This seems kind of abusive, taking advantage of reformed convicts and addicts, constantly trying to make them give in to their base desires. They're trying to reform and improve their lives, and you're enabling bad behavior.

But what if it was differently cast? Maybe the woman is capable of showing them something of what they should and might have. In other words, there's a potential for character development here, on both sides.
