Tyrande Whisperwind

Tyrande was stuck in a torrent of lust as she teased her husband to the best of her ability. It was nearly painful for her to hold back so, but it increased her desperation in a way that made here eyes squeeze shut tightly with the effort.

It was when her eyes were shut that Tyrande felt the strange sensation of something wrapping around her wrists. Her eyes snapped open and she looked up to see some vines capturing her in their grasp. A moment later another two vines secured her ankles. She was the aggressor in this, she was the one who had the power, but now she was just as much a prisoner as Malfurion was.

Tyrande tried to pull free of the vines but failed, she looked down at her husband with a mixture of surprise and lust in her eyes as two more vines started to squeeze and massage her breasts. Another slithered down over her waist, over her slick mound, and flicked her clit, making her cry out in pleasure. When she had thought that there was nothing more left to do a final vine swirled around her entrance, brushing between her and Malfurion, and then backtracked to press against her rear entrance.

"Malfurion!" The whispered word floated through the night as she sunk down around her husband in one swift moment. She threw her head back and moaned in pleasure as every part of her was pleased and teased.

Tyrande raised her face and pressed her lips against Malfurion as she raised her hips and then slammed herself down again, filling her core with him. It felt so good to have him sheathed within her as he used his power over nature to tease her in ways that he could never do on his own. She deepened her kiss as she continued to rise slowly and then fall back down quickly. The pace was a taunting one; the way she gradually lost the fullness of his manhood made her want to cry out in agony, and the rapid refilling barely gave her time to readjust to his size.

Tyrande tried to wiggle her hands free of the vines as she was overcome with the desperate need to run her fingers over the chiseled muscles of his chest.

"I need to touch you." She moaned, not caring that he now held the power.

Malfurion Stormrage

Malfurion chuckled loudly as she reprimanded him for using his magic against her. He carefully observed her face as she tackled with her desire to tease him against the delicious effect his vines were having on her. In the end he won and he grunted resonantly as she sheathed herself on his manhood furiously.

He very nearly lost all of his concentration as she taunted them both with the gradual rise and accelerated fall of her hips. Each time she crashed down upon him he felt his grip loosen slightly as hers tighten.

After a short time her strategy changed as she kept slowed her pace and tried to escape from her bonds. Each small struggle afforded him with a pleasant caress of her inner muscles around his hardened rod. With her attention diverted he now had the opportunity to place more focus on the vines tending to her swollen nub and nicely accommodating rear entrance. Her request for freedom only encouraged him to double his efforts augmenting their speed and depth.

Though he thoroughly enjoyed her whimpers and moans in their current position his conscience won out in the end.

"For you my love, anything?" he smiled mischievously as he allowed the bonds around her arms to fall away.

Tyrande Whisperwind

As soon as the vines unleashed her hands Tyrande brought then down to caress Malfurion's chest. Her slow strokes of his skin quickly turned into something more primal as the pace of her love making increased. A series of ecstatic cries poured from her lips as the vine tending to her pearl worked its beautiful magic. She felt waves of pleasure undulating through her body and her nails now scraped along Malfurion's back as she rode him.

Tyrande felt her orgasm stem from the very core of her being and extend outwards to the glorious forest that surrounded them. Her cries of pleasure washed over Nordrassil and the surrounding trees before dispersing into the humid forest air. Every pulse of her womanhood brought with it the divine knowledge that her husband was inside of her, her feminine body delighting in the resistance he provided within her as her muscles contracted.

When the motions of the vines became too much for her sensitive body Tyrande put her hands on them and gently pushed them away. She meant forward and kissed Malfurion hungrily. Despite her release she was still desperate to feel more, and she showed this through her kiss as she devoured him hungrily.

Malfurion Stormrage

The sprightly stinging sensation caused by Tyrande's nails scrapping across his skin transmitted a surge of pleasurable pain radiating throughout his being. The effect spurred Malfurion on further as he increased the performance of his talented vines.

The power of her orgasm was like the Goddess Elune herself had possessed her writhing form, she cried out with the pure brilliance of lunar divinity as her climax took full force. Her inner core tightened around him in unison with her deafening screams locking him in a blissful state of pure delight.

When her hands batted one of his vines away Malfurion allowed it. She would need time to recover but if her feverish kiss afterward meant anything, he knew she still desired more.

When her body calmed again he repositioned his vine back to her swollen clit. With his hands free now he held her hips firmly and using the anchorage Malfurion gingerly began pushing his hips up and down keeping the penetrations slow and steady.

