Defunct site with interactive stories- bring them here?

Years ago there was a site that contained a small number of interactive bondage stories, very similar to Chyoo2. I contributed a couple of threads there and quickly forgot about it- some time later I wanted to find it again and it was gone, but in my searching I discovered Chyoo.

Well, tonight I got curious and nostalgic, and I found it again on the web archives:

I quite like some of those stories and I'd like to know if it would be feasible to transfer them to Chyoo. Would there be legal issues in doing that? What I would do is have the opening thread a description of what this story is and how it came to be here, with a link to the web archive of the original site. Each actual story thread would credit the original author.

I would attempt to contact the authors telling them your intent to transfer the stories to Chyoo. If you get no response, I don't see the harm in transferring them if you credit the author (however you would need to remove them later if they ask you to).

There's always the possibility that even though you want to preserve the stories, some writers may want some of their work to fade into obscurity.
