A Black World (open to one woman)
Isaac Dale
Age 21
Height 5’10
Weight 155lbs
Eyes and hair buzz cut dark brown and eyes
Clean shaven rounded face, light build, and slightly tan skin with no tattoos or piercings
I don’t know exactly what happened that night in a suburban part of Georgetown in the north-central part of Colorado. There were less than 10,000 people here in what was mainly mining and forests and I came here because it was quiet many years ago. Living on a VA disability allowed me plenty of free time to live life outside of the military, it was peaceful with plenty of chances of hunting, fishing, but also just enjoy peace after Iraq until that one night.
Sleeping in my bed sometime past midnight there was a tremendous explosion that actually lifted me up and threw me to the floor and knocked over other furniture. Grabbing my pistol and shoving it into my waistband and grabbing my rifle I went to the front door fully expecting that this was a terrorist attack.
All the while the ground trembled and looking outside there were people running through the streets. I called out to one man as he went by what was happening but he did not know except he saw explosions to the north and bolted. No one else would stop long enough to give me even a word.
It was complete chaos.
Police and the sheriff’s department arrived as people began breaking into stores and looting food, water, and garbage such as televisions and stereos. Many fled town within the first hours but I did not know what was happening so I gathered my equipment and headed to the basement and waited it out and it only got worse.
The sky remained overcast for three days and it rained all through that time in sheets with lightening that was bright enough to light up the entire countryside. I could hear people outside but as the hours and days dragged on it tapered out. I don’t know how but it stayed dark for three days but then the rain stopped.
Going to a window and taking a look the whole neighborhood seemed deserted. No power, plumbing, and just a couple days of food and water left I had to leave and try to find others, but my car that had been sitting in the driveway of my car had been stolen so taking everything and tossing them into my rucksack I grabbed my mountain bike and headed for the town and it began to set into my mind that this was going to be the zombie apocalypse that everyone had been spouting for years, but I saw nothing for a first few blocks except abandoned cars, no dead bodies or severed limbs or anything except that there were no people and I did not want to call out for them but still I kept my pistol at my side and went on the sidewalk, eyes carefully looking at the surroundings. A queer feeling that someone was watching persisted in my travels to the center of town where the court house, mayor’s office, police station and main grocery store stood. Again the closer I came to the destination the more it seemed that this was not the zombie apocalypse for there were still no bodies. There were shell casings and blood trails but nothing else but seeing the blood and no animals made me feel that an apocalypse of some form was happening. It was no a terrorist nuclear or germ attack, and what I knew was that there was going to be people that wanted to survive using the honorable means of trust and comradeship and the others that would exploit and torture others.
(This is perhaps the largest story I have attempted. I do not like rape, incest, or scat. It will be open to one woman whom will take on several characters as will I from military, civilians, doctors, scientists and will involve many scenes of sex. PM me and we can go over the specifics)

Being inside the military instilled in me a great series of beliefs, what most people would not know; the one being how to survive. We were not just taught how to kill but how to escape, evade, and survive by any means and just because I was out does not mean it goes away.
Going down the road to Georgetown there had been a exodus since all this started, and when I mean 'by this' I still did not know what had exactly wat had happened other than explosions and panic as what would happen in any calamity. Internet was out, so was the phone network, it was dark out I had to go on limited light from my bike light and flashlight.
Three days and Georgetown was just a series of hollow buildings. Many of them had been gutted by fire and others pillaged, vehicles were sitting where they had been left, a couple with their lights still on, but the power to the buildings was out. Rolling along the sidewalk and sliding past the storefronts I made it a couple of blocks in and paused to look around.
No one.
Not a soul and not a body. There died pools of blood on the road and on the sidewalk, but strangely: no bodies. Some shell casings but not a finger or articles of clothing to go with them. Drawing my pistol out from my holster my sense was telling me someone was close, watching me and my eyes were looking about for whomever it was.

The police force in Georgetown was small to begin with, even coupled with the Sheriff's department. If something as massive as what I'm seeing actually occured then they would have summoned the National Guard and those three days they would have shown up by now, but I did not see a single Humvee.
I was stopped short of the grocery store and felt someone was watching me, but could not locate the threat and I did not want to give away my position by shouting out for someone.
The air was cold and still and there was a strange odor in the air that I couldn't describe. It wasn't foul or sickening just strange-foreign.
Looking at the ravaged town with no bodies made me feel I was in a horror or sci-fi movie as I scanned my surroundings but found no threats. My instincts were telling me to turn about and fall back to the house, my sanctuary, but the need for supplies at the grocery store outweighed the risk. There was just a couple days of food and water inside my pack and that store, though not grande, had enough for me to live on for a couple of months. Keeping my pistol at my side and my rifle in front I placed my feet to the peddles and kept rolling. It was just a couple of blocks ahead.
This story will involve several characters being played by myself and any woman that wishes to take part. If you're interested send me a private message and we will discuss it.

