Meet the Piffles - OOC Player Recruitment

Hi, everyone.

Am planning to start a new thread, a soap opera about a "typical" suburban middle classed family - The Piffles. Like all soap operas anything can happen and hopefully will.

The core family will consist of a mother, a father (who have been married for 15 years) and at least two children (son and daughter). The children are over 18. Of course, there can be others - aunts, uncles, neighbours, etc...

So that anybody can "get it on" with anybody else, I'm doing a 'Brady Bunch' whereas all the kids are from previous marriages (e.g. the boy(s) are the father's, the girl(s) the mother's). So anyone can have sex with anybody else of the opposite sex without breaking any taboos.

Also, there can be "guest players" where a character joins, plays a few scenes and then leaves again.

BRAD

Brad was a late bloomer, so he was pretty inexperienced in the ways of the world and it was high time he started! He is a rail thin at 6'1" 180 pounds. Thank God the acne had cleared up. Smart in school because he was a good test taker, he was somewhat the underachiever waiting for the right motivation. His dad, George had always insisted he go to college and the money set aside for him to do so.

Brad was sure he shouldn't feel like his mother Gracie was hot, there ought to be something wrong with him. Well if there was it never stopped him from staring anyway. If 5 minutes passed without Brad thinking about sex, he was either asleep or eating. He liked to hang with his best friend Greg, play a little pickup basketball after school and rollerblade.

Just want to point out that George and Gracie have been married for the past 10 years. I hope you are okay with that.

George Piffle

Age: 45

Very conservative man who worries about everything. Because of that, he is not a great performer in the bedroom department much to the wife's distress.

He has been married to his wife, Gracie, for the last 15 years. Since his wife is very attractive, he worries that she is having affairs left, right and centre.

He is also having problems at work.

His hobbies: Worrying and stamp collecting. Though he does have a secret hobby nobody knows about.

Belle Long - the Neighbor

41 years old
Red hair, thanks to Clairol
Brown eyes
Tall, hour-glass shape


Married her childhood sweatheart, Howard. While Howard manages the local grocery store, Belle fills her days with daily trips to the mall and the gym.

Belle and Howard's sex life has improved since the kids left for college. They've managed to venture out of the bedroom and even discussed making love in the pool. Lately, Howard noticed that everytime they make love - the windows and drapes are open.

Uncle Paul Piffle...
George's elder brother..supposedly a sea captain, but no one is quite sure what Paul has done for the last 33 years..(Ran away from home at 15)...
He does appear on the Piffles doorstep about once a year, usually conveyed in a beat up VW van (vintage 1968) and wearing outrageous attire which causes the entire neighborhood much embarassement. He's a wildly generous man who will give anyone, especially the ladies the shirt off his back and more. The Piffle children adore him since he comes laden with gifts of an exotic and questionable nature.

Captain Paul is a large robust man of silvering hair and beard. Even now with the paunch of middle age he exudes an air of bon vivant self confidence that women are drawn to.

Howie Long=Neighbour

42 year old grocery store manager,in his youth school
football star who married captain of the cheerleaders.
Still a tank of a man but beginning to develop slight
paunch and his blonde crew cut is now tinged with grey.
Worries about his wifes increasingly adventurous
nature,but is totally besotted with her and would
jump through hoops to please her.

Dana

OOC: Who is my real parent? Da mom or da Dad? Hmm? Just curious!

IC: A short, perky person who is very independent and always ready for a laugh or debate. Dana is a scholarship student at the local college for music. Acting has been the love of her whole life and she hopes to get in the business thorough her voice. She loves her family and tries to spend some time with all of them but her life is very full between college and the band she performs in as the lead vocalist. Dana writes her own music & lyrics on the fully functional electronic keyboard that her parents bought for her sixteenth birthday.

The only thing that can tear Dana's attention away from the love of her life is Eric. Tall, dark and handsome. If there was anyone who fit Dana's dream man, it was Eric.

OOC: If I make it as Dana, could someone puleeaze become Eric? (drools) Heheh

Great response, people! I really appreciate your enthusiasm but we have plenty of room for more (we need an Eric for Vailyn's Dana for one thing).

I love all the character descriptions (and what a myriad of them too) and are hereby approved. Just join in when ready.

But remember, people. We are there to make people laugh as well as showing great sex scenes!

She's a hottie all right, but poor George is plagued with performance anxiety and as a result... No one in the Piffle master bedroom is getting any. (But not for lack of Gracie trying.)

I think I'm beginning to see a pattern here. POOR George, POOR Tim... Poor TIBVO!!

I'm really thrilled to see the response so far to this thread. I know you will all enjoy writing with Tib as much as I do. He really is NOT "right". (But I don't think he is VERY dangerous.)

Mya: Thanks for joining.

Just make up character. You could, for example, be the Longs' daughter. Their kids are supposed to be at college but she could be back for some reason.

But if you want to play someone older, then Gracie could have a sister that visits or maybe George's ex-wife, possibly back for something. There are so many parts you could play, I leave it completely up to you.

When you have sorted it out, just post your character's details to this thread and I will get you into the cast list.



Grunt!: Likewise, though I suggest you play a male part rather than a woman's (unless you prefer playing the opposite sex).

Fifi Damour

Thanks for letting me play Tivbo.

I shall play the ageless floozy, Fifi Damour, current paramour to Paulie Piffle. She likes to think she’s 29, will admit under duress to 39, and is probably older. But she hides her age well. She is the ultimate in dumb blonde and still a bombshell, and her fashion sense is pretty outlandish. She has a miniature poodle, Dolly, who is her baby. And the old adage about owner and dog looking alike, fits to a T.


To Vailyn: Sorry there, I didn't see your invite in time. Thank you though for the invite. But now that I've developed Fifi, I really have fallen in love with playing the role of the buxom blonde airhead.

Great character, Mya (though I had to read your post here before I could understand what was going on. ).

Fifi sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe she could still be friends with Dana (even if they are different types of people).

Poor old George. No wonder he worries with this nutty family he has got.

George Piffle

George's twin brother.
Age: 45
Description: same as brother George.

Born five minutes after his twin, the two of them look like peas in a pod. So much so, even Gracie wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

Being identical twins, their mother thought it was cute to call them both "George". But to him it was very clear that his brother was the favourite and over the years grew to, first resent him for it and then to hate him. It doesn't help that he also desires Gracie, brother George's wife.

He has been in prison for the past 15 years and has just been released.

Now, he is obsessed in getting his own back on his twin. To pay him back for all the pain he caused.
