Well, my remedy is a few shots of tequila, a bad movie and a late night call to a good friend. Works most of the time...
Most of the time...

They most certainly do.
And then being lonely is even worse.

True, but staying together when you should break up can suck even more.

I am sorry you are hurting, breakups do suck.
I suggest a tub of Ben and Jerry's (phish food personally works best for me) a bottle or two of a good quality alcoholic beverage and some old time favourite films that you can sit and watch time and time over.
Sending out some hugs xx

Yeah
Breakups do suck... bigtime!
I was seeing this gal, over 5 years.... yes we had our differences .. everyone does...
She had control problems... which she admitted a few times... Over the years I have tried to just ask how she was... or how her Parents were.. never an answer...
Oh well...

In a fantasy world, I could and would be a Jedi Knight and teach others.
In real life, I am a very paitient, laid back guy. I can be silly and a little sarcastic. I've been told that I'm a very good kisser. I like most things in the City and outdoors.. I consider myself as someone who's concerned with the enviroment... and I am also involved with local animal shelters and rescue groups.
It would be nice to meet someone to chat with, flirt and exchange emails.
I would also consider myself to be a romantic. I am respectful and know how to treat a woman.I have and like a good imagination. I dislike vain. aggressive and ill mannered people. NOT into pain or humiliation.
I've written a few stories here on Literotica. 1Browneyedguy

I'm happy you feel better. I'd go out, see a movie, maybe enjoy a good meal. Leave the drinking to home because sometimes people make bad moves after a break up. Not saying you would but I've heard many horror stories from friends.
Again, I'm happy to see you're doing better because break ups suck. One of the best pieces of advice I ever got about break ups was, "They're exes for a reason." You'll find someone better given a little time.

Even though there was distance, he was a total a-hole to lose you sweetheart. Find a real man is my advice.

I am glad you are feeling better.
Look on it that a door of opportunity has opened up in your life, this is your chance to use it.
Go do things that he would never do, I am not talking sexually, I am talking things for you. Travel, study, take a job at a ski resort... Use the chance to grow. Xx

What doesn't kill you
Yep, it's a difficult thing, breaking up. But as the days pass the hurt will diminish, bit by bit, until you feel normal again. And you get to keep the experience--the good and the bad--and grow. In the meantime, it's ok to let it hurt.
