Contemplating a new thread.
I miss the old supers threads I used to post in back in the day and I am considering an alternate Earth story in the Marvel universe.
Got an interesting taking on Spiderman? Cool. Wanna play Iron man as Antonia Maria Stark? Rock it like you stole it. I have a pair of ideas myself. One is a baddie and the other is a "reformed" baddie.
I am also open to storyline direction or maybe just running a free form sort of thing. Hell, I'll be honest if this idea appeals to you and you have a cool vision for it I'm more than willing to just be a player for it.
Anyone else interested?

I have a Young Justice RP I am trying to get off the ground. As for Marvel, one of my ideas had everything with a magical twist. Like, Spidey first comes across Venom in Stephen Strange's lab. Venom is actually a smoke demon that Strange trapped centuries ago and he has turned into a black slime substance. He jumps from Spidey to Eddie Brock and then ultimately regains his smoke demon form and then can possess people like in Supernatural. I also had Peter being attacked and turned by a spider demon vampire creature.

Miss Stephanie Soprana
Her father was a super-villian, and she was born out of a forced pregnancy. Her mother managed to run away with the newborn with the assistance of several super-heroes. Stephanie was raised as any normal child would be, but was constantly watched by a guardian. It was only after her powers manifested that she was told about her conception, and her father. Apart from that she grew up like any normal teenager.
Her powers are similar to that of a Gravity Warrior. She can manipulate how gravity effects herself, people around her and objects. Due to this she can also change how quick or slow people move, including herself. As such, she uses duel swords combined with increased speed to do damage. Another reason why her father was such a good super-villian is due to his ability to steal the life from his opponents by being in close vicinity. This also adds to his regenerative abilities.
She has also inherited this characteristic. And almost hurt her mother at one point after being in a car accident and getting injured badly.
However, for all goods there must be something bad.
During combat, she can be blinded by her fathers hatred, or by her want to bring honor back to her family by fighting for those who helped protect her. She also inherited her mothers love and compassion, and will sometimes find it difficult to not think that people can and will change.
It needs some work, but I think its pretty cool.
Think of John Carter and how he could act due to the different gravity compared to earths.

I've had like three Marvel games in the past, including one where the story is set in a space age future setting, but either no one joins or those that do tend to stop posting and the board always dies. That goes for pretty much every RP I've ever done, so I have retired from RPing, but I would love to read along if anyone creates this thread.
