He nodded and I knew that even at the end of the day he wanted more than just a little company as did I. Slowly leaning down I brushed my lips against his timidly, my heart pounding in my chest. Finally I went for it, closing my eyes and kissing him softly my fingers tangling in his shirt.

That first moment of touch and everything melted away. Holding her tightly and kissing her back softly I wanted her and apparently she wanted me but I wasn't going to throw myself onto her and plunge inside and fuck her silly, no, i wanted to take my time and savor the moment like a fine bottle of wine, though I never drank. Just an expression. Once we kissed i wanted to kiss her again to taste her.

Slowly pulling back I blushed looking down at him my lips tingling. "I... think I enjoyed that more than I should." I said quietly before leaning back on the bed. I would let him make the next move. I didn't want to rush anything. I feared I would seem clingy or obsessed.

When she pulled away it made feel as though she regreted it and hen she said that. It was more so but she could have left the bed, left the room. Instead she just laid there and looked at me and it took a moment to gauge the intent. Was she wanting me make a move? It was confusing after she spoke there was nothing but silence between us for several seconds but I leaned ino her and gave a kiss to her soft lips and held it for a couple of seconds so that there was no second guessing.

He stared at me and for a moment I worried I had done something wrong before he leaned over me. Blushing he kissed him again and I felt my breath catch in my chest. Reaching up I touched the side of his cheek kissing him back as he leaned over me. Shivering I pulled him closer wanting to feel his body agianst me.

With my arms still wrapped around her slender body i pulled her towards me and we kissed again. I didn't want sex I just wanted to feel someone's touch and feel as though my service was needed and when we kissed once again it lasted longer and the tip of my tongue wiped across her pink lips.

I gasped feeling his tongue opening my mouth before holding onto him tightly. My tongue slid out to gently brush against his before pulling away slightly my lips brushing his as I caught my breath. My eyes fluttered open and I stared up into his deep brown ones, my blue ones staring back at him.

I couldn't remember the last time I kissed a woman and once Kayla kissed back and we were staring each other directly in the eyes it seemed I could look into her soul and see every bit of emotion that possessed her body and pulled her tighter. I wanted her slender body on top of me so i could feel her weight and allow my hands to wander over her body.

We rolled and before I knew it I was on top of him, my legs on either side and my hands on his chest. Blushing I stared down at him shivering. "Hi." I chuckled softly as I rubbed his chest before kissing him softly once more.

Chuckling back, "Hi" we kissed once again and my hands reached up and stroked her back. There was weight to her. I could feel her bearing down she was real. Brushing aside the covers it was just our clothes and yet still I did not want sex, sure the kissing and touching were great; it was what I liked most, there seemed to be more passion in kissing. At least to my opnion.

My legs hugged his sides as his fingers ran across my back. Blushing brightly I let my tongue run along his lip, lightly sucking it before kissing him once more. I was intoxicated by his kiss and I wanted nothing more than to be closer to him, to feel him hold me. My fingers tightened in the front of his shirt for a moment before running up to touch his shoulders. I could feel his muscle against my chest and I smiled behind his lips. Slowly, I began to take control of myself and pulled back enough to place my forehead on his, my eyes closed. I didn't want sex the passion and raw emotion behind our kisses were enough for me though I looked up as I felt a weight on the bed.

In an instant not only were we no longer alone but we were being covered in doggy kisses. Laughing I pushed Twitch away. "Someone was feeling left out." I chuckled

Chuckling as Twitch hopped onto the bed and began licking both of our faces. She was crazy like Kayla said of being left out. After scratching her ears I gently pushed her out of the way so that we could get back to the moment we were sharing. Blushing over this there always seemed to be someone that was out to ruin perfect moments. Looking back at Kayla her chees were lightly blushing as well and we connected, silently asking if we should go back to kissing. She had a delicate touch and holding her hips nd bearing down onto my stomach it felt so right to have her in my company.

Smiling I felt him hold me tighter as he pressed his lips to mine. "I'm glad you didn't kill me in the market." I laughed before kissing him again pressing myself tighter against his body. After a moment I pulled back enough to look down at him blushing. Smiling I began to get off. "Come on, we gotta get moving." I teased

"Me to" I replied and when she rolled off my mind was cursing up a storm as the moment was broken Kayla was correct; we had to get going. The day was young and much to do. Getting out of the bed I dressed myself in the same old clothes, took up my weapons and kit, and went to the kitchen. There was a great deal of supplies we could take and when Kayla was ready began setting out the chores we needed.

