I respectfully disagree. Ai has concluded that humans have six fingers on each hand, which makes holding such a weapon problematic insofar as drawing, aiming and firing.Here’s a situation (given enough time) where AI could be of great benefit.
If an image of a particular weapon (BB gun or not) could be obtained during a confrontation, AI could quickly determine the capabilities of the weapon in an individual’s possession and return that information to the first responders.
Of course, being shot by a modern BB or pellet gun is no minor thing either, so an individual brandishing one with ill intent would still have to be dealt with quite assertively.
If it was determined to be an air-soft gun, then that would obviously change the calculus.