Tyrande Whisperwind

Malfurion barely gave her time to catch her breath before he grasped her hips and began to push back up into her. He took his time, and his strokes were measured, but her body was so sensitive that her fingers began to tingle and she couldn't help but whimper in pleasure.

Tyrande was able to handle the extreme sensations as his body and hers coalesced into a single being of pure passion. That was, of course, until he had one of his vines wiggle between them and attach to her clitoris again. Tyrande gasped as she fell forward, her hands pressing against his chest and her nails digging in.

"Oh Malfurion." She breathed his name through pants of desire as the vine prodded and tugged her sensitive nubs in ways that made the world spin around them. She began to rock her hips in time to his measured thrusts, the carnal joining building the tingling foundations of another orgasm in her trembling body.

Malfurion Stormrage

Tyrande met his thrust with equal force. Their bodies danced against each other in perfect synchronisation. Malfurion was thoroughly pleased at the way she accepted his generous attentions. He ensured that with his overly friendly vines, she received an ample amount of stimulation on her over-sensitive clit along with perfectly timed shallow penetrations of her rear orifice.

As Malfurion concentrated on building her pleasure he felt his own climax approaching. With the intend to extend their lovemaking a while longer, he had to slow his upward strokes to give him a slight reprieve to maintain his composure.

Malfurion felt the explosion of Tyrande's peak thunder through her body once again as her inner sanctum pulsed around him. With her head held back high the natural beauty of her face in pure ecstasy was on full display for his hungry eyes. With his skilled vines he kept her right on the peak of pleasure until she could no longer receive any more.

When she came down from her high the second time Malfurion showered her in light fluttery kisses.

"You, my love are the epitome of beauty, I truly wish I could hold you in the highest moment of your bliss and keep you there for all eternity." He confessed.

Before she could answer him he used the vines around her legs to aid him in repositioning her. With a combined effort he turned her completely around so that her back leaned comfortably against his chest. He cupped her breasts fully within his hands and keeping her long legs spread apart, he positioned his stiff rod within the warm depths of her womanhood again. Malfurion then planted several lazy kisses along her shoulders and neck reveling in her powerful feminine scent.

Tyrande Whisperwind

Tyrande's second orgasm was even more intense than the first, and the way that the vines simultaneously tickled her clitoris and penetrated her rear entrance, coupled with Malfurion's staff rhythmically pumping her, sent her spiralling into a world of pleasure.

"You, my love are the epitome of beauty, I truly wish I could hold you in the highest moment of your bliss and keep you there for all eternity."

Malfurion's sweet words washed down on her like heavy rain, seeping through her skin and deep into her pores. She squeezed her eyes shut tightly and tried to ignore reality. The horrible truth that he would no longer be able to do that. The fact that he was going to have to leave, possible for all of their own personal eternity.

As Tyrande struggled to process those thoughts, the vines tugged at her ankles and Malfurion's strong arms repositioned her so that the length of her naked back was pressed against his chest. She sunk down around him again, gasping at the way that his member still stretched her accommodating channel. As he begun to move inside her she relaxed against him and reached behind him to wrap her arms around him.

"You feel so good inside me." Tyrande said softly, her words floating into the atmosphere around him. "Never leave me." She whispered desperately as her muscles contracted around him eagerly.

Malfurion Stormrage

Never leave me

Her words of desire shot straight to the core of his very being. The torrent of emotions that assaulted him threatened to rip his mind asunder. Malfurion felt a light tear form in the corner of his eye, he shut his eyes tightly and let it trail down front of his face. It hung precariously off the edge of his chin before lightly splashing on the back of Tyrande's neck.

In that moment, Malfurion cared not for his responsibilities of the world. He cared not for the fate of his people and all other races on Azeroth and he especially did not care about the threat of the Burning Legion. He only cared for the single most significant part of his life. Tyrande.

Brushing away all his doubts and fears of the past Malfurion literally poured every iota of his being into the passion of their lovemaking. With the help of his magic and a firm grip on her supple breasts he pulled her toward him forcefully. His vines positioned her legs widely apart and gave him enough room to thrust into her with all the available strength left within his body. His body ached for release but he made sure that Tyrande shared his climax as his final thrust pushed him well and truly over the edge.

