New kitten? He's a handsome boy.

Nope. I remember him being a kitten though - almost 12 years ago. In human years he's 63 now. This is the sick kitty I've been worrying about, he's always been slim but now lost 25% of his weight and is seriously underweight (but long, almost as long as my other cat which weighs more than twice the amount). It's questionable if he'll see midsummer, he's in hospice care actually.

Depends on the age. A 2 years old cat equals 24 years old human. For an adult cat it's 4-5 human years per 1 cat year - I've usually seen it counted with 4.
