New to Site and I am trying t develop compelling story

Hi I am new to this site and I have a story idea. well several but I am wondering if you all can tell me what makes a story good to you and why?

Do you like the story more in the first person or the (God) point of view.

Do you like male star characters or female star characters?

Story line/plot or just hot steaming play?

With the breadth of readership, the only credible answer to those questions is "yes/no/maybe." Just write what engages your interests. You're sure to find fans (and a detractor or two) here.

Write what you like to write and do it in the style with which you are most comfortable. Take your time, make it entertaining, and you should make out fine.

The above two have it right. There is a huge audience here with varying tastes.

It is impossible to make everyone happy, but here on lit it is also impossible not to find like minded people as well.
