If you had the power to control an element what would it be and why?

I’m stuck between air and lightning

I meant the more mystical kind like in fantasy: earth air fire lightning water ice etc

I would be fire for I am passionate and nurturing. I bite those who deserve it and I shine with all of the colors that I could show. Depending on the fuel that motivates me I can burn for as long as I desire, but words can also quickly dampen my flame.

I know that I am fire, but sometimes I wish I could be water. Calm and soothing. With enough patience to create new roads in the earth and smooth the most stubborn of all people. But I am too impatient to control water. I would rather burn
