Congratulations to the winners.
Did anyone notice that the General Board's collaborative opus (as GB Jizz) performed surprisingly well?
As one of the contributors I was surprised that the pile of crap was rated so highly.

It's not a percentage. In your case:

Divide 21633 / 392 and you get 55.19.
So, just one in every 55 people who viewed your story, voted on it.
Your figure of 1.81% is the inverse of that.
Divide 392 / 21633 (and multiply by 100) and you get 1.81.
The percentage might be a more useful metric, because that would switch the order of the table around.

I redid that last table in percentage of views to votes, which makes the most voted-upon stories go to the top of the list rather than the bottom.

Thanks for the update SSS.
I knew that my story was weird, with over 1000 votes on a little over 40K reads. I guess I pissed off even more people than I thought. If I didn't have a lot of loyal fans, who knows how low my score might have slipped.
Good company though, in the 3%+ group.
Guess it's time to get back to completing the ongoing series before even thinking about Earth Day.