A dam of unrestrained fury erupted within her, flooding Tyrande's her body with a tidal wave of his precious seed. The tears from his eyes flowed freely as he lost himself within the multitude of searing emotions. When the storm finally subsided he was unable to keep his composure, Malfurion buried his face into the crook of her neck shaking and sobbing uncontrollably already feeling the pain of loss deep within his soul.

Tyrande Whisperwind

Tyrande felt the heat of a single wet tear as it trailed down her back and she was unable to contain her own emotions. Her own tears began to flow as Malfurion drove up into her as if he was giving her every last miniscule part of himself. They weren't just lovers, but soul mates. Having to part from him would be like having to take away a part of herself.

Malfurion's tenacious stroked made her cry out in pleasure and she tried to forget about everything. She pushed the memory of the Sundering from her mind, she obliterated the way that she had felt as they'd led their people through the wilds of Kalimdor, she forgot her joy at the creation of Nordrassil even as they made love at its base. Tyrande wanted to think of nothing but Malfurion, of nothing but their love. His strong hands pulled her back against him as he moved inside her, holding her so tightly that she thought he would never let go.

Eventually, as all good things do, Malfurion's affection reached an edge and tumbled past the point of no return. The soul mates had balanced precariously on the sharp edge of desire and release for too long, and then they tumbled into the depths of their orgasms their souls united. Every part of Tyrande ached with the pleasure that Malfurion had given her, and every part of her wanted desperately for him to stay. Tyrande was consumed by a whirlwind of emotions as she lay back against Malfurion, both spent and breathing heavily, their tears mingling together in the crevice between her heaving breasts.

The hand that was in Malfurion's hair turned his head as she turned her own, their lips brushing together in the most tender kiss that they had ever shared.

Tyrande didn't want to move, she didn't want to speak, she didn't want to do anything that would make this moment end. She clung to Malfurion as tightly as she could, for hope that her sheer will would stop the inevitable future from coming.

Malfurion Stormrage

Malfurion and Tyrande stayed together, frozen in a loving embrace. After recovering, they spend the rest of the night making love to each other, solidifying the eternal bond they shared. In the early morning they slumbered under the warm rays of the sun wrapped around each other sheltered by the Great Tree.

When they awoke later in the afternoon, neither of them spoke or argued about the inevitable departure of he and his fellow druids, they simply enjoyed their last few moments in quiet contemplation as they admired the beauty of the forest around them.

Tyrande Whisperwind

The wind howled through the trees as Tyrande stood in the clearing surrounding Nordrassil. The soft moonlight washed over the area and gave it a peculiar illumination that the surrounding forest lacked in the darkest depths of the night. She felt Malfurion's hands slip from her own as he slowly backed away from her, their eyes locked together in a gaze that held all of their deepest fears and most spectacular dreams.

Tyrande no longer had any tears to cry. She was tired, drained, spent. The last twenty four hours had been building up to this, and the time had passed more tangentally than she would have imagined. Parts of the night had gone so quickly that she could scarce recall them; all that she could call to mind was the sound of Malfurion's roar as he came inside of her, the feeling of his lips upon her neck, the way his fingers had traced her ears, his whispered confessions of love hot in her ear. Other parts of the day had felt like an eternity. As she drifted into a restless slumber she felt as if she had slept for an eternity, wrapped in Malfurion's strong embrace and safe in the knowledge that nothing could harm her. Then, that warm sense of contentment would shift, morph, turn into a nightmare where she was being pulled from his grasp by unseen hands.Terrors of the nights and monsters from her memory scratching, grasping, biting, pulling. Dragging her into the darkness of a nothingness so complete that it made her soul numb with agony.

Back in the clearing, in the harsh light of reality, the sensual memory of Malfurion's hands all over her body still warmed her. The Druids stood before Nordrassil now, beyond her reach but tantalizingly still in view. Tyrande stood at the front of a line of their people. Mothers, sons, daughter, lovers, brothers, kin and comrades. Each person had a connection with the Druids that were now so far away. Each of their dwindled population feeling the same pain they had upon watching their world torn asunder.

The sound of thunder boomed through the clearing and Tyrande's heart beat harder, her pulse quickening. A single figure walked out of the trees in at the edge of her field of view. The green hair and armour deceptively Kaldorei whilst the graceful horns sprouting from her temple signalled something else entirely.

Ysera.

