She curled closer snuggling into his calming embrace with a smile. Her eyes slowly opening realizing she is in his arms and leaping up placing acceptable distance between them.
What... what happened?
Her heart was racing as she stared at him struggling for answers of her own

"Let's not try and think about answers just now. I'm thinking if we just get back to our routine and let ourselves get back to normal we can start reflecting on what is happening." He kissed her forehead and tried to make her feel better. The sense of confusion wasn't hers alone.

Yeah... back to work... thats what I need to do.
Work was her sanity anything that was not related to work never set well with her. She quickly moved to find her paperwork and jotting down a few things from her dreams she then went back to researching.

He walked towards her and offered "Can I get you anything?" He offered as she was working. He started to relax more than usual. He wasn't acting his normal military self around her any more. It was more friendly, welcoming.

He checked the perimeter and started reading the emails of the reports given to him by all but one of his guards. The one in particular that creeped her out for some reason didn't check in properly with his reports. He sent them, but just not on time. He'll have to talk to him about that.

What the hell was happening to her? She wondered as she worked. Something guided her to study the hieroglyphics carved into the walls of the tomb and into the sarcophagus. There was something strange about them. Reading them silently she bit her lips seeing that some of them were worn nearly away she tried to translate the best she could without seeing them first hand on the sarcophagus.
Death does not live negate when...
She grumbled about some of the glyphs being too faint to read from pictures.

He noticed the glyphs and something in his mind started to just read them.
Death does not live negate when...
"I should probably mention I just read those hyroglyphs as if it were part of my normal life. I don't have the experience you do. What it talks about --negating death? What's that mean?"

Its... a comfort...
She looked to him with a smile. She was not sure why she was comforted by his presence or his contact with her.
This part here... they nearly are making her a minor Goddess... calling her Daughter of Khonsu born of Sekmet... And ... again parts are worn too faint to read through the picture but they seem to be calling him by an Egyptian name... perhaps an honor bestowed on him by her or by the others for his care of her?

The more I learn about this priestess the more... the more damn questions I have... Its like...
She looked at him her eyes seemed hazy
Its like she is not listening to me
She quickly went back to work as if nothing happened. Reading more and more till she finally drifted to sleep once more.

There appears to be a name for him in Egyptian.... I can't make it out or who gave him the name.
She continued to try to read more of the glyphs
Beyond that... He was of kindred life and heart to her...

They were famililar but a name didn't come to him. It was a wierd name in egyptian. POwerful and commanding.

Her sleep was calm but restless... not nightmares just restless as she slept. Work plaguing her mind as she tried to sleep. Tossing in turning for most of the night till her mind finally calmed some and turned her sleep restful till dawn. Waking with the scent of coffee smiling softly.

DIOGENES.DIOGENES.DIOGENES.
He awoke in the middle of the night and absorbed the name.

She nodded and went to find a coffee mug and getting a cup of coffee and sat back to get her mind set for work. She tried to remember anything from any of her dreams hoping for even a clue about any of it. There were so many new things to sort out and figure it all out.

He escorted her back to the museum and went with her to her office area and research lab.

She got dressed and quickly headed to the car and once at the museum she hurried to the room with the sarcophagus and began intently studying it looking for the glyphs
