Femdom books? Literature, not How-To's...
Anyone have any femdom stories they can recommend for my wife?
We've become much more open & playful...
We tend to switch D/s roles; I'm the more adventurous / kinky between the two of us and also gravitate more to the submissive role but do enjoy mixing it up.
My wife enjoys to read stories on her Kindle; and as much as most here dislike the 50 Shades stories it did help open up some adventurous play between us.
She would prefer literature as opposed to how-to books.
I did get her a copy of "The Art of Female Sensual Dominance" - she read portions, but as mentioned she prefers story lines as opposed to a how-to clinic; looking for something she can enjoy and spark her imagination.
Seems all the books I see are submissive woman / dominant men stories. Looking for decent books that are femdom in nature and even better if in loving / monogamous relationship - Asking too much???
Thanks.

Ughhh. Almost all Femdom literature is wishful masturbation written by men. I swear. It's grim.
I read lesbian SM stuff when I want not to want to throw things, there's tons of kink in the Best Lesbian erotic anthologies - if she isn't turned off by the lady love that might work out. Pat Califia's classics are great.

I've been trying to find authentic FemDom stories in the women's communities, and have had no luck so far.
Mostly, when straight women write about D/s they write about topping men, or they write about themselves as the submissive, or they write their stories in the guise of two men, because of the everlasting shitty dynamics that have to be explained away in hetero culture.

One suggestion, try looking on Goodreads, there are people who have lists of books they recommend, and some of them I read were pretty good. You also can try searching e-books on Amazon, but that is really hit or miss, a lot of the femmedom books there leave me pretty cold, they are either cuckold tales or ones where the femmedom is the mean bitch like you might find in some of the stories on literotica (there are some decent femmedome style stories on Lit, in the BD/SM section, but it can be hard to find them, sift through the 'male written crap' as Stella calls it (rightfully) to find the gems.
There are anthologies of erotic fiction you might want to check out, some of them might have the kind of stories you are talking about, they have them at B/N's in their sexuality section, if you do a search on B/N or on Amazon you might be able to find some.

What you're asking for is a rare commodity. A femdom story written by a woman, and not only a woman, but one who is a dominant rather than writing as an observer. And on top of that, I presume you want the story to be consensual. Each of those variables makes the book rarer and rarer.
My best recommendation echoes that of njlauren. Go to Amazon, type in "femdom books" and go down the list looking for books with four or five stars and good reviews. And storylines that sound interesting to you. Maybe go with anthologies under the logic that at least some of the stories in the anthology will be hot AND under the assumption that the editor of the anthology made quality selections.

Strangely enough
I'm a male trying to write a femdom story, from a males perspective of course. It's a non con at the start but I hope to turn it into a romance.
The reason I mention this is because it's also hard to find an editor willing to help me.

Send me about five hundred words, and I'll give you some feedback.
Before I even see it, the non-con thing? So overdone. And honestly, most of the non-con IRL is the guy forcing the lady into being his "Dominant."
let me suggest to you that, instead of him being blackmailed or whatever it is-- that he is willing and enthusiastic. That-- get this-- he tells her that he's always had this fantasy of being blackmailed, and they work together to put him into a position with which she can force him-- and even though it was manufactured, it really is blackmail material. It really does make him vulnerable. He really does have to follow the rules.
Then she says "Ho, Ho! I have you where I want you!" and he says OMG that's so hot. And then they go on to the next part of their new relationship.
That's a scenario I have yet to see in any novel.

It's hard to find well written authentic femdom fiction. Have the two of you ever considered phone sex or custom erotic audios? I work for a company that specializes in women in control. We also do quite a few custom audios and phone sex with couples.
I'd love to hear your ideas, the things that turn both of you on. I may consider these in my upcoming writings and audios. Just send me a message here or at my blog.
OMG if I see another How To book I'll scream.

I am a naturally dominant woman and female domination is part of the lifestyle I chose, however professionally I cover a wide range of fetishes and niches. I just don't do straight or vanilla mainly because I suck at it.
I'm open-minded yet have my personal preferences. But I support, even guide, others to explore the depths of their own imaginations.

As Nextzach said if your wife isn't turned off by lesbian sex she may like 'Say Please: Lesbian BDSM Erotica' Edited Sinclair Sexsmith. It's a compilation of a number of erotic BDSM stories.
I haven't read it yet but it has good reviews. I ordered it today. You can get the e-book but I wanted the paperback. Time to break the ice, should be an interesting conversation.