Even in her Night Elf form she was majestic to behold. The world around them hushed in reverence as she glided over the grass between the Druids and their People. Despite the fact that she was barely brushing the forest floor, her footsteps continued to boom with an ominous resonance that made Tyrande's soul shatter within the fragile cocoon of her body.

"To the children of the Night I have given the ability to Dream. To the Kaldorei that have lost so much only to gain so little. The Aspects, seeing your pain, gifted you with the power to create Nordrassil and restore your immortality. That gift, however, comes at a price. We need your aid to protect what you hold so dear. That is why your Druirds have agreed to enter the Emerald Dream, to surrender themselves to the very spirit of nature so that they may protect it even as it protects you."

Ysera's words were spoken, but not in the sense that the Kaldorei knew. Her words were felt deep within their soul, pictures and feelings conveying their meaning as the Night Elves struggled to comprehend their magnitude. Ysera turned as she spoke, her green hair floating in the now still clearing. Her eyes were closed, yet as they passed over Tyrande she could feel the spirit of the Aspect looking deep into her soul.

"We know what we ask of you, we know the sacrifice is great, yet we also know that it is not one that you can't pay. You are a strong people, stronger perhaps than you give yourselves credit for. You must rebuild your society now, knowing that your Druids are sacrificing their time with you to build something bigger, something far more grand. Do this, and your race will continue. Do this, and your immeasurable losses will not have been in vain."

Ysera turned to face the Druids, leaving a gaping distance between herself and those who would not Dream. She reached out for Malfurion's hand. He stepped forward slowly, his eyes looking over the Aspect's shoulder and piercing into Tyrande's across the distance.

Tyrande's hand reached out for Malfurion as his own reached for Ysera's. Her lips parted as a lone tear escaped her eyes and trailed down her left cheek. She had thought that she had nothing left to give, no more tears to cry, but she had been wrong. As Malfurion's hand touched Ysera's the clearing was filled with a blinding flash of green light and He was gone.

He was gone.

Nielas Aran

Nielas held his hand against the brow of his head to block out the blinding light of the sun. His dark blue eyes scanned the horizon looking out along the road ahead, his mighty steed huffed as it made its way along the tree lined paths of Darkwood Forest. His mage robes seemed completely inappropriate for such travel but his recent prolonged years in Stormwind had led him to dispatch of traveling attire leaving him with only what he wore to court. Even the dark brown hair upon his head and the beard on his chin were both trimmed neatly in the common style of human royalty. His skin no longer showed the tan of days out in the sun with the plastered whiteness offensively reflecting the morning rays of light.

On the outset one might think his current predicament to be that of a tall tale. Nielas himself scarcely believed it, he never considered himself to be a great hero of Azeroth. Despite his skill in magic, his personal goals had never been set outside the walls of a city or keep. In his youth, he had become accustomed to traveling on horse back from Dalaran to Lordaeron; that was until he'd learned the finer art of summoning portals but in no way was that even remotely similar to his current quest.

Even though it was several days ago, the events were so fresh in his mind it felt like only the yesterday. He was in his office checking the recent paperwork of the Mage's Guild in Stormwind. As Court Conjuror to the King of Stormwind it was his responsibility to see to all magical related tasks and information. A messenger arrived at his door with plain envelope, inside a message informed him of a personal request by the Guardian of Tirisfal for his assistance in the south. He was so shocked that he initially batted off the request as a prank by one of his peers, but as he studied the official document closer he identified the unmistakable magical scent and realised he had no choice but to attend.

The existence of the Guardian was kept a secret from most of the human nation. The average citizen would not agree with the act of administering massive amounts of power and responsibility to only one person. As an Archmage of the Kirin Tor and also an Acolyte of the Order of Tirisfal, Nielas knew of the Guardians of Tirisfal and the council that resided over them. Though he had never met the Guardian in person he was well aware of the power they possessed and their purpose in the world.

He thought it overly strange that the Guardian, probably the most powerful mage in his knowledge, would request the skills of a Court Conjuror but it was not his place to question the wisdom of someone so powerful. Although he would never consider himself even on par with such an individual, he could say with much confidence that he could hold his own in any confrontation. Nielas prided himself on defensive magic, many of his peers and even superiors found it greatly challenging to bypass any wards of his creation, it was this skill that easily afforded him the position of Court Conjuror, for if the need ever rose he would be quite capable of defending his King. Perhaps it was for reason he was requested.

