I've long suspected as much, but never really expected to hear admission of this. Moderators do in fact read your private messages, and they are smitten with using them as the brunt of their jokes. There is no privacy, and there is no integrity on the part of moderators. Anything said here is as good as 'AttackWatch' material.

Just ask for a refund.

Send a PM to semen4her with full details about your complaint and I promise you that it will be dealt with accordingly.
 
Some of them are interesting, but after the 678th "hey u wanna chat?" it's just not worth the time.

OP, the reason people are making fun of you is that EVERYONE knows that about Lit. There's a website that's supposed to be only for mods like semen4her where they post the best ones they see each day. Enough old-timers know the URL that half of us bounce back and forth between Lit proper and the "secret" Lit PM site all day long, to see what the people we're talking to are saying privately.

The "First PMs from Newbie Members thread," which--mods, take note--I just checked and you CANNOT find by Googling, is especially great. There have occasionally been some threads here where people post the PMs from there, but they get removed pretty quickly.

Almost every long-time member knows about the site. As you're seeing, we can still be unkind to newbies who don't know about it.
 
Has anyone claimed Mike Yates in the Whoisit pool? If not, it's mine.
