Actually, my initial response was a bit peevish. The whole "He [usually Lord Masterly Master] knows me better than myself!" stuff often reads [to me] as one of a few things:
1) Obsessively romanticized BDSM
2) Blind hero worship/lookie how special-er my relationship is than yours
3) Opportunity for less ethical people to take advantage of points 1) & 2)
My initial thoughts on the thread were along the lines of some starry eyed submissive-type (in the throes of sub-frenzy) waxing poetic, with her (possibly online?) master is sits in the basement feeding the frenzy (Oh yeah baby... of course you feel X... I planned it that way) while surfing porn and drinking Red Bulls.
Happily, it appears that isn't the case. "I expected XYZ response; it's pretty common" (further down the thread) makes more sense to me than being "KNOWN" better than you know yourself.
Some days [often] I think I'm too 'effing jaded and pragmatic for this place, anymore...

Pragmatic is good. Jaded is something you kinda have to work through.

Internet overdose. Have two novels (of your choice) and don't post here in the morning.

er... that wasn't meant to be a "bugger off." Just "take a break."

Nope. It's not uncommon to see almost identical threads for the 37th time - or 307th - or something of the "Ohmahgawd, my man/woman/llama and I have discovered something about sex that no one has ever thought of before, and you should all join our Church of the Lubricated Llama!" - and not get a little peevish. You haven't been *nearly* as evil, wicked, mean and nasty to some of those folks as I have on a semi-regular basis. You just get peeved and gently point out that there's not really anything new under the sun, relationship-wise.

I LLOL (literally laughed out loud) in reading this pair of posts. I'm fairly sure CM took your initial response in the way it was meant... but for those who might be even more literal-minded than the "norm," great clarification!