Nielas informed all those of importance of his newly appointed task. The King seemed quite reluctant to let a man of his talent go on a possibly dangerous task but the request of a Guardian could never be taken lightly. As the general populace were not privy to the existence of the Guardian, Nielas' absence was simply described as a family matter. With all his affairs in order Nielas began the trek toward the edge of Duskwood forest to meet his new destiny.

Magna Aegwynn

"And then there is the matter of the Guardianship..."

"What matter do you speak of? I know of no issues."

"Well," Words hesitant yet eyes determined "you, Magna, are mortal. Despite the fact that you have held the mantle for nigh on a thousand years your time shall pass, and we need to be prepared for that eventuality."

"Rest assured gentleman, I have no intention of passing."

"Passing? Of course not Magna, we are merely talking about the possibility of an if. We are not prepared. You have no successor."

"I only need a successor if I am passing on the mantle. Which, I repeat, will not be happening until I find someone worthy of it."

"With all due respect Magna, this is not entirely your decision to make."

"He is right Magna, it is prudent that we start to think of such matters."

"I agree... Anything can happen when you are fighting demons. If the worst fate shall befall you we need to be able to act swiftly and confidently."

Their eyes were all alight now. Alight with the maniacal greed that came with too much power. Too much corruption. So, they wanted to pass the Mantle on to one of their puppets?

Not if I have anything to do with it.

~*~

Magna Aegwynn waited at the last signpost in on the road before Duskwood Forest gave way to the Deadwind Pass. She had arrived early which was unusual for her, but time passed quickly in the century past, so waiting for Nielas Aran to arrive was not particularly bothersome. He was the fifth mage that she had decided to test in as many months, but ultimately the most promising.

Ever since her meeting with the Council of Tirisfal she had been on a mission. The only thing that had surprised her was that it had taken them so long to voice their suggestion. Replace her? She had been alive for longer more years than their ages put together. But, as usual, their generation of the council had proven themselves to be just as power hungry as all the previous ones. Though much more daring, as they were the first to openly suggest replacing her. Or talking about her possible replacement.

What they had actually said mattered not to Aegwynn; it was all semantics. The message, however, was perfectly clear. They were tiring of having her in power. The mages that had suggested to succeed her were nothing but their puppets, and none had any power that would lend them to the role.

No, Aegwynn had decided, if anyone was going to choose her successor it would be her. And their succession would occur on her terms as well. She had discovered a solution to her problem when she had been reading through some dusty old tomes full of the politics and stuffy procedures of the Council.

A child.

If the Guardian of Tirisfal had a child then the mantle of power would pass on to them. It sounded simple enough at first, but then a number of troublesome issues presented themselves. She had only just begun to deal with the first of them, and thus far hadn't had much success.

The father of her child needed to be powerful, but the majority of the most powerful magi were all slaves of the Council. Those that weren't were deeply embedded withing the Kirin Tor at the least, and those so close to the political stronghold of such an organisation were well within the Council's grasping nefarious reach. However, she also needed the father to be a part of these organisations so that the child would have an easier path to acceptance. It was a conundrum that was difficult to solve.

It was this conundrum that turned her towards Nielas Aran. He was an Archmage of the Kirin Tor yet he lived in Stormwind. He was the Court Conjurer for a King even though he could have held one of the leading roles within the Kirin Tor in Dalaran. He had chosen, despite his reputed power, to lead a life apart from the politics that would have consumed him in Dalaran and this intrigued Aegwynn. She had heard reports of this Conjurer's powers as well. Despite the fact that he was apparently talented in all areas of magic it was his affinity for defensive magic that had drawn her attention. If and when her enemies learned that she had borne an heir they would try and find it. They would hunt down her progeny in an attempt to disrupt her plans and uproot her power. What the child would need, more than anything else, was a strong protector until it came of age.

Magna Aegwynn looked up as she heard the tell tale sound of hooves on the forest path. Her hearing was keener than her eyes in this forest, what with the trees getting in the way, so she had no choice but to wait patiently for this Conjurer to arrive.

Nielas Aran was reasonably handsome; Aegwynn could give him that in the least. His brown hair and beard were trimmed in a manner that was popular with the Royalty of the day. His blue eyes were sparkling in the muted midday light of the forest. His clothes, however, came as a bit of a shock to her. He had chosen to wear the pretty garb of the King's court. His robes were bright red, purple and gold and stood out sorely against the natural green hues of the forest. As far as travel gear went it was highly impractical and it immediately made Aegwynn wonder if his ability outstripped his common sense. As he sat astride his travel laden steed he looked highly out of place.

