I think you are right about that. I had a story rejected in Celebrities, because in the book from which the characters were taken, they were 15 and 16 at the time they became lovers. So even though I tried to get around this twice (1st by not mentioning their ages, 2nd by trying to add a note that they were of age), the story was still rejected. Fair enough, I'm not complaining. I wrote two other stories with the main character when he was older, and they were accepted.

Anyway, I totally agree with you on the faulty site policy. Either they have a rule of not allowing rape (as well as underage sex) and they ENFORCE it. Or else they admit that such stories are allowed (and maybe stick them in a separate category). Either is fine with me, but not the hypocrisy that you have pointed to.

The Reason For This Thread:

For any newbies in the crowd, Scouriesworld, aka, Jacqui O. is scouries using an alt. She/he/it is supposed to be the President of A.I.R., a fake readers organization that scouries uses to base his fake contests on. In actuality he is the only one who gets to vote on his fake contest.

The reason for the fake contests is two fold. First of all, it is self promotion of his giant ego. Secondly, Scouries has never won a real contest even though he is the self-proclaimed number one author on Lit. In his mind it is everyone's fault but his. He blames the AH, the site owners, the contests themselves. His ego won't allow it to be his fault for only writing in one category.

But back to Jacqui O. He/she/it is the "Secretery" of the MOST COMMENTED on and the MOST VOTED on story clubs. Both of which are fake lists that scouires made up to associate his name with the top writers on this site. She/he/it is also a secretary that can't spell secretary,

ScouriesWorld, is a fake place that only exists in scouries mind.

And as a last piece of information, according to all of scouries IP addresses, he/she/it does not live in Miami Beach, Florida but in the south of England. Not that, that is a bad thing but it is more lie from the king of lies.

So, remember, the ignore list is your best friend when it comes to him and his alt.

I like whole film noir feel of the comic and the fact it was just a guy. No heat rays out his eyes, no wings. Just a guy. Little training in the orient on how to fight and a chemistry set.

The fact that his partner was his girl friend didn't hurt at all.

Course in the original Golden age they turned the character of 'Sandy' into a young teen boy as well. Called him 'Sandy the Golden Boy.'

Robin must have been getting lonely for his own age group.

Great now I'm wanting to go dig out the rubbermaid full of comic books.

If I could live in one of those fake comic book cities, I'd choose Metropolis, NY or Smallville, Kansas. Probably the latter as it's home to Lana, Lois's cousin, and Supergirl who's Clark's cousin. I also can't really stand all the hustle and bustle in the big cities.

Was Lana Lang actually Lois Lane's cousin? I consider that to be extending coincidence too far., Lex Luthor is also from Smallville.