My bike chains were making slight 'chink' claps as I rolled down the sidewalk and saw the grocery store was intact, a bit shot up, but intact and that meant that there would be supplies inside. Parking my bike on the side of the building I gave the building and my surroundings a once over.
No one.
Not a soul and the sky was still overcast and dark.
When I moved to Georgetown I did not know anybody and even up to now most were just aquaintances and no bonds, and knowing in a scenario such as this the moral fiber of the country would rapidly deteriorate as people now forget about the laws and fight for themselves. Not that I can blame them, but I just hoped not to run into the business end of a shotgun by a crazed man.
Moving to the center of town it seemed to a lot worse with many damaged and abandoned vehicles choking the roads and going up to them carefully there were no bodies and what had been stored inside had been left intact. It was an apocalypse but no zombies that I could see.
What I needed was to get supplies and head back to my home, but perhaps there would be someone left inside this town, if I survived then must be others that hid themselves inside a shelter. There must be others, perhaps the military arrived and I needed to form a group and then formulate a plan.

The road had been rough for me. Running me fingers through blond messy hair I took a deep breath. I had been wondering for quite some time. I had taken shelter in me parents cellar while I was going through their belongs. They had passed months before in a car accident and I had just found time to go through their home for anything I wanted to keep before selling the house though I doubted I needed to worry now. Walking on foot had it's limitations for sure. I had barely managed to get to town. It seemed as though everyone was gone. Had I missed something? Maybe everyone had gathered together and left at one time. I couldn't be the only one left in the little town.
I smiled to myself as I made my way to the small store in town. Maybe I could find some food and supplies. It had all happened so fast. First the crack of explosions and then the house had begun to shake. What exactly had happened? I felt so lost and confused. What was I to do now? Should I find other survivors? Or should I try and hotwire a car and make my way towards a larger city. I had never imagined I would be in such a situation.
Stepping into the small store I ran my fingers along the shelves. "Bread?" I murmured to myself wondering what exactly I should pick up. What is the best thing to get in a doomed world anyways?

Stepping inside the store through the front my rifle stock to my shoulder and scanning through the neat aisles it seemed that despite everything had occured the store's interior was intact which was fortunate for myself as it meant more supplies for me and going through I had to secure the place before any pilfering could take place.
The store wasn't that big, no basement, and no attic made it simple but as I went that lingering feeling that someone was here with me made my body on edge. Looking down the iron sights of my rifle at the aisles and carefully moving in a diangonal tip toe fashion to muffle my approach each aisle was cleared until I turned to where the bread and other grains were stokced and I saw a figure, "Halt!"

I about peed myself when a voice screamed at me. "W..what." I murmured before turning and stilling. The voice belonged to a man behind a shotgun! "Don't shoot! Unarmed!" I squeaked dropping the bread I had been holding and pressing myself against the shelves. My heart was pounding and for a moment I feared it would all be over. I hadn't even lived yet. I still had so much to do, my bucket list was still three pages long with only two check marks.
"Please don't shoot. I'm not here to hurt anyone I just want some supplies." I murmured closing my eyes as I began to tremble. Why hadn't I taken fathers shotgun with me? I wasn't that dumb. People went crazy when faced with ultimate starvation and a waste land. Atleast that's what the movies said. Trembling I tried to keep myself as calm as possible. Maybe this guy could help me.

"Hands! Hans!" I demanded, "Let me see your hands!" she wasn't a person I knew and therefore could not take any chances with this woman. She may be a survivor, or part of a group. Approaching her cautiously I had to get her to up against the wall and searched and then have her tied to continue the rest of the search to secure the area. I did not want to do it, it was all part of my instincts from the Army, she may be just another scared survivor, just like me, but I could not take the chance.
Approaching her slowly, one foot in front of the other, weapon still trained on her, if she made the slightest move I would shoot even though she was pleading not to shoot I had to if she threatened me.
"Up against the wall!"

Shaking I watched him move towards him tears beginning to fall down my cheeks. This man was serious. He was going to kill me. What if he tried to rape me before hand? As he yelled for me to show my hands I held them up though they shook as well. "Up against the wall!" It was all I could do not to faint right there. "Ok! Ok! I'm going please just drop the gun I'm not going to do anything. Please I'm unarmed I just wanted supplies." I whimpered plastering myself against the wall hands up on either side of the wall next to my head, my legs spread.
"What do you want with me." I said softly trying to get a look at his face. Maybe I knew him. I knew almost everyone in town but his voice didn't seem familiar.

