The Super Bowl will probably be on at our house, but I don't know if I'll be paying attention because I don't have anything invested in either team.

I'm leaning toward the 49ers because they have more former (non-Urban-Meyer-associated) Ohio State players, but then a member of their coaching staff played football with my ex in college, and I remember the guy as a douchecanoe.

OTOH, it's tough to root for the Ravens because I lived in NE OH when Art Modell moved the Browns to Baltimore.

I was rooting for the Broncos.

rainshine: the super bowl is the championship of the american rules football. the halftime show is the premier showcase for US advertising with a 30 second spot costing in the neighborhood of US $4 million, up from $3.5 million last year.

eilan: it's hard not to root for peyton manning...unless you're a fan of his brother's team anyway...i hope my giants get their shit together so we can get a manning bowl next year in NJ.