After a quick clean up and change I walked down to the kitchen. "I have some extra bags I found."I said softly as I began to grab the first aid kit, and a few other things. "There should be extra water bottles in the fridge along with a large amount of frozen ones in the freezer that would be nice on most of the drive." I smiled lightly kissing his cheek as I passed teasingly. "We can stop at the gas station and get some gas."I cooed grabbing a bag and a gallon of water.

"Great" as she kissed my cheek and I blushed slightly but kept busy so she did not see it. In the garage we packed the Mustang. We had all of the essentials, food, water, tools, now we needed gas. The station would likely be full bu we needed containers to hold them. "Do you have any extra jerry cans?" Meaning fuel cans. We needed everything possible to extend our ability as we were going to on the road, all we could rely on is what we could carry and there still has to be room for the supplies back at my place. It was beginning to feel like a family going out for camping and they were taking the whole house with them. Hell, we even have a dog! But Twitch was a fine dog and would prove useful as will Kayla and myself. It just takes time, patience, and training which we can give one another.

I couldn't help but chuckle at this.

"Do you have anything personal you wish to take?" I asked. This was her home and likely she would not be coming back.

Smiling slightly I begin to grab a few other things before turning to look at him. "Jerry cans? We should have a few in the cellar." I said softly pointing towards the far door. "Down there should also be some extra bags down there too." I smiled happily. Thinking about grabbing something personal I shook my head. "No... I don't think there is anything I want to take with me...." I murmured running my fingers through my hair.

"Are you sure?" I asked, heading for the basement. We might not be back a long time. If ever" going down there, indeed there were several empty jerry cans that would prove useful. They ere old and metal but could still hold the hydrocarbon. Taking as many as I could and heading back upstairs and putting them into the trunk I look at her as she ran her hand through her long hair. "All set?"

While he was downstairs I made my way to my mothers room. Taking a deep breath I took a small cross necklace and placed it around my neck. Biting my lip I wiped my eyes not wanting to cry. After a moment I was standing at the car rubbing Twitch's ears. "Yea.. I"m ready." I smiled. "I grabbed some of my dads old clothes, they might be able to fit you. If not I can take them in." I cooed.

"Alright, I'll try them on when we get back to my place. Let's get going." As we were getting in I noticed the glisten of something new wrapped around her neck but did not say anything as we climbed inside and I rolled down my window so that I could place the barrel of my rifle out for personal protection. On the roof we strapped down our bicycles. With Twitch in the rear passenger seat I asked, "Let's roll."

Smiling I nodded leaning back before yawning. "Lets roll." I giggled before lightly placing my feet on the dash to get comfortable. "So how far do you think we are going to be going?" I asked as I got comfortable. "And please tell me more about you." I cooed happily.

"Well," turning the engine over and putting it into gear, "First we'll had to the gas station ad top off the fuel as well as grab any other supplies and then back to my place and get the rest of my gear. Depending on time, if we have enough, we'll head out towards NORAD. Its close." Testing the accelorator and easing out of the garage and looking at our surroundings I went out onto the road.

Keeping the speed at a easy fifty five to conserve fuel it allowed me to talk without having to shout above the howling wind from the open window. "I served in the Army and did some time overseas and when I came back I just wanted to live alone. The VA gave me a pension to live off of. That why I deduced we head to NORAD. Its in the Cheyenne Mountains and well secured. Perhaps the people there survived all of this."

Nodding I listened quietly before smiling. "Well... did you enjoy being in the military?" I asked before looking out at the road. "I hope we aren't the only ones left..."I'm murmured running my fingers though my hair. "So... if we are the only ones left....what do we do?" I asked as I sat up looking out at the town I grew up in.

As we stopped at the gas station I sat up looking around hoping to see someone I knew though we were alone.

"I'm willing to bet that there are other people. We survived, didn't we?" I was rather upbeat as she continued to run her fingers through her hair. That is when I imposed the question, "I noticed that necklace. You didn't have it when we first met." When we approached the gas station I rolled to a stop just short of the pumps and look around to ensure that we were alone. There was a couple of cars parked in front of the building. Rolling a litte further to the closest pump I turned the engine off and climbed out.

Nodding I looked down at the necklace. "It was my mothers. She almost always wore it. I figured if anything it was the one thing I wanted to keep. I was coming here to get rid of their stuff. I didn't want any of it. I still don't. Its to much pain to think that they are gone. It was so sudden. But this... I used to play with it when I was a baby when she held me. " I smiled before slidding out of the car blushing that I had told him such a thing.