As Nielas approached Aegwynn got to her feet and stood straight, her eyes meeting his and her head bowing slightly in acknowledgement.

Nielas Aran

Nielas spied the slightly worn signpost leading to the Deadwind pass in the distance. His timing was impeccable, as the letter had instructed, he had arrived at High noon exactly at this point. A lone figure sat at the base and stood at his approach, he assumed this to be the Guardian of Tirisfal but became confused as he got closer.

A young woman stood before him, she had alabaster white hair flowing freely in the afternoon wind, her eyes were a brilliant blue harbouring a deep inteligence well beyond her physical age. Her skin was creamy white and her feminine curves were hardly hidden in her simple attire. The robes were of simple design, seemingly thick and light; very well suited for travel. Even though they were a dull white in colour, he did not observe any dirt from the rigors of travel one might expect from such a garb. There were no markings of any kind on the fabric to signify her affiliation.

At first Nielas was worried that the invitation had been a ploy to lead him out of the castle but then he remembered the distinctive magical scent of the note. He was almost doubly certain that none other than the Guardian themselves would have been able to leave that signature. Also, only the King himself knew of the exact reason for his departure and even then, he was not privy to the time and location of the meeting. Perhaps this woman was under the tutelage or employ of the Guardian and he was to be escorted to their location.

Nielas was always cautious man. He cast a silent spell of protection around himself, made sure his staff was within arms reach and kept his magical senses pealed. As he approached to what he deemed a safe distance, he gave her the general greeting he would for any subordinate mage.

"Salutations, I am meeting someone here in this exact location at this precise moment. Would you be here to guide me per chance?" He called out. Even though he was certain now that this was not an ambush he still felt the need not to give out his name and title.

Magna Aegwynn

Aegwynn had to stop herself from smiling as she felt him cast a protective shield around himself. Her thoughts quickly changed tone as she realised that this was more than the other candidates had ever done. It was clear from the gesture that he used to greet her that he didn't think that she was the Guardian (not that any of them ever did), but at least he had the common sense to try and protect himself despite that.

"At this exact location at this precise moment?" Aegwynn asked, keeping her tone light and conversational. She smiled at him. "It seems you are indeed. Am I here to guide you?" She tilted her head to the side for a moment and looked directly at him, her face turning serious. "That depends on you Nielas Aran. I can only guide you if you would be so kind as to follow."

Nielas Aran

Nielas could barely hide his look of shock as she named him so openly, especially without introductions. Still though, it did confirm for him that it was highly unlikely that she was a bandit looking to mug him. However, if she truly was the Guardian's apprentice and already knew who he was, then he would need to inform him of her lack of respect toward a superior mage. His time in Dalaran had taught him that procedures and protocol were paramount to civilised culture, he wasn't as strict as some of his other peers but he did understand the importance of ranks among society.

He was certain now she was a mage, as his senses became more accustom to her presence he could detect a slight hint of magic emanating from her. Unfortunately, unless she openly cast a spell he would not be able to determine the level of her power. He decided to let her blatant disregard for protocol go, since she was affiliated with the Guardian. He decided to restart their greeting.

"Well met, I am indeed Nielas Aran, The Court Conjuror of Stormwind. I would be glad to follow you if you would be so kind to present me a name that I may call you by." he offered politely.

Aran's response proved to her that he didn't think that she was the Guardian. He, just like the others before, believed her to be a mere apprentice or messenger. She had to wonder whether it was because she was female or because they expected the Guardian to be surrounded with glowing lights and fireworks due to the power of the Tirisfalen. Aegwynn believed it to be the former.

"You can call me Aegwynn if it please you." She said with a smile. That would ruffle his courtly feathers.

Nielas Aran

Nielas searched his mind trying to recall any familiarity with her name. During his time in Dalaran as one of the Archmage's of the Kirin Tor he made it his business to know each and everyone of his fellow spell casters, yet he did not recognise hers.

It was likely that she started her apprenticeship after his relocation to Stormwind or that she was a special student under The Order of Tirisfal. Nielas was only an Acolyte of the secret organisation and thus was not privy to a great deal of information involving the Guardianship.

Still wary but more trusting than before, Nielas dismounted to stand right in front of her. At this distance he could observe her features more closely, she seemed even younger than he first thought. It was possible that he was ten years her senior, despite that however, he found her quite attractive. The healthy glow of her flawless skin and high cheek bones were similar to that of the other ladies at court.

