Editor needed to look over one story.
I just finished a story 22,000 words, four chapters. The editor I was using has edited the first three chapters. When I sent him the fourth chapter his e-mail has been stopped. I've written him and PM'ed him but no replys. Any editors willing to look at the story and edit at least the last chapter?
If so, drop me a pm and I'll get your e-mail and send the full story to you. I of the questions I need answered is what catagory you think it should go in. The possibilites are Romance, Loving Wives and erotic couples. Also weather it should be submitted in multiple chapers or all at once. It would be 8 to 9 Lit pages.

I finally got an editor to look over the story. The editing waters do seem rather rough at the moment. I'm just happy that someone stepped foward.

Hi Mistress, how are you doing. You always were one of my favorites. Graduate yet? I did get a couple of fantastic people who offered to help me. Running kind of close on the Halloween story. No big deal if I don't make it. I'll submit it anyway. You know how bad of a writer I am. LOL Lots of ideas but not very good at expressing them. Nice talking at you.

Why are you doing all this venting on my post? I'm sorry you have problems with Lit and I can accept you posting a message about it being hard to find an editor but ranting on my post doesn't solve anything.
I did get two repies from two fine editors and each edited a story for me. Not all editors on this site are bad, (as you say) some are very helpful.

Miss Lynn is a very good friend of mine and knows I would never say anything bad about her. I can see where you might have thought my comment was aimed toward her, sorry about the slight confusion. Lynn was one of my favorite editors. She was named most helpful editor that year and then chose to go back to college leaving her little time for editing.
Glad we could straighten it out.

All right, since said quote involved me, I'll comment.
How many people would see a thread and read just one post? Especially if that post wasn't the first one.
I assume anyone opening a thread would read all the posts as a way of discovering the full contents. Or they would at least scan the thread to see who posted what. In addition, if anyone made frequent visits to the EF, they would be familiar with some of the authors and the type of comments posted.
