Not only is scouries, (notice I didn't capitalize, that was on purpose) a fraud, I believe he is one of the biggest TROLLS here. He is unbelievably jealous of anyone who writes better than himself, (which is just about any writer here) that he 1 bombs every one's stories constantly.

I'm not an expert or anything but I would have thought that the bold abuse is a dead giveaway that something is fishy. Bolding headings and so on is good. Doing almost the whole post in it makes you look like a shifty double-glazing salesman.

You can because you know him but the newbies don't.

He has scared several newbies away with his bullshit, not to mention his nasty comments on their stories. So giving them a warning is not bashing him.

Posting on this thread and keeping it above his Fake contest thread is better than posting on his Fake contest thread. It gives him less posts on his thread to brag about.

I used to think that too, since I am not fooled by him, until one day I read a post from a new author saying they would like to enter a contest, but believed they couldn't because of some BS scouries had said. Since then, I have joined the posse cautioning people to pay him no mind.

Many of us can ignore him, because we are familiar with him, but this is not the case with everybody.

Personally I am overwhelmed to see posts by such stalwart authors as TX Rad and Boxlicker!

Readers, between these two authors they are on close to 2000 LEGITIMATE favorites pages!

We're also seeing some very respectable posters as well such as Estragon and Ms. Omega!

And looking through our initial posts it appears we have already begun helping people to become aware of this blight on Literotica!

At the risk of joining in on the bashing (seriously, this forum has way too much of that lately), it is true that Scouries and his BS can confuse new visitors to this site. When I first started using the boards about a year & a half ago, I was slightly confused by the stuff he put up. It didn't take me long at all to figure out what was up, but still, it wasn't immediately clear that it was just one very loud and active guy.

I'm happy to keep a person on ignore if they annoy me, but the stuff he puts out goes beyond simply expressing his opinions and/or self-promotion. This particular headline is worth keeping on the front page.