He was at least a head taller than her but his thin frame was only mildly wider than hers. In his years studying magic, Nielas had built upon his mind as opposed to his body. Luckily for him his magic was more than sufficient enough to cover for his lack of physical strength.

"A pleasure, Aegwynn" He gave her a slight nod.

"Would you allow me the knowledge of your family name as well?" He inquired. It did seem odd to him that she didn't give him her full name but they were already conversing much more casually than what was appropriate, so he didn't think upon it too greatly.

Magna Aegwynn

Aegwynn had to give Nielas credit for taking her short response with grace. She had expected him to get offended by her not sharing her full name, but instead he had accepted it and moved on, prompting politely for more information after sliding gracefully off his horse.

"There is some knowledge worth having, and some that is not. To be perfectly honest Nielas Aran, my family name is the second kind. It lost all meaning to myself and others long ago. I am sure knowing me as Aegwynn will be much more profitable to you." Aegwynn looked between Nielas and his horse for a moment before speaking again. "Shall we go?" She asked.

Nielas Aran

Nielas listened to her words carefully, she gave him enough of a response without giving away any information at all. He wasn't entirely sure why it bothered him, instead of the meaningless conversation he had been encouraging, he should have been more concerned with meeting the Guardian. There was just something about her that urged him to learn more.

"Aegwynn it is then. Lead the way." Nielas responded as she broke him out of his reverie. Nielas remounted his steed and looked around the area for hers. He found it very odd that there was none in the immediate vicinity. There were no nearby teleportation hubs for her to use and judging by their current location there would be none where they were going. It was for this reason that Nielas had brought his favoured equine along.

"Where is your mount?" He asked, still looking around.

Magna Aegwynn

"I have no need of four more legs when my own two are more than capable of travelling this path." Aegwynn said with a shrug before turning around. She began to walk down the path that led to the Deadwind Pass assuming that Nielas and his mighty steed would follow.

Nielas Aran

Nielas was perplexed by her nonchalant behavior, perhaps where she came from it was fine to be so ignorant but he had been brought up on the importance of acceptable behavior. She began to move toward the path that lead into the Deadwind Pass, a place he never thought he'd ever enter in his lifetime. He was a patient man and perhaps in time this young woman would learn some manners even if he was the one to teach her.

"Aegwynn, perhaps you would prefer to ride upon my stead whilst I walk alongside you, for me, it is improper to allow a lady to travel as you described, especially in such inhospitable cond......" Nielas began, his faithful horse Lairana suddenly reared on the spot, almost dismounting him. He held onto the reins with all his strength and tried to calm her.

"Lairana girl whats wrong?" He asked his horse in a soothing tone. He tried to resume their movement but she maintained her abruptly stubborn behavior.

"I haven't the foggiest idea what has gotten into her." He commented looking at Aegwynn in confusion who continued walking as if nothing was the matter.

Aegwynn smiled to herself as she heard Nielas' horse rear and bray as they approached the entrance to the pass. She looked stopped and looked at him over her shoulder.

"Thank you kindly for the offer of your beautiful steed, but I am afraid that neither you nor I will be able to take her through the pass. It is called Deadwind for a reason. Humanoid creatures fear it for a reason, but we are foolish enough to enter. Horses? They are smart creatures. It is best if you leave her here and pick her up on the return journey."

Nielas Aran

Aegwynn's explanation troubled him greatly. Though he was a talented mage who did not lack any amount of power, he was not a seasoned adventurer. He never saw himself as a great hero battling against insurmountable odds at the risk of death. Now, here he was about to venture into the unknown. Would he return? Perhaps his fate was not his to decide. The Guardian had requested his presence for a reason, for now he would trust in their judgement.

"I'm sorry old girl. I suppose this is one destination we won't be traveling together." He sighed openly. Nielas steeped off his horse once again and began to gather his belongings. Now that they were going to be moving on foot he would only be able to take the bare essentials. Luckily he hadn't packed too much and was able to fit all he needed in a small backpack.

Once he was ready, Nielas gave his faithful steed a final farewell pat and sent her on her way. Being magically intelligent he knew she would find her way back to Stormwind safely, he just hoped that it wasn't the last time he would see her.

"It seems I am completely at the mercy of your guidance fair Aegwynn. Thank you for your patience." He commented and motioned for her to continue down the dark path before them.
