Incest

Incest in very UNcommon, despite the obviously untrue reports made here. Incest is even more rarely consensual. It's usually an abusive situation. I know. It's a pleasant fantasy for some, definitely not to be pursued in real life.

Actually it's the other way round. Incest is extremely common. In most communities some blood relationships are not considered incest. In other parts - marriages between first cousins, aunt/nephew, uncle/niece are actually the norm.

Even where Incest is taboo, one normally hears only of the relationships that ho horribly wrong. In Incestuous relationships that work the participants usually don't talk about it for fear of social stigma. But because it isn't out in the open, it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
