I got an idea. Chesire and The Golden Light face each other, and Widow joins in on the fight. Ten, when the cops come, Chesire evaporates elsewhere, and Light runs back to his place, and Widow goes wherever she goes. Whatcha say?

Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz)
Race: Green Martian
Earth Alias: John Jones, police detective
Age: ???
Planet of Origin: Ma'aleca'andra (Mars)

The Martian culture was far advanced thousands of years before humans became the dominant species on Earth. The Martians, both Green and White, relied on their extraordinary telepathic powers to advance their society. Unfortunately, this advancement resulted in the White Martians becoming warlike and conquering, whereas the Green turned to philosophy, logic, and the rule of law. They created the Manhunters: an order of police officers whose job it was to enforce the laws of Ma'aleca'andra planetside as well as in their colonies.

One such Manhunter was J'onn J'onzz. He was married to M'yria'h and had a daughter named K'hym. He also had a brother called Ma'alefa'ak.

Ma'alefa'ak came to despise the Green Martians and everything they stood for with their self-righteous cause and adherence to beliefs of justice and peace. He aided the White Martians in engineering a psychic virus that was released as a plague called H'ronmeer's Curse. The unfortunate result was the entire Martian civilization was consumed by this plague of fire except for J'onn, who managed at the last moment to disconnect himself from the psychic bond shared with the rest of his kind. His wife and child, however, died in front of him, consumed by fire.

J'onn wandered the galaxy for a while, finally returning to Mars where he found the civilization in ruins and consumed by a planet that had become a great wasteland.

On Earth, during the 1960s, Dr. Saul Erdel was experimenting with a teleportation device. The device, when activated, not only ripped through space but time as well. It pulled J'onn J'onzz from his desolate wasteland of Mars to Earth. J'onn assumed the identity of John Jones, a police detective.

Flight (super speed/strength)

Weakness to fire.

J'onn, because of his knowledge of crime fighting, expertise in tactics, and his general experiences coming from centuries of battling evil is often looked upon as an advisor, counselor, and mentor to others.

Guys, I am thinking about this thread story be in parts, and in each part there is a new villain. So, if we do it this way, than in part two, Chesire won't be the villain, it will be a new person. Tell me what you guys think

You don't have to leave the threw AmenRa, we understand. And by the way Thomas, part two isn't for a long time. Not for at least several months. Just, after the eventual defeat of Chesire, we introduce a new villain. Chesire will be with us for a while, hopefully he will be in part two as well, teaming up with the new bad guy. But like I said, that isn't for a while.

This is what I thought. He gets caught, the second villain comes, frees him, and they work together to bring down the heroes. You can play both villains ifyu want Thomas. I already have a villain idea, so i can play the second villain instead of you Thomas. Tell me what you think.

I can play a hero or a villain, or even someone that is unsure as to what their future holds. Perhaps a villain that just can't seem to be as bad as others wish. Or a hero that just can't help causing trouble and mischief along the way.

I had an idea for a character, perhaps a super-mobsters daughter. I've changed it a bit to suit this RP more.

Her father was a super-villian, and she was born out of a forced pregnancy. Her mother tried to run away with the newborn with the assistance of several super-heroes. However, her father stopped them, and her mother was killed. Stephanie was raised as any normal child would be, but was constantly watched by her father. She follows in his footsteps, but sometimes doubts his methods. It was only after her powers manifested that she was told about her fathers plan to have her become heir to his throne.

Her powers are similar to that of a Gravity Warrior. She can manipulate how gravity effects herself, people around her and objects. Due to this she can also change how quick or slow people move, including herself. As such, she uses duel swords combined with increased speed to do damage. Another reason why her father was such a good super-villian is due to his ability to steal the life from his opponents by being in close vicinity. This also adds to his regenerative abilities.

She has also inherited this characteristic.

Her father has yet to tell her how her mother died. During her escape, they were in a car accident, and Stephanie sucked the life from her mother in order to repair significant injuries.

It needs some work, but I think its pretty cool.

Think of John Carter and how he could act due to the different gravity compared to earths.

Okay Dormant, I got an idea for your character. The superhero Black Widow and the cop are dating, as you know, and my character has a crush on a girl. Now, I understand if you don't like the idea, but here it is. My character met you one day or something, and the became friends, and he develops a crush for your character, unaware of her abilities and her background. What do you think?

That could be cool, especially if she is trying to flush out possible supers for her father to either use, or eradicate. To reduce future trouble in his affairs. Would she know of your abilities somehow? Or suspect

It could be she figured it out, but he doesn't know. Then, she could use him for her father or what not. It would make the thread more interesting. But I have two question. One, can she give back life she took? And two, if the persons life energy she took from can also absorb energy, wold she first absorb the energy absorbed by her target, and then take the life, or just take the life? Just want everyone to be clear.

I believe it would be a one way energy path, just so its not too over powered. Basically her body naturally wants to steal life (energy to kick start cell regeneration) to heal itself, and depending on her wounds depends on how much control she has.

For instance, a small scratch isn't danger level, so she could control if she took energy from people.

But, in the case of her mothers death, she had no control over how much she took. It was out of her control.

In the case of your character, think of it more as the total energy the vessel (the character) holds at the time she begins taking energy. If its a big person with more energy, she can take more. A small mouse on the other hands is hardly worth the effort.

He could be like a solar battery for her, maybe spending a night beside him is better than a good weeks worth of normal sleep, because she is energized by his presence. How's that for a sort of false good love feeling.
