"The Informant"

He listened as she told him what she felt. He didn’t know if he believed her. She said everything he wanted to hear, up until she said she couldn’t. Maybe this was a setup, but he couldn’t help but feel a pull to her

He found his head shaking as he was conflicted by what she said and what she did. But he had to check himself

She wasn’t what this was about, this was about his career and he needed to put his pride aside

“Yeah, I think I got this. I’ll just have to play it close to my chest. Seems like there are a lot of officers I can’t trust” he said as he stepped back from her, stepping away from the intoxicating aroma.

He strode back to his side of the table and took his seat, his face cast in the shadow of the light

“Yeah I’d call it a raid. But I think I’m good, you can go” he told her curtly.

He had 2 days to make sure everything was in place. He knew he couldn’t tell anyone, or make a real plan. Instead he had to set it up so the units he needed would be able to respond in time.

After pulling a few strings he made some schedule changes to swat and some of the nastier guys on the squad.

That night he, ‘heard’ a scream as he was driving along one of the warehouse neighborhoods that ran along the river.

His heart pounding, he saw the boat, he saw the cargo container and the thugs. He also saw the dirty cops.

He had done his research and learned what kind of firearms the associates used, and after snagging one of a few street thugs, which he hadn’t reported, he snuck in.

He peaked around the door, and leaned out over the outer staircase.

2 quick shots rang out as he dropped the dirty cops. Then ducking back into the building

“Shots fired at the Evan a warehouse off 4th street”

Minutes later it was over. The night had rung out with screams and panic as the remaining thugs had tried to determine where the shots had come from that dropped the paid hell, but Swat had billed in through a side alley, and with all the men dispersed in their search for him, it had been almost surgical the way the trimmed them down.

He was the only one who had been injured, that from a rusty piece of metal scratch him when he had almost been found while waiting on Swat. Luckily those nasty boys had come from the other way, looking for a fight, they had shot first and asked questions later.

That night he stumbled into his apartment late, a little tipsy, and very tired.

An hour before the raid, Capri arrived at a warehouse on 4th Avenue with Jerry, her most trusted Lieutenant. The man had scouted the location for her the day before. From the dark shadows, she watched as across the street and down a block, the night exploded with police activity.

"He's here," Jerry said at one point, gesturing toward a distant spot as he handed Capri the night glasses.

She looked through them, following his directions, and found Lance Morgan. She studied him until he disappeared, safe and sound if would seem. She handed the glasses back to Jerry, telling him, "I'm done here."

On the way, she made a call and verified some instructions she'd given earlier in the day. She looked to the front seat of the Towncar, telling Jerry, "Let's go home."

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As Lance was making himself comfortable in his home after pulling off what the Press would call the most spectacular sex trafficking bust of the decade, he looked up to find himself face to face with an ominous looking man with the extended index finger of one hand up to his lips to indicate silence while the index finger of the other hand was curled about the trigger of a Beretta 9mm pistol which was being held casually across the man's torso.

"We're all friends here," the man said softly. "No need to panic."

Then, from behind him, a beautiful young woman wearing one of Lance's own uniform undershirts stepped into view, a wide, pleased smile on her face. She laid a hand upon her escort's shoulder, telling him softly, "It's okay, Ronny. You can wait outside."

The gunman studied Lance a moment more, holstered his weapon, turned, and casually departed the apartment. With a slow, smooth movement, the woman pulled the lower hem of Lance's tee upwards and away from her body. Her firm, C-cup breasts rose with the tight fitting shirt's removal, then plopped back down under the power of gravity, bouncing a couple of times before settling before his view. She stood before him now in nothing more than a white thong and a smile.

"My name is Nicole," she told him as she moved closer. Reaching a hand out to begin working him out of his clothes, she told him with a sultry tone, "Capri couldn't be here, but she sends her regards."

If he didn't stop her, Nicole would undress Lance and give him the night of his life...

He knew it!! He thought angrily S his heart raced, his eyes locked on the gun and his mind racing through his training for what to do

Capri had betrayed him, but before he could move he saw someone move out from the shadows behind him

This was it, he was going to die! He turned his head slowly, ready to stare down his killer when a beautiful brunette turned to face him. She was wearing a shirt….his shirt. At first he thought it was Capri, she looked very similar.

She put her hand on his shoulder then looked at the thug, and dismissed him.

Lance watched him eyes locked, ready to react to anything.

The door shut then he was left alone with her. She stepped around him stopping a few feet in front of him. Then she explained that she was her in Capris place, a little thanks for him, then he watched as she peeled his shirt off of her body.

