Not sure if I qualify?
I'm more of a nerd than a geek, but I do love me some fantasy reading and film-watching. Also really into anime and manga, I do the cosplay and everything Does being a bespectacled Asian student give me any extra points?
I only game a bit (xbox buddies *high five*) but all my good friends are heavy gamers so I feel like I'm honorarily in the life.

Hey there!
I am a science geek, an SF/F reader/writer, and also a fan-fiction fan. I've done a lot of cosplay in my life!
Not a gamer though... too old I guess.

You can swear as much as you like... they're like ants, though.
(I'm wearing my female body I was born with, despite the sharpy on my face)

This is the GLBT forum. What constitutes a "girl." A genetic female Or anyone that has ever dressed like one?

If you're a cross dresser and it's just a kink, you have a fetish you're not a girl. If on the other hand you are a woman MtF trapped in a man's body you're a girl.
So if you are a girl, post, if not you have many other place you can post on this board where you are welcomed!

I surely hope you don't mean that 100% BS there are many girls who happened to not born that way!

GEEEKS!
What do you geek out on, ladies?
I don't know how many times I've said it, but my geekitude is all taken up these days by the webcomic homestuck which animated gifs and even shockwave movies much of the time-- and has this cast of male and female characters that are equally badass, also lots of GLBT and downright queer. And he's said that the fans can draw them in whatever race they want, so the imagery is really varied. Two brothers are albino-- they get drawn as albino blacks and they look SO good.
And the alien race gets imagined as hermaphrodites. I'm all about that!

I'm geeky. I tried to get into homestuck. I got up to Act 5 and I got so confused with the plot. I'm totally into cosplay (have been since 2004) and I love sci-fi/fantasy movies, tv shows, books, comic books, anime, manga, JDramas, Kdramas, and the like.

Cool! What characters to you cosplay? I just finished watching Kokoro Connect, and I loved it. Now I'm catching up with Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo.

I don't do it regularly, but the last character I cosplayed was Gumi, from the megpoid Vocaloid, using this picture as a reference.
http://www.zerochan.net/261742#full
Another thing I did wasn't a specific character as such, but something I'd wanted to do for a while - a wind-up mechanical doll with wings. Half of the comments I got that day at the con were from older men leering about wanting to 'wind me up'... =_="

I am thoroughly confused by homestuck. I'm obviously missing something.
I do, however, get cosplay girls
swoooooooooooooon
I geek out over: video games, books, writing, movies, tv, comics, cosplay girls, artists, cool glasses, some aspects of steampunk...
and I'm going to PAX East again this year!
