Yes. They do. I can only visit. What drove me there is wanting to find out if there was any way to change the ending. I couldn't. But I did get a hack for it and a lot of funny.

I also argued with the writer of the game and got his permission to use the hack, so I consider it to be legitimate content now.

I also managed to play a purely evil game and think I got every evil possible thing done. The only main drawback to being evil was not being able to buy herbs from the Daelish and thus not having the jillion potions available when needed on higher difficulty levels. Playing the game on hard setting is bloody well hard. An ice patch on the ground will get you dead from concussion. It's nasty.

Never got into mmos because I refuse to pay a monthly fee on top of the price of the game to play it.

As hobbies go it's incredibly cheap.

Other hobbies I have like actually doing crafts...sewing, basket weaving, soapmaking, cooking...cost a lot more.

I've found that MMO's are the most cost-effective vice about.

Looking at it that way doesn't seem so bad. I just don't play enough to justify the cost. Hell i probably throw upwards of a 1000 dollars at my hobby every year, but it involves a lot of travel.

I work at my computer, so I'm stuck here at least 40 hours a week. Right now I'm only paying for EQ2, but I've been playing that on and off since 2005. I wander from game to game. When Warcraft gets a new expansion I'll cancel EQ2 and go play there for a bit.

So at that rate I get to play at work and even if I only play work hours to while away the time when I have to sit here, it's $0.10 an hour. I can do that. As I've said, I can even consider it a business expense. And it's nice to gather a salary while questing.

What's your hobby?

Haven't met the sexy elf yet. Holding out. But he's awfully cute. There's no sense of "camp" here, I can't just come right out and come on to the guy in front of everyone. Need a tent or something. I feel all exposed.

Reenactor. Mostly civil war but I do some cowboy stuff too. Something about cannonfire and camp cooking calls out to men.

So instead of yelling "2 Magic, 2 Magic, 2 Magic" you shout "lead ball injury with concomitant infection and dysentery!"

Well, at least it's more realistic. Whatever works for you. That would likely turn expensive for me. I'd have to sew my own costume and develop a backstory, intricate makeup, eyepatch...and then someone would tell me that women weren't in the army but I could be a camp follower and I'd hang my head and take my toys home.

Actually making your uniform is a lot cheaper then buying one. We have a lot of women un uniform in the cavlary and artillery. Just make sure you're able to hide your...*ahem* assets and you're good to go. Of course there are non military reenactors too.

Hey I get to shoot a cannon. What's cooler then that?

I need to get my playstation fixed or build a computer. I miss my games.

Will there be a new class? I've got full rosters in both realms, horde and alliance, on roleplay servers, Feathermoon and Argent Dawn.

Will there be new crafts? *hopeful hopping up and down*

A new shiny panda with a new shiny craft and a new shiny class would be very much welcome.

Oh, thank you! Yes, I'd like to know, without a character slot that will make me very unhappy. I've played since roundabout Beta and I don't want to think of deleting a character. Yeah, I could make a death knight on a new server to make quick cash, but that would suck. Tried that once to join a friend's guild and it just turns out I'm spoiled and I'm not interested really in doing the newbie thing for the 19th time on my own without perks. I don't want to give up upgraded guilds and full crafter and transport services because Blizzard's being a weenie.

I've always really loved that game. Sometimes I burn out and there will just be a day when I've ground something ridiculous out like...Kal'uak faction for months to get myself a really nice fishing pole and then the day I get it, the last thing I want to do in this world is fish with it after months of dailies. I'll leave for a few months and then come back when there's something new to play with.

Yeah, this is the one game I always return to, but I think I am burned out a bit and even lost. Don't mind starting over on a new server if there is a reason to do so, like friends gonna be there to help me out if need be, but would like to just find some fun things to do with the high levels I already have! I also know what you mean about not deleting a character, if there are no new slots I have to figure out what to do! I do have some lower level ones, but that would still mean I have to sell and/or mail all there stuff to one of my other characters and that is almost as big a pain as starting over!

Yup. I'd just blame Blizzard. I'd say they can't be that stupid but...I've learned.

EQII has a nice boutique system where you can buy things with cash...and one of those things is character slots. So on one account I have 25 chars. The convenience with having everybody on one account and therefore guild and having server perks... priceless.

Do you have a fairy?? I tried that for a short time, but it just didn't hold my interest.

I admit to having about 18 Fae/Arasai. I love wings! Racial ability of glide makes navigation easier. But really, I just love the wings. My other favorite thing that reduces burnout...you can mentor (match someone else's level) or go to a Chronomage and pay some cash and status to temporarily lower your level. So that means at level 90, you can go back to level 5 and run around mutilating EVERYTHING, pick up quests on that level and get experience for them. Now they have flying mounts so you can zoom through it all. It's a lot less linear. They have housing also and I just love the decorating aspect, so I'm so well set up there, every time I go to another game I wander back. Just recently spent some time on Forsaken World and that was fun too. Free game, but it's a lot more pressured. Guilds cost so much in upkeep of gamer time and coin that you have to play every day to maintain it. But on EQII it's much more sane. If you're not using it, you don't need to pay for it. So housing rent is only paid on a guild house if you're using it and you can suspend your account for years and come back with everything as you left it.

I used to love Dark Age of Camelot, but rent was the same concept, have to do the upkeep and log in often or you'll get everything repossessed.