He watched hungrily as she lifted his shirt, revealing wide round hips, a slender waist with a flat toned tummy, then full round breasts came bouncing free as she peeled it up over her head. His eyes drank in the sight hungrily as they shifted from her round breasts, peaked with dark hard nipples, to her eyes. They weren’t hers. He wanted her

She stepped forward and began to tug at his shirt

“Thank you nichole, but send Capri a message will you? Tell her I won’t be put denied, dissuaded, or distracted” he said. Then turned and headed back to his room, leaving the prostitute behind

“Give her the shirt as a gift from me” he said over his shoulder, then closed the door. He fell onto his bed and after hours of his mind racing, he fell asleep

Nicole pulled her hands back as Lance began his rejection of her and listened to him in silence. After he left the room, she continued to stand there for a long moment, waiting to see if maybe he would suddenly come back to fuck her. Men didn't often pass up free pussy, particular one that was part of such a perfect package.

She was conflicted about how to feel. Capri had paid her for services to be rendered, and yet the client had gone to bed with his cock dry and his balls full. That was good for Nicole: free money for no energy expended. But it was also bad: what happened when Capri learned that Lance had rejected her? The assumption would be that Nicole had been the wrong Escort to send, and the new assumption would be that Nicole would not be sent again.

She considered keeping her mouth shut and reporting that Lance had had a good time with a happy ending. Instead, Nicole donned her clothes that had been neatly arranged on a chair in the little apartment's kitchen and left, heading directly for the building in which Lance had first met Capri. She'd texted Capri as she neared, and the latter met the former in the lobby.

"He wanted me to give you a message," Nicole said as she handed out the neatly folded tee. "He said, and I quote, 'I won’t be put denied, dissuaded, or distracted'. I didn't ask what that meant. It was none of my business."

Capri hadn't told the Escort who she was meeting or why, other than the fact that he was a cop and that her escort would pick the lock to his apartment to get her inside. And Nicole was used to both not knowing details and servicing cops, as the Association often arranged her to do so as part of either payment for serviced rendered by the cops or as a means of blackmailing the married ones into providing services later.

"What's this?" Capri asked about the tee shirt. Nicole explained, after which Capri pulled three $100 bills from within her bra to match the three the Escort had been paid already. "Thank you, Nicki. You enjoy your night. My guy will get you home safely."

The escort took a step closer, saying quietly so as to not give the building's lobby security guys something about which to talk and fantasize later, "I, um ... I didn't, um ... do anything."

She meant she didn't service Lance, obviously. She suggested, "Do you need me to do anything for you, Miss Caruso?"

Capri smiled at the thought of having the beautiful professional's head between her thighs. No, Capri had never cheated on Charlie with other men. But, with him watching as part of the encounter, she had been with other women. The first couple of times, she'd been too uncomfortable to enjoy it and had, of course, faked her climaxes to please Charlie.

But then there'd been an encounter with a woman Capri had chosen herself, an amateur, and that had been a night that had left her appreciating what one woman could do for another. Still, she told the Escort with a smile and a sincere tone, "Not tonight, Nicki. Another time maybe."

They went their separate ways, and as Capri rode skyward in the private elevator, she held the tee shirt to her face and breathed in the scent. It smelled of the Escort's perfume, of course, but Nicole had apparently selected one of the cop's previously worn, yet to be laundered shirts to change into, and it smelled of Lance as well.

Once back in the apartment, Capri went straight to her private bathroom, undressed, and masturbated while showering; beyond the open door of the stall, she could see the tee shirt whose owner she was fantasizing about.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Three days later, a beautiful woman stepped up to where Lance and his partner were having coffee in the outside seating area of -- yes, you got it -- a donut shop. She smiled to Lance but spoke to the partner, saying, "Hi, I'm so sorry to bother you, but ... I locked my keys in my car--"

She pointed toward the corner as she continued, "--and I thought maybe you could use one of those metal thing-a-ma-jigs I see bad guys use on television all the time to steal cars to open the door...? It would be so kind of you ... and I would be ever so appreciative."

The partner winked to Lance as he hopped right up, more than ready to help a maiden in distress. As he escorted her away, though, he asked, "You can show me a drivers license and proof of registration, so that I know I'm not stealing a car for you, right, Miss?"

The woman laughed, reached out to playfully slap the cop's arm, and teased, "You're just trying to get my phone number and address, you bad boy."

