Except that teak is from Southeast Asia, not South Asia.

Oh we Hindus used to be a horny bunch back in the BC's. All you need to do is go to the Ajanta and Ellora caves and see the scenes my forefathers carved into the walls. They make the Illustrated section seem prudish. :P
