes perfect sense to me. But no, we haven't quite figured out that that is the best way.

It happened in NJ last year, when Corzine won the gubernatorial election. He got to appoint his replacement. It wasn't as big an issue, of course because it wasn't a pivotal seat, and he, of course, chose someone from his own party anyway.

Personally, I dislike any form of appointment to what is supposed to be an elected position. It removes the choice from the hands of the public.

The Senate was never designed for its members to be elected. I think it was the 19th amendment that took the choice from the State and gave it to the mob, just like the House which IS supposed to be the mob's choice.

You should read Bernie Goldberg's books...

Oh, lookie, 1 of 7 and 5 of 7 checking in...

A study of press bias by a professor of political science at the University of California-Los Angeles, Tim Groseclose, listed the Drudge Report as one of the most liberal sites on the Web . . .

Wha . . .? Is there another Drudge Report I don't know about?

Yeah. 17th, I think. State legislatures used to do so. I'm not sure when it was ratified . . . and I'm too lazy to google. Still, I prefer it as it is.

It's because he only links and the Times drives the news, especially TV.

(Bernie described a couple of events in his book, like the California TV reporter who called NYC to put him on with the earthquake which was hitting at the moment. The producer checked the AP/UPI/Reuters wires and saw no earthquake story and refused to believe his reporter.)

This is why this writer claims he's biased liberally. His links are usually from Liberal sources. But most of the press is liberal, so...

Yep, and what we should return to to weaken the parties.
