Bending- World Balance (open for one male and one female)

She listened to what he said and did exactly what he did she started the fire with a breath in and with a breath out the fire stopped in her hands. She had worked with fire bending before but it was always around water, and making sure no other towns person saw. Since she started to think she was the only kid that could do fire bending. And if it was true about there powers, that it was starting to become a stigma to have such a power. Smiling happily as she did it, and was very happy to have his guidance.

Mr. Davis did this for a while, and ended their first lesson. "We cannot advnce until you have mastered this. Wen you think you have mastered this technique, came back to me and I shall see." he said. He walked back to his home, and Anny walked up to him. "Well, how did it go?" he asked. Before any answer came, a man ran into the town square, breathless. "We are under attack by a single plant bender! He has taken out two of our men!" he shouted.

[Mayu]

She smiled at him and nodded, she wanted to say she had mastered it now. But she knew better, but then she noticed something was going on. Running over she heard what was said, and her eyes went wide. "Plant bender in this village?" She looked up and began to get a very bad feeling about this. "My god is the story about Aster true? I thought it was just a silly old story that all the kids knew about here"

The man nodded. "And he probably doesn't exist. Tis is just some crazy plant bener. But he warned, he's strong! Defend yourselves!" he shouted. Danny, however, knew it was Aster. He ran to Lisa. "He has awoken! H is going to attack the village, an she will kill all fire benders! Get out of here, or you'll die!" he said, and than ran to his dad. His dad, however, was gearing up to protect the village. "I don't care if I die, a along as this village, and you and your mom, are safe, I am okay." his father said.

She looked at her friend, happy that he cared so much about her but she shook her head. "This is my home and no one is going to chase me out" She knew however that his father was going to protect the village, she just hoped that he would survive this. But something told her that if this story was coming true that he would die just like everyone else, she just hoped to god it would stay just that a story. Looking at Danny she placed her hand on his back and rubbed his back "It will be okay Danny have faith in your dad"

Danny felt Lisa's hand on his ack. "How can the village prevail if Aster is unbeatable? Even the greatest masters together couldnt beat him! He is too string. Our best chance is to run away." he said. He turned to Lisa. "Anyone who resists Ster shall be turned into his mind slave, or killed. if you want to live, run."

[Mayu]

She listened to him and squeezed his shoulder with kindness "I'm not leaving you" she said simply. "You are the only person I can call friend, we will be okay if we stick together. Maybe he wont even find out I am a fire bender, not like many people know what kind of bender I am"

There conversation was cut short by a vine stretching out and grabbing Danny by the heel. He was being dragged, and he grabbed the ground, but that only slowed the vine down. "Help!" he souted. He couldn't focus enough to bend, and everyone else had either run away or gone closer to fight Aster. He already saw some dead bodies, and some of them he recognized as fire benders, others people he had seen before. The vine didn't stop, and pulled harder. He turned to Lisa. "Help me!" he shouted.

She didn't see it till it was two late and before she knew it Danny was screaming for help. Her eyes went wide as she ran quickly to try and catch up. "Danny!" She screamed and couldn't out run the damn thing. Looking at her hands she did what his father taught her and forced the fire to cut Danny free, she grabbed his hand when the plant let go, she knew now she was in trouble tears fell down her face as she hugged him. "I had to save you" She said softly.

Aster felt his vine grab onto someone. Ah, a child. There are so easy to consume if necessary. he thought. When he felt resistance he pulled harde,r and the boy couldn't grab the ground. He then felt his connection with the vine lost, and he felt searing pain as it was burned. A fire bender. They shall pay, and quickly! He raised his arms, and the village square began falling apart as trees sprouted from the ground, destroying houses and building.

Before her very eyes there village that they both knew was falling apart anger grew in her eyes as she held onto Danny making sure no one else took him. She fought back tears as her anger hit her and it was something that wasn't easy to watch, hearing the screams of people being trapped. Anger filled her body "Stop it!" She screamed her voice carrying all over the place.

Danny broke free of Lisa's grasp and pushed her,urging her to go. "Go. Run! Aster knows you are a fire bender!" he said. He turned around, facing where the vine had come from. H raised his arms, creating a wall in front of him. No plants could go through t he rock, but people could climb oer it. He turned around and ran out of the village.

She was taken back by everything, the need to run over took her and she began to run but she stopped. Turning around she ran towards the village and by the time she got there she noticed Danny was surrounded by fire. Looking at Danny she spoke "Danny I am not running I care for you and I am not letting you die!" Raising her hand as the fire started to vanish around him, she didn't care if anyone saw she cared for him.

While Anny was running, a ring of fire spread around him. Uh oh! Aster is consuming people! he thought. He saw the fire die down and Lisa with her arm raised. "Thanks!" he souted to her. He ran to her, but than he saw something that made him go cold. His mom was fighting Aster,one on one,with no help. "Mom!" he shouted. He ran towards her, throwing rocks at Aster. His mom turned to face him, and at that moment Aster struck, gabbing her by the throat. "Such waste of a water bender!" his voice boomed. Than, green energy spread around her, and her eyes glowed green.

