Need help finishing last third of a story

Hello,

So as some may remember, a couple years ago, I was really pushing for someone to write, with me or for me, a story based on the comic strips (NOT the movie) of Dick Tracy.

Through the months, with the input of me and one other writer, over half a story has been actually written out. But the other writer has dropped off the face of the earth, and I'm kind of worn out from the process. Which is why I'm asking if there's a writer out there who's willing to help complete the story. I can send a file of what's already written to anyone who is interested but wants to see the goods first.

It takes place later in Dick Tracy canon, with him and Tess Trueheart married and with a son (not Junior). The basic premise of the story based off a story in a anthology novel based on the strip: a young criminal, seeking to avenge his criminal girlfriend's death (died trying to escape), quietly breaks into the empty Tracy household, intending to ambush the detective when he comes home. Tess arrives home first, and so the criminal takes her captive, intending to use her as a hostage against Tracy.

In my idea's reality, the young criminal, through the haze of revenge, finds attraction in Tess' willingness to protect her husband, a kind of love he has not experienced before---as well as to her physical beauty. And since has not gotten laid since his girlfriend's death, he convinces himself to switch his plan to one of poetic justice: since Dick Tracy took away his woman, it's only fair if Tess is given to him as means of reparation. He then threatens to get the Tracy son involved, and go through with his plan to ambush Dick, putting them all in danger, unless Tess gives herself to him. And she does, right there in the house...and throwing in a twist of cuckoldry, she enjoys it (since Dick Tracy is always away fighting crime, bedroom life is non-existant, and she feels neglected).

I'm fascinated by the cuckold possibilities here. If you'd like to send it to me, I might be interested. I will warn in advance that if there's a great deal of violence, I probably won't be interested.

What kind of help? Co-writing or an idea where to go from there?

My apologies. I remember Mothbite and I as being more in sync than we actually were. That said, the portion of the story that is written is written well, for those who might be interested.

What about RodSamson42? I recall reading a story of his that had some similar feels to this idea.
