It's also unclear how many illegal immigrants would seek a path to citizenship. And of that number, no one knows how many will register to vote and then actually vote. Approximately 58% of voting eligible people voted in the previous pres election.


A recent pew poll found that 54% of current latino illegal immigrants identify as democrat.

After the 1986 path to citizenship, only about 40% became citizens.
