Joey had arrived just as the service for the wedding had began. It was a former teammates from college 2nd wedding. When he received the invitation he decided it would be a good trip out of the city for a few days. Now he finds himself in a lodge in the middle of nowhere sitting in the back row of the small wedding venue. Scanning the room he doesn’t see many faces he recognizes and begins wondering if this was a good choice. Actually he had to double check to make sure the groom was in fact in his friend.
The service soon ends and everyone makes their way to the banquet room for the reception. Floating around looking for a seat he notices an empty seat by a stunning lady who seems to be alone. Walking over to the table clearing his throat he softly asks in his southern accent. “Excuse me ma’am. Is this seat taken?” He asks as she turns to see the broad shoulders of his 6’3” 225lbs frame. Wearing a tailored suit and tie and grin that can light up the room. Pointing to the empty seat next to the pretty lady he motions and waits for her response.