She peeked back to Lance one last time before slipping her hand into his partner's crooked elbow to introduce herself, "By the way, my name is Nicole."

From behind Lance, a familiar voice said, "They seem to be getting along better than you and she did."

Capri sat at the adjacent table, with her back to the partner and Escort. She sipped at her coffee as she stared him in the eyes, then reported, "The Association is having a shit fit over your bust at the pier. Their lawyers got some of the Lieutenants out on bail, thanks to the help of a friendly judge they have in their pocket. Rumor is, two of them have been disappeared already, and when I say rumor, I mean it happened. As you know, I sleep with a fairly credible source."

She looked away from Lance, realizing that that last comment had caused her to blush. When she thought her skin color had returned, she told Lance, "By the way, thanks for the gift. I would have worn it to bed, but I think Charlie ... Charles might have had a problem with the Metro Police Department logo on the chest."

He shook his head at her comment

“For someone who can’t stand to be with her man, you sure do bring up how much you fuck him” he said coldly. He was a little hurt to hear her talk so freely about her relations with that old dirt bag, and it was all the more painful from her rejection of him. There was also a little sting from seeing Nichole, she was very beautiful and here Capri was using her just like she loathed Krueger fir doing. He knew there was an age difference but that did not matter as much to him for some reason

“ I’m glad to hear that there is a heavy hand flying around on the back side. Any chance you could point me to bodies, might help me get at some of those other bastards with less direct entanglement” he told her as he nursed the cut on his ribs from that stupid railing.

“I’m glad to hear it worked though, but I think we need to think about his suppliers too. If we take Kruger out, he will just send the work elsewhere, the ‘ring’ they have is pervasive and atrocious. Things like that” he said as he nodded to nichole

“Are a little different. If you like sex, or you like giving guys a great time. But what I saw on the pier was just horrendous” he said flatly, only daring to glance over his shoulder once

“Don’t ever send someon to my house again either. You crossed a major line there” he told her in a gruff angry tone

I coulda killed him or her, or gotten killed myself, that was foolish. And we can’t meet in public
Like this. Coincidence or not, I’m starting to get tails from my on precinct” he told her as he took a drink. Then he slowly rose up

“I’ll let you tell me where to meet next when your ready. It I want the connections from yesterday’s pier. I can’t tolerate that at all. I could barely tolerate nichole” he said as he put on his hat, then strode away without looking back

"For someone who can’t stand to be with her man," Lance said coldly, "you sure do bring up how much you fuck him."

Capri looked away again, trying to casually hide her reaction. Being Charles's play thing was a tough subject for her, and she'd only brought it up with Lance because she wanted him to understand that it wasn't something she did by choice. But, she understood his feelings about what she'd said.

He talked about the executions of the Association Lieutenants, to which she said, "I can point you to the Cleaners maybe, in a couple of days. I'll have my man ask around. As far as where the bodies are buried..."

She doubted that was something she could learn without raising suspicions. She noticed Lance massaging his torso and asked, "Are you injured? Did it happen last night?"

Capri didn't tell Lance that she'd been watching the bust from afar and had noticed him at one point. It didn't seem pertinent. She hadn't seen him in action, though, so she couldn't have known whether he'd suffered an on the job injury or been beaten or or even shot.

“Don’t ever send someone to my house again either," he stressed. "You crossed a major line there.”

"I'm sorry about that," she said with a sincere tone. "I thought you deserved some thanks. I doubted you would take a thick envelope of cash, so..."

They talked again about needing privacy, with Capri agreeing. He pressed her for more names regarding the sex trafficking, and she told him, "I can get those. I have an in. I hinted to Charles that Paula Richards might serve well as the next Manager of the Association's Prostitution Division, now that its former leader is no longer breathing. I think he is leaning toward her. She's been an Association prostitute, Madam, and Supervisor for more than 30 years ... and more importantly, she supports me in my attempts to clean up that portion of the business."

Lance made his farewells, snagging his partner as he left. Nichole returned to sit with Capri, reporting, "I have a date with him Friday night. He talks a lot, which is always good."

The two women smiled to one another, and Capri agreed, "Pillow talk, it's always welcome."

She was eager to see what the Escort might be able to learn about Officer Lance Morgan from his well sated partner. Capri ripped two $100 bills from her purse, handed them to Nichole, and said, "Keep me up to date. And ... don't charge him. Text me. I'll pay you. I don't want him passing on a chance to meet you 'cause he can't afford you."

They went their separate ways, with Capri returning to Charles in an attempt to learn more about where the bodies were buried, literally and figuratively.
