Pro-abortion Catholic Nancy Pelosi declares GOP Senate healthcare bill dishonors God

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Tuesday that the Republican Senate health care bill “dishonors God.” But when Pelosi, an ardently pro-abortion Catholic, was asked just last week whether abortion dishonors God, she wouldn’t answer directly.

“I know that my colleagues are people of faith. They tell us that all the time,” Pelosi said while railing against Republicans.

“So this is God’s creation. We have a moral responsibility to it. To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship,” she said. “To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us. They are just ignoring those needs.”
