Mom and Son After Dad's Funeral

I think shy son and mom wouldn’t work for the funeral set up unless you want to make it one where dad was an emotionally abusive bastard and the two are celebrating being free of him.

I think one way to do this kind of hook up is have it so mom and dad kept up an active sex life and their active sex life was a big part of mom’s well being. Even at her most stressed and frazzled, she could come home and fuck her husband and then fall asleep curled up with him.

…but now he’s dead and she has to make it through the lowest point of her life without that comfort. Son can see how much she’s struggling (maybe he even hears her crying while failing to use a vibrator to get off).

So after the wake he drives them home and tells mom he knows what’s going on and offers to help her. Some back and forth and mom is willing to give it a try. They fuck most of the night away, at first to work off the tension, then because they like it, then to get to sleep, and they wake up curled around each other.

They make it through the burial though afterwards, son pulls off the road for a quickie to help them both out, and then they go to the post funeral meal. Mom and son fuck in the kitchen after everyone leaves and then fuck a few more times that night.

Mom eventually feels well enough that she can start taking care of her own needs or even starts dating again, but both mom and son have an open door policy when he’s home. They don’t start a taboo romance and son doesn’t try and take dad’s place. They’re still mom and son sex is now just a new way they comfort and enjoy each other.

Surely the wife/mother at this worst of times she would be struggling to cope be almost into shock and need the help support of everyone, the son would not be shy but step up

I find funerals and wakes oddly sexy.
I don't generally find Mom/son sexy, but when I do, it is a shy son and a Mom showing him how...
Do the two combine at all?
While I don't find funerals sexy, I think grief can be very erotic, since it's such a powerful emotion (and one that many of us don't feel regularly, so we have to sort of 'relearn' how to deal with it).

I wrote a story about a woman and her adult step-son forming a sexual connection due to shared grief when her husband/his father passed away unexpectedly, and I was quite pleased with the way it came out (I'm not claiming I'm a great writer by any stretch, but I enjoyed the emotional and erotic results of the story).

To me the biggest creative liberty I took as a writer involved the fact that the characters were traveling cross country by train for the funeral service, and they took hot showers in their sleeper car. I love traveling by train, and while I've had several 'warm-almost-hot' showers on trains, I've never had a truly hot one.

But this thread has challenged me...maybe I should attempt a true mother/son story that takes place on the day of the funeral.

That reminds me of one porn flick I've seen.

It started with dad's funeral when his daughter found his old journal. Through it and some butterfly effect shit, she traveled in time and hooked with a younger version of her stepmother the same time her parents made her in the next room. Then, when she got back to the present, she hooked with her stepmother again. The last scene was Riley Reid and Ashley Fires and was fricking amazing.

That's an interesting sentence... or four...

Yes, many a possibility in it. The obvious thing is to start with all of the mutual sympathising/consoling stuff and "go on" from there. Japanese Adult Videos tackle this head on, as usual.

Really i will have to watch them

An actual mom/son scenario is hard for me to imagine, for personal reasons. I'd never be able to write one without vomiting.

But I could imagine the stepson and the trophy wife. He consoles her and stays for a few days. She realizes that he is the spitting image of her late husband whom she loved, but with the energy and stamina of a younger man, and can't help but imagine what it might be like. Meanwhile, he's always been jealous of his dad who managed to bag such an ultra-babe. A slow mutual seduction ensues.

I have a story where a man (a priest, actually) has been widowed for many years. Then one day he realizes that his all-grown-up nymphomaniac daughter is the spitting image of his late wife. She realizes it, too, and uses it to seduce him.

I suppose it could be worked into a mother/son situation right after a funeral just as easily.

People tend to reflect upon their own mortality at times of passing and funerals, and so raw emotion can be stimulating; even sexually.

I don't have THE SLIGHTEST interest in incest, but was at my grandmother's funeral when my drop-dead gorgeous cousin came in with her husband wearing an appropriate, but short gray sweater dress that made me think of VERY bad thoughts.

