Well, the story idea was presented in kind of bad taste, but it isn't an inherently offensive concept. Mentally challenged people deserve to have sex, too, don't they? Especially if we can tell the tale respectfully.

I would hazard a guess the OP imagined this from the guy's perspective, mostly at least.

And the more the better, going all over the top. In that context, making the guy challenged is only a (misguided) attempt to play up how undeserved and randomly lucky from his point of view the whole episode seems to be. All it really needs is rephrasing:

What was it, about two years ago we were talking about this in AH? I had wrote an incest fic about a mentally challenged mom falling for her son, and he gave in. Submitted it and it got rejected. I'll probably put it on Lush under this account once I remember what it's called.
