Never every PM story ideas unless you are sending something incredibly personal like your actual nude pictures or the like. Otherwise you want everybody posting in your thread sharing ideas and building off each other and being inspired by one another. I have no idea why people always ask for pms when it's not even a good idea on it's face.

They probably do it because what they really seek is a private conversation with someone else. It's possible they don't even care if the story gets published to Lit.


I've often wondered if any of these that say "PM me" on them really belong in the Personals.
