The Lit Craft Show

I am sure there are lots of crafty people here so let's see what you've got! I love seeing what others create.

As for me, I am mostly a sewing junky with a very large fabric addiction.

Anyway, here is my latest creation for my little girl's birthday. This was a major pain in the bum to make and it is full of things I'd do differently for the next one, but I think she is still a cutie and my little person is in love with her!

Beautiful. Lucky little person

My wife is a crafts junkie too. I don't have a creative bone in my body, but I'll see if she'll let me post something of hers.

Lots of things, actually. She seems to spend the most time doing crochet. Baby blankets, scarves, mittens, that sort of thing. There's literally buckets of yarn around the house.

Thanks Fakie. She has lots of technical errors, but for a first job not too bad!

Crafts hmmmm, a little bit of everything.

Right now I'm making curtains for my bedroom. I'm always making toys for my birds. Nail art is a biggie too.

I love the fabric on your broomstick horse, very 60's op-art.

I do a variety of things but my two main passions are glass and fiber. These are two of my favorite beads, a necklace I made with my own beads and chainmaille, and a cap I knitted for my daughter with my own hand-spun, hand-dyed yarn.

Not my aesthetic, but I'm sure that would sell like shotgun shells here in Texas.

How awesome! I would have loved that as a child.

I was unfortunately born without a crafty gene in my body.

But I love looking at what others create. Thanks for sharing.

Ill admit I didn't paint it. My dad is an auto body painter so I told him how I wanted it and he made it so. He taught me how to wet sand and polish inbetween coats though. I just built and wired it up. Was a fun father son project. I'm doing one on my own now. Ill post a picture when its done

That's really nice you and your dad could create something together. I can't even imagine how you'd even go about making a guitar. I can't wait to see the next one!
