why am i being completely ignored by the site?

Hello to all at the site and to all who visit...

I am writing this thru the bulletin board because amost an entire year of submissions (perhaps 5/6 stories) and e-mails have been completely ignored. Nothing I have sent since my first ten or so has been posted, and I have never received a reply to any of the multiple e-mails I have sent asking why my submissions are not being posted.

If I have reached some kind of 'quantiy limit'; if I'm sending in an inappropriate format; or if you just plain don't like my stories anymore (this seems unlikely due to the level of positive feedback i get and the votes my stories still get)...let me know!!

Has anyone else ever been 'frozen out' like this? If so, did you ever find out why? Is there some way someone from the site could please let me know why I am being ignored?

(by the way, I had to add the 't' to my email/screenname as when i re-opened the account, AOL told me someone else had the name...)

Please don't feel bad, Brodosist. Maybe they weren't received by the people you sent them too.

I am relatively new here so I haven't seen your stories. I will check them out later today and let you know how I feel after reading them.

Brodosis, you haven't used the new scripts? They get so overwhelmed with email everyday that it's really hard for them to pick things out of it. Ask your questions here and someone will know the answer, probably the webmasters themselves. If you've been submitting via the old way, to submit@literotica.com then it really isn't going where they'll see it.

On the Story Index page there is a login button. Brodosis has an account there. They never delete or change account information, so the Brodosis here from last year is still active in the system. Just input the old password that you used on the bulletin boards as Brodosis last year and you'll get right in to your author page. From there, it's pretty self-explanatory.

If the password doesn't work, then it's a webmaster problem. I would suggest you stick this same thread over on the Author Hangout board where it won't get buried and Laurel will see it and respond to it.

Thanks for the post. You wrote me a while back asking about the status of your stories. I responded asking if had submitted them via email or via the online scripts. I don't have any record of receiving an answer back from you, but as I posted on the BB a month or so ago (I'll dig up the thread later), I lost a good deal of my incoming mail in a Eudora snafu. I apologize for the miscommunication! I enjoy your stories, and definitely want to post them.

Like KM said, the fastest way to get a story on the site is to submit it through the new scripts. You can do this by logging in here:

Once submitted, it should take less than 72 hours for the story to appear onsite.

We all feel completely ignored by this place and its inhabitants sometimes, dearie. Just put it aside, start spending some time here, on the Borads (yes there are other Boards besides the GB) and all will be right in your world in no time.

'Course, you'll have no desire to write stories anymore as all your time and energy and creativity will be sucked into the ravening maws of the Boards, but who cares! It'll be fun and never again will *everyone* completely ignore you.
