Set during Viet Nam
Dorothy Kitt is a stunning and fit fifty something military widow. Her husband , LTG Arthur Kitt, was twenty years her senior and called Patton's Understudy in WW2. Now he is dead and she is living a very pleasant life in Southern Pines, NC. She is a highly rated senior lady amateur golfer, runs like a banshee every day, plays tennis three times a week, etc. Her one grief is her now only son Art Junior. He is a young major at Bragg, graduated well up in his West Point class and appears to have a bright future ahead of him. There is a problem. He has done two Viet Nam tours and has well hidden but serious PTSD. He is about to collapse. Dorothy has studied his case closely. She gets him to take a long weekend off and come visit her. She uses a tried and true Army method to get him to spill his guts. Sitting down over a bottle of good whiskey. Next night, Dorothey makes dinner and afterward helps her still a bit frazzled boy into bed. Next she dons a negligee that makes her look more naked than if she were nude. Goes back slips into bed with young Art and says 'I am going to give you some of what you need, right now. Just relax, this is going to be really sweet and take some time......