In my own non-erotic novels, funeral scenes often pack a lot of punch because emotions are so raw, and people (even characters) are receptive to it. Some of my most powerful scenes have been during funerals. In the movies, a most memorable funeral was in Steel Magnolias where Sally Field slaps, mocks, laughs and cries all in the same scene of flowing emotion, in a clip that must be scene for all writers.

Myself, in your story idea, I might go with the wife doing the lunch stripping scene at a local strip club for extra cash and to relieve stress, and feel as if she "still has it" for her next chapter of life. Wouldn't you know it, but her son comes in during lunch break and sees his mom dancing nude...

Came up wi this on another thread, and it’s more of a Romance category:

Two couples (for now, let’s call them Lisa/Jeff, and Sophia/Matt) have been friends for years. About three years ago, a vehicle accident claimed the lives of both husbands, and Lisa’s son.

Sophia’s kids are there to help her get through these difficult times, but for Lisa, it’s not so easy. Sophia’s son, Adam, decides to start helping her out, since losing his dad has messed him up worse than he’s letting on. It’s just helping with jobs around the house at first, but eventually, a friendship brought by mutual loss starts to blossom.

One evening, Lisa asks Adam to stay with her for the night. They end up sleeping in the same bed (with emphasis on SLEEP), which, incredibly, seems to help.

This happens a few more times, and eventually, well…

My own preference would be for Dad/daughter at the mother's funeral... perhaps after a separation of several years following an unpleasant family break-up, the funeral drawing the two suddenly and unexpectedly closer. They find they're staying at the same hotel in town. They arrange to have a reconciliation dinner together later that evening at the hotel before daughter goes back next day to hubby and father to his second wife...

Why not make it sillier?

Mom and son (or dad and daughter) hook up for the first time even before funeral. So during the service tgey can't really keep hands off each other and some sneaky fun ensures. The culmination of this is fucking against the coffin game of thrones style.

That thought appeals to me. It would make a good short story which begins at the mother's funeral and sees father and daughter meeting up awkwardly at the wake/reception afterwards.

Finding out that they're staying at the same hotel makes them a little uneasy but they feel they have to see each other again - over dinner in the evening - to finally put the family argument to bed... and they find that's where they themselves end up! You'd still need a "coming together" reason or moment at that dinner.

The final scene would be a full-length description of the fucking, capped off with a sheepish "what now?" ending where they lie next to each other, embroiled in their thoughts about the future.

For funerals to work for me, it has to be a more distant family member death to both of them. Like a cousin.

I like son and aunt. I’ve stared at my aunt’s legs and feet during funerals.

You can probably get away with a lot sexually at funerals because the family isn’t in the mood for letting distractions be talked about, the focus is on the person who died.

For example, your sister is gonna have to tolerate her uncle’s hand on her ass when he puts his arm around her. She’ll even try to tell herself it was an accident but she knows deep down it wasn’t..

I wonder if maybe a flash back type of thing would work here to help ease into the collusion... in conjunction with @DarkSollat idea of sex against the coffin...

Insert any relationship here, but for example a mother and son are talking about funeral arrangements, and get into a huge fight about something silly, like who they have for a caterer for the funeral afterwards. She suggests one catering company, he counters with "once there was mold on a roll they made at Cousin's Anne's wedding" and this big fight takes place because of the raw emotion that often accompanies grief and loss. Yet they redirect, finally the mother saying, "how would he like this, us arguing about who we get for a caterer at a time like this?" To which the son says, "true, besides how bad could that catering company be; I have tasted something much worse than that", and smirks. The mother then says, "We are not supposed to talk about that night. It never happened remember?" "I know", the son says, "but it is all I have thought about for 3 years". Then the mother shocks him, "I know, Me too", as they start for a racy, intimate kiss against the coffin...

Just an idea...

@momloverson - Great to see such enthusiasm about a story idea, but as @sirhugs will likely soon inform you (being both the thread creator and forum moderator), sharing your email address publicly is against the website's rules. You have to contact people privately if you wish to give it out.

It's the double taboo in this which is the draw. Both incest and disregard for the occasion. I'd go for the father-daughter thing mentioned in post 14 but otherwise a lot of scenarios are possible.