Handling a female prisoner there had to be a fear in her mind that I was going to rape her, but I wasn't. I was not that kind of man, just going to detain her long enough to secure the area and then we'll go from there. Perhaps she was another survivor and we might be able to link up, but her face was not familiar to me therefore I had to be overlly suspicious of everything and everyone around me.
"Are you alone? Are you alone?"
Reaching her body one hand reached up and grasped her wrist and pulled it towards me and placed it against the small of her back then brought the other and out came a plastic zip cuff and then her wrists were tied behind her back and then told her to drop to her knees with her back still to me. It must be very unusual, she perhaps feared that I was, in fact, going to rape and kill her, but after telling her to drop she continued to plead but I had to ignore her and keep up my guard.

His hand was rough around my wrist and my tears seemed to be never ending even though I tried to stop them. "Y..yes. Yes! I'm alone!" I whimpered as I felt the plastic against my wrist. "Oh god please! Don't hurt me!" I cried as he pushed me to my knees. Falling to them I placed my butt against my heels my body trembling. Looking up at him I sniffled. "Please. I'm not asking for trouble. There are no survivors at least I don't think there are." Pulling at the plastic I began to panic being claustrophobic being bound terrified me.
Closing my eyes I watched him begin to walk away. He was going to leave me there? I'd die here all by myself. Turning I sat on my ass my back against the wall and my knees against my chest. I could hear his footsteps as he continued to check the store. Soon my forehead fell against my knees though my tears finally stopped.

Leaving her there and checking out the rest of the place I come back to the prisoner and kept her seated and asked her, very calmly, "What is your name? Where are you from? Do you have any form of transportation? Do you know what has happened?" I was in the dark completely and hoped she would have something at least including if there might be others, but when she said with being alone I did not put much stock in that.
If she answered my questions and did not present herself as a threat then the cuffs would come off. It was nothing personal, just protection for myself. I could not risk having some stranger running around whilst trying to secure the place, "My name is Isaac Dale" I said standing just off to her left, the shotgun still in one hand.

Hearing his voice once more I looked up seeing his face for the first time. My heart was pounding in my chest and for a moment I thought he could hear it. Taking a deep breath I tried to calm down enough to talk clearly. "My name is Kayla Bryant. I'm from here well I was. I live in New York now. I was at my parents house when the explosion happened. No, I don't have a form of transport. No I don't know what the hell happened." I finally finished talking and looked down at the ground. "Please, stop pointing that thing at me. As you can see I"m not armed and I"m not a threat in this position if any." I said quietly my hair hiding my face as it shifted my shoulders and arms beginning to hurt.

Despite her pleas and her harsh words I couldn't risk it just yet. I kept my weapon where it was, but once she explained her situation and it she was not an apparent threat I asked her "What equipment or supplies do you have?"
All that I had was a single bicycle and if she did not have any wheels I was going to have to have her piggy back with me as I could not have her walk the whole way back while i'm on wheels.
"Okay, Kayla, here's what i'm going to do. i'm going to let you out but when I do you're going to help me. Understand? I'm going to gather supplies and head back to my place."
We could have stayed inside the grocery store but as the situation was still vague there was no military base or missile silos nearby and with seemingly everyone except the two of us gone we only stay together and be in a familiar set up.

"I don't have anything." I said curtly beginning to just get angry with him. "Does it look like I have anything Mr. Isaac! I'm cold, I'm scared and I'm alone. What could I possibly have!" Looking away I pulled at the restraints trying to get comfortable. Looking up at him I glared slightly. "And how do I know you wont kill me the moment you get me back to your place huh? How can I trust you? You're the one that tied me up put a gun in my face and is now telling me what to do." I said feeling lost and rather helpless.

"If I wanted to kill you," I said rather matter of factly, "I would have not bothered arresting you." Sounds cold but it was the truth but when she first appeared to me she was not a threat and now that she was subdued she was no longer a threat and therefore I could release her under the condition that she help me and now knowing she had no transportation we had to find a way to gain some wheels for her as well. Wouldn't be much of a problem.
We were in this together and I needed the extra help and a companion, though a total stranger, but I rather have someone stranger than a hostile person to worry about later on and it solidified that there were other people out there waiting to be rescued.
"Okay Kayla, stand up and i'll let you out," saying reaching for my Gerber knife to cut her free.

Sighing I stood slowly, wobbling slightly not having my hands to help me. Turning I presented my back to him. Once my hands were free I stretched for a moment rubbing my wrists. "Where are you from. " I said softly as I tried to get myself oriented again. "So now what..." I said finally turning towards him and crossing my arms. Looking up at him I felt dwarfed. I was only 5'1 and it showed standing next to someone taller. "Do you have any idea what might have happened?"
Turning around I began to walk figuring we would begin to look for supplies though I was looking for something else first. I knew this store well. We would need a bag and I knew exactly what to grab.

