When I think about someone in the 'FBI' well a certain kind of image comes to mind. the ole stick up their ass, anal about the rules, and truly no fun to be around.

With a story like this, you have them enter a world that they are not comfortable with. Hell, the male character only performs missionary sex once a month.

And she not only has to deal with Society rules and costumes, but what if she gets a kick out of the freedom? the rush of being so slutty in the line of work, the mix feelings...the having to do "it" for the job and for the first time in her life she feels sexy and powerful?

I remember the X-files having an episode where Scully and Mulder joined a gated community to solve a disappearance. Of course that was in the 'platonic/hands-off' period and Mulder was keen to play their relationship to the full but Scully wasn't having any of that.

Anyway, I could imagine Scully as the stand-offish female part of the team in this story's scenario. And once she lets her hair down ...

The undercover cops get into the swinger lifestyle that they start cheating with their significant other with each other and other people during the stint and continue way after the assignment is done.

Or they get seduced by the lifestyle of swinging that they get sucked into the criminal activities.

Or the woman returns home and she discovers that she's pregnant and it's not her husband's and/or the man kept in touch with some of the women especially with the ones who are possibly carrying his baby. He doesn't tell his girlfriend/fiance/wife about it and ends up fucking them still.

Sometimes, agents have to do things in order to gain the trust of the group; so in this instance, it really might work. This could do well, if carefully crafted.

on a twisted note, I like the idea of a married couple going in as two single people. To gain the trust and such...can you imagine the mental discipline to keep it together while you or your spouse is doing things....or the criminals?