Her eyes went wide as she ran wanting to help her but it was to late "Danny get away from her" She ran faster then she had ever ran before and grabbed her. "I'm sorry Danny it's not her any more" She said tears in her eyes. She held him fast as she saw Aster and didn't understand why he was doing this. The stories were true and she felt stupid for not believing in them, looking at Danny she shared his sorrow.

Danny roared with anger, his bending going out of control. Entire pillars of rock raised out of the ground, surrounding Aster and falling on him, crushing him. But, Aster saved himself by using plants to cushion the rocks, and ran to Danny, arms outstretched.
Aster saw the boy roar at him. No doubt the woman he just consumed was the oys mother. They rocks he easily overcame, and ran to the boy. He had such power, he would be a useful ally. He made flowers grow from the ground, tall flowers that shot poisonous spikes. Kill the girl he commanded them. He reached he Lu, and gabbed him, destroying his resistance. He turned to the remaining villagers, and began speaking. "This boy has resisted me! I shall give you all a choice. Join me, or face being consumed! If you give me all the fire benders among you, I shall reward you with freeing your loved ones! Any resister shall face this boys fate!" he shouted for everyone to hear. He then, slowly, began consuming the boy. If uninterrupted, this boy would be his, if I terroted, things would go wrong for Aster and the boy.

She saw what was happening to her friend he was going to die, she heard what he said and she stepped forward anger could be seen on her face. "Let him go!" her anger exploded as fire could be seen surrounding her body. She crossed her arms two fingers on each hand exposed. One hand dropped to make a C formation her fingers under her thin, then her other hand did the same as fire could be seen. Crossing her arms again as a big ball of fire could be seen in her hands. And then she threw it at Aster it went through Danny not hurting him at all.

She panted some with her hands out right "I didn't want to hurt you Aster it is against my being to hurt people, but when you hurt my friend and his family. Then you will have to mess with me!" She growled a bit, she was ready to shoot fire at him again. She looked at Danny and smiled at him. "You can do it Danny" She mouthed to him, believing that he could use his bending to get out of this.

Aster saw this girl stand and use fire against him. She shot a fireball at him, and he narrowly dodged it. "You insolent girl! I won't offer you the mercy of death! Your punishment shall be much more severe!" he shouted, but before another word come from his mouth, he was elbowed in the stomach by the boy. As Aster walked back, dazed from the blow, the boy escaped, and ran to the girl. Their an away from him, out his sight. All the other villagers bowed to Aster, offering their allegiance. "Any who give me fire benders shall be rewarded. Any who bring me those two children shall become my equal!" he shouted. All the villagers rose, and ran off to find fire benders, or better, the two children. Aster formed a throne from plants, and sat. Slowly, he would conquer the world and bring peace between nature and humans.

She ran with him knowing that they had just lost everything, she knew his father would die and right now she sighed looking at him. She didn't know what to do, losing everything in just moments made her head spin. Looking down she didn't know what to do, but they just had to run "I don't know where we will hide, but I am sorry I couldn't let him kill you or make him your slave" She said sadly.

Danny had on a sad face, and he spoke to Lisa. "There is nowhere to hide. we just have to run and find a way to beat Aster." he said. He turned around to see fit hey were being followed. He didnt see anyone. He looked around, and saw some tall purple flowers with spikes in their centers. They werent their before, and he turned to Lisa. "Those flowers weretn there before, were they?" he asked her.

[Mayu]

She sighed a bit and heard what he asked she shook her head "No they were not, we have to move god only knows how much power he really has" Taking his hand as she took off walking quickly, sighing she looked at him. "We will figure this out together Danny I promise" She said looking at him kindly.

They walked briskly away, but not before the flowers shot the spikes at them. Anny quickly made a wall protect them, deflecting the spikes. Danny then turned back to the road and continued walking. In his childhood, Danny had framed about meeting Aster. But now, he dreaded ever hearing about him. When he heard that name, he filled with hate. He heard shouting behind them, and turned around. "Danny!" the person shouted. Danny knew that voice, it was his fathers! "Dad!" he shouted, running towards his father. Danny didn't realize, however, that his body was growing faintly, glowing green.

[Mayu]

She heard the voice of his father but sensed something was wrong "Danny NO!" She screamed, she flicked her wrist and a wall of fire separated the two of them, she looked at him. "It's not him he is being controlled, they are using him to get to you" She rushed up to his side, knowing they had to hurry since if he could still fire bend he would beat her easily.

Danny cried. "No, it's my dad!" he shouted. He tried to get through the fire, but he couldn't. He turned towards Lisa, anger in his eyes. "This is all your fault!" he shouted, his eyes glowing green. His mind, thenonly part he could act freely, knew what was happening. Asters consuming of me was interrupted, and now things are going wrong! He can temporarily control me, and I can do something to him! he realized. But, his body didn't stop. He jumped at Lisa, pinning her on the ground. "Aster shall be happy to obtain such a pleasurable slave!" he croaked, falling deeper under Asters spell.

[Mayu]

She looked at him hurt by what he said but before she knew it she was on the ground struggling with him. She cried out a bit not wanting to hurt him. "You don't think I don't blame myself for what happened?" Hearing what he said she looked at him. "Danny please you can fight him!" she said her eyes almost begging that he take control of himself.