"I know as much as you do" I said honestly pocketing my knife, "Three days ago there was a series of explosions and I stayed inside my basement until now. I have place towards the outskirts of town. You can come with me. It will be safer than on your own, but you have to help gather supplies, okay?"
She was small, much smaller than me, pretty looking but i had to stay focused on my mission to get supplies and there was much I needed to get and with Kayla that would help me greatly and there was a small gun shop down the street that would most likely ransacked but still could not pass up some extra ammunition, "Kayla, what parts of town have you been through up to here?" Her knowledge would prevent me from going over already covered ground.

Grabbing one of the sting and cloth backpacks used for quick travel I handed it to Isaac before grabbing my own. "Alright, what kind of supplies?" I asked opening the bag before stretching and beginning to walk the isle grabbing bottles of water. "I cam down main street which is towards the west." I said looking over my shoulder at him. "There was no one. At least I didn't see anyone. Everything was quiet." Grabbing another bottle of water I began to look around. "Do you think anyone else survived?" I asked quietly.
Glancing at his shotgun I shifted. It made me nervous. I was never comfortable with guns having never seen one besides on police. My family was never into the whole gun scene. Sighing I looked back at the isles trying to keep focus.

"If we survived then there have to be others" I replied as we took up backpacks and began stuffing them. As we went I told Kayla to take up canned foods as the fresh stuff would have spoiled already with no power and we needed to find another bicycle.
I was hopeful now that there was someone else, perhaps we could get a group together and we were stuffing as much stuff as we could get and told my new companion that there was my bicycle outside. It was not a Humvee that I would have given my left nut to obtain to haul more supplies and it was not good for my image for a strong man to be on a bicycle, but it was all I had unless we can get one of the vehicles outside to work and many of them were shot up in a intense firefight.

Looking at him I nodded. "There's a bike shop down the street where I can grab another bike." I said softly grabbing some baked beans and other canned food I could. "Hopefully we can find others. It would be nice to have more people." I said quietly before turning to him. He was handsome and something about him made me feel at ease when I wasn't on the other end of his shotgun.
Taking a deep breath I crossed my arms, the backpack now on my back. "Promise me you wont leave me behind." I said softly. "I don't exactly have experience in the whole survivor thing. Obviously you do with the shot gun and the knife thing."

"Yeah, well, i was in the Army," it stung me rather harshly when I said "was" in the Army, "Do you know how to handle a firearm?" It would be essential that Kayla understood how to handle one not only for hunting but also for self protection. The next person we met might not be so easily accepting of us. A bicycle would be better and we needed to have some more supplies. Going around together and stuffing as much as we could I kept the shotgun close but did not fork over my pistol over to her just yet as we prepared to leave the grocery store.
Georgetown did not have much to offer to begin with but it did have the essentials we needed and once we were done here I told Kayla, "Once we're done here and then the bike shop we're heading East to my place and hold up there. It's not the biggest place in the world but it has a basment and is better than nothing," with a slight smile on my lips to assure her I was not up to an tomfoolery.

"That explains the clean cut." I murmured before running my fingers down the front of my shirt smoothing the fabric. "N..no, I don't. I've never even seen one up close. My parents didn't really like the idea of firearms and I'm a journalist I don't exactly need firearms on a regular basis." I said before grabbing one more can of soup before nodding. "This should be good don't you think?"
After a moment I walked with him holding the strings on the back pack. "If I could find a schwin that would be great." I mumbled to myself. My father had owned the old bikeshop in town before finally selling it when I was in highschool.

Hearing her retort I scoffed lightly then replied, "I'm not sure if they'll have a schwin, but we'll find out," I said moving to the front of the store. Stepping out cautiously looking at my surroundings and motioning for Kayla to come out and taking the bicycle from its hiding place I began pushing it heading towards the bike shop.
"A schwin?" asking not knowing what a schwin was and she explained it was a type of bicycle different than my mountain bike. Our backs were burdoned by the weight of our supplies that I told Kayla to place her backpack on the metal wire tray over the rear wheel to ease her shoulders as I could bear the weight for awhile.
going down the right side of the road, on the sidewalk, slowly I kept up a constant watch on our surroundings. At least 3,000 people in this town and only two people survived and worse, no bodies so we could understand how they died.

Rubbing my arms I took my time explaining that Schwin was one of the oldest and reliable bikes though I would settle for anything if it meant not being left behind. Everything was quiet and it scared me. This town was never quiet it always seemed as though at least ten people were bustling around at any time of day if not more. Running my fingers through my short hair I tried to keep calm. He was right. There had to be more people there just had to be.
Hearing a footstep behind us I stopped grabbing Isaacs arm and turning quickly. "Did you here that?" I asked. We were a few paces away from the bikeshop so if he ran we could make it but my heart stopped as I saw a shadow vanish down an ally. Grabbing my chest I tried to will myself to breath again. "W...what was that?" Shivering I never let go of his arm feeling as though if I let go I would be standing there alone. It was all so unreal.
