That's surprising, because if I believe Ancestry, he is a relation.

You seem to have similar tastes in hats, though.

Personally, I would have thought that the possessor of very dark hair might have a trace of 5 o'clock shadow, but it's a good image.
Pity we cannot do it for all of them.

With judge crater, not long ago information came to light about the case, supposedly he was killed by a cop (who was the body guard of Abe Reles, aka Kid Twist, who later would come to an interesting end as the 'canary who couldn't fly', going out the window of the Half Moon Hotel in Coney Island while guarded by a contingent of NYPD's "finest")and his brother and buried in Coney Island. From what I have read of the case, it is likely that Crater was on the take, that for his lifestyle being a judge didn't pay all that well.
There is one consequence of the story of Richard's defeat. Henry VII and Henry VIII were not good kings, under their watch England was weakened and then good old Queen Mary didn't help much. However, Elizabeth I quite literally saved the country in so many ways (helping to stop the religious civil war in England, revitalizing the treasury, and also modernizing the military and having the brains to recognize that nobility weren't always so smart, and got Drake to take over and modernize the Navy that led to Britains rebirth (as in kicking the crap out of the Spanish in 1588 which was a major event in the eventual founding of the US,plus also was the final nail in the coffin of the RC's stranglehold on Europe and in many ways was the final death knell of the middle ages), amazing woman for her times.

Actually, Henry VII put England on the path to fiscal solvency. Henry VIII threw that away with his wars. Just a relevant point.

There are some very funny jokes and asides circulating about
"having a King for a Car Park attendant",
"Park here by Royal appointment"
and of course "Royal Ghost keeps Car Park safe".
