Will Obama And Hillary Get it Right This Time...?

People wonder why they didn't do more to support the Iranian uprising: nuclear weapons.

What gets me is that Hillary first invokes deep cuts in Lybian embassies security; yet now we are going to fork over $45 million? A broken US economy cannot get back on its' feet at home, but our tax money still gets handed out like candy? I suppose we are going to rebuild Syria next.

A White House report released Friday itemizing budget cuts under sequestration is specific enough to be troubling, but likely will leave many in Congress wanting to know more.

The Office of Management and Budget report, required under a law the president signed in August, came prefaced with a partisan introduction that subtly blamed Republicans for the bipartisan Budget Control Act that birthed the sequester last year and called their plans to replace it with entitlement cuts “irresponsible.”

45 million. What's that, one and a half drone strike?

Pardon me, could you please share a link detailing this outrageous conduct?

Thanks in advance!
Rob
She is the Secretary of State. You do not think she has any influence on where and how money is budgeted to US embassies?

Yep.

45 million. What's that, one and a half drone strike?

For many of the American tax payers struggling to survive, 45 million is one hell of lot of money taken from our pockets.

I looked at the actual report in question, not Breitbart's interpretation of it.

The actual line item says "Embassy Security, Maintenance, Construction (NONDEFENSE) budget".

I'm not an expert on government budgeting, and I suspect you aren't either, but a cursory glance at that line seems to me that the United States Government won't be adding any new embassies and/or consulates if sequestration is invoked.

In my mind, that's a prudent decision to make. Wouldn't you agree?

The state usta steal money from all kinds of accounts, to pay for junkets to Maui and Las Vegas for administrators and Faggot of the Month Award. They also raid the overtime pay account.

Sure it is, but I don't see the same level of indignated outrage over all the other much more extravagant spending being done to further American interrests in that region.

If 45 millions to arm a rebellion is what it takes to get rid of Assad, that would be a hell of an effective way to spend resources. Compare it to what some have suggested, direct military action. That would be 45 million faster than you could say Ahmadinejad.

Also, it's less than 15 cents from each citizen's pocket.

I believe you'd find overwhelming consensus among Americans to pony up 15 cents per person to overthrow Assad without any American blood being shed.

Of course, you'd have the fringe right bellowing for yet another opportunity to play armchair general and put American troops in harm's way. It's not THEIR ass on the line.

Libyan embassy, they only have one.

Hillary Clinton is a warmonger, thank god she didnt get elected President.

Say NO to the $45 mill. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

The fact is the administration doesn't know what the allegiances of these various groups are and yet they blindly throw our money at them. I think we're financing our own destruction.

What destruction? No power in the MENA is in a position to destroy us, no matter who governs it.
