She showed him the titles of the historical fiction books that she’d gotten. “I like to read about the Tudor time period. This author does a really good job describing it. I can get lost in her books.” She said with a grin as they walked down the street, looking in various windows along the way.

Lacy saw a dress that she liked in one window, but the price tag had her eyes widening in shock. There were shoes in another window that she didn’t even bother to look for a price on. She had all that she needed, she kept telling herself.

"Is that what the HBO series is based on?" Asking about the books. I have not see the series but knew it garnered critical acclaim.

The eyes always give away the most, the wa she looked at the dress and those shoes. The price tag was indeed high, but something I could afford, but again, I did not want to be flaunting my money. Perhaps that would be an excellent present for her birthday or christmas along with the shoes, but that would have to take some wrangling or sneak some questions to find out about her sizes and then have it purchased. Wow, it was going fast. Already dresses and shoes. What will be next? Jewelry? Hell, we already have a tour, why not?

“No, that’s a different series, but it’s very good as well.” She said as he guided their way down the street to stop in front of a jewelry store.

Lacy sighed as she looked at all the romantic combinations of diamonds and other precious jewels. Her eyes fell on a sapphire bracelet that shone in the light of the display. “Wow, that’s absolutely beautiful!” She said, pointing it out to Daniel as he leaned in next to her. “I can only imagine how much it is.”

"A piece like that hasto cost at least a thousand dollars." Looking at it myself. It was a toss up, the dress and the shoes or the sapphires. But what was I doing worrying about that now? This is the first date. I did no have to make such descisions like this yet. Getting presents like that showed affecton and I just met her! My mind said 'youre going too fast. Don't buy them right now. Just wait awhile.' God, I hope she couldn't hear my mind, arguing myself. The jewelry was nice and polished, "we could in, if you like."

“I can only imagine how much it costs, but it’s beautiful.” She said as Daniel mentioned stepping inside. She laughed and looked at him. “I suppose we can.”

She led the way into the jewelry store, looking around at the different displays in the store. One of the saleswomen offered to let her try a piece on and Lacy looked over her shoulder at Daniel before she smiled and nodded. The woman handed her a beautiful sapphire ring that was set into white gold. It looked beautiful on her hand, but the price tag was much too high. Of course, it never hurt to dream, Lacy thought.

standing beside Lacy as she admired the peace, she was truely happy to have that piece wrapped around her finger. The price was high, but in my mind, I was calculating everything. I couldn't just throw it all out and grab and buy everything, it would seem to forceful and perhaps she would think I was buying her affection. That wasn't it at all. She was nice, but I didn't think that just yet I loved her. This was the first date but it was budding, perhaps, this was going to be good as Lacy looked and smiled at the sapphires and felt the cold metal around her finger. She was as happy as mother was when father bought her their wedding rings again. Their old ones were in a small box in their closet. They were simple gold bands because they did not have alot to start out with, but the new ones where almost as elegent as the one Lacy wore with 3ct diamonds.

"It's beautiful" commenting honestly.

“It is beautiful.” She agreed with Daniel before she slipped the ring off and handed it back to the lady, thanking her for letting her try it on.

“I love sapphires. I think that they’re color and beauty is unmatched.” She said as she turned back to Daniel and took his arm again, thanking him for taking her into the store.

Back out on the street, she leaned her head on his shoulder, sighing deeply as she enjoyed simply walking down the street and taking in the sights and sounds of the city with him. Before she knew it they were making their way back to the café where their evening would probably end. Standing in front of the parking lot, she gave him a shy smile.

“I had a really good time tonight. And we’re on for tomorrow, right?” She asked, nervously working up her courage to kiss him again.

"Of course" smiling, "I had a terrific time, Lacy."

Looking down at her my mind said for me to kiss her once again and this time truely mean it, not a touch touch on the lips but a real one, give her lips and see if you can touch her tongue with yours! No, that was too much. My mind was a mess and looking at her and keeping up my smile I leaned in and kissed her lips and slightly turned my head to the left and gave her a real kiss to the lips to show how much affection I had building up inside.

Lacy sighed softly as she felt his lips against hers, a real kiss this time that made her toes curl. She reached up and gently touched his cheek with her fingers, her lips opening slightly to allow him access to even more.

Mmmm, savoring the flavor. There was still the essence of coffee and soup in her mouth but the way she exhaled into her and those fingers touching his cheek, he knew he had to do more. perhaps it was a bit much, but damn it there was no more second guessing and slightly opening his mouth alittle more the tip of his tongue slowly slid out and with a gentle wipe went over her bottom lip before quickly withdrawaling it and his body inched closer until there was just a sliver of light between them.

It was amazing to have a warm body in his hands once again. It was all forgotten, the misery of loneliness, the frequent masturbations, the being alone inside of a empty house for weeks on end and not hearing another real voice all that time, it was finally over.

“How about you drive? We can come back for my car later.” She said, knowing that it was a pretty safe part of town to leave her vehicle unattended.

This was turning into a glorious evening, even though sex was still not on my mind but it was becoming a possibility as we turned and began the slow walk to our vehicles. Nodding lightly, it was, but also because she was sexy in that uniform the first time I saw her on her pictures and in real life and as she locked her car and walked over to mine I opened and held the door open for her. “Wow. You have a really nice car!” She said as she handed him her bag and uniform, smiling at him as he stowed them in the trunk. “It sure beats my old hunk of junk.”

She slid into the passenger seat and sighed at the way the soft leather caressed her skin. She always had a thing for a guy with a nice car. At least Daniel had a nice personality and a handsome face to go along with it. That was always a bonus.

"Why thank you" I said closing the passenger door once she tucked her legs inside and popped the trunk and stowed her belongings inside and went to the driver's seat. Hoping in and starting up the powerful, smooth engine I did not step on the accelerator yet to sow off how many horses were under the hoo, but easing out of the parking lot and moving towards the street I looked both ways and saw Lacy relaxed in the seat and that daisy still on her crown and I couldn't help but smile still as we moved out. The road was relatively clear and after going through an internet I stepped on the gas a little and the gas flowed through the engine and it came alive and we went up to fifty miles an hour and it pushed me into my chair.

“If you get pulled over, I’m not getting you out of the ticket.” Lacy said over the roar of the motor, her back pressing into the seat as he sped up. She laughed and smiled at his carefree attitude once the nerves had all passed.

She kept looking at him out of the corner of her eye, working up the courage to ask him something. She didn’t know if she really should, if it was too presumptuous of her. She warred with herself for a moment before she finally decided just to go for it.

“Daniel, if we go back to your house and…well, you know…” She blushed at her words, not knowing if she was able to continue. “Do you have…well…do you have…protection?”

Easing off the accelorator and coasting to forty mph my eyes looked back at her, "Yes, I do." I really did. There were a few condoms that my friends had left behind at my plce and hung onto them, just in case.
