Robin and the twin Princesses... ((Closed for Hidden_Jewel & Kohana_Xavior19))

Robin woke up by the scent of roast beef and the sounds of voices, but he couldn’t quite hear what the voices were saying. He sits up still in the fog of sleep and rubbed his gurgling tummy, and though he was just a young boy, he knew that he had to be very careful and remain hidden still. It was still dark and dawn was very near, and when he lifted his head to look around he was still in the camp of his enemies.

Robin was away with some of his friends playing make believe Knights, when the castle of his uncle the King was attacked. Robin and some of the boys were too scared to cross the fields to get back into the castle, and all of them tried to find a place where to hide. Robin managed to get under a cart and hide under it till he could escape.

When the sun came up Robin was able to see the castle, but what he saw in front made him scream. Robing saw heads stuck on very tall poles and two of them were the king and Queen’s heads, the 14 year old Prince his cousin and the 12 year old Princess, together with every member of the royal families including his own parents.

Robin knew it was the end for him as well when two soldiers were looking at him as he stood looking at the end of his family. Robin froze on the spot not knowing what to do, and rubbed his stomach when it started to gurgle from hunger. “What’s wrong with you boy, are you hungry?” one of them asked. Robin was no dummy and he knew then that the soldiers didn’t know who he was. “Yes I am starving he told them and tried to relax. I haven’t eating in two days” he replied.

“Go and get some food then over there” one of the soldier said pointing in the direction of the burning pit. “Thank you” he said to the soldiers and walked away to where the beef was still turning over the fire. Robin knew that for him to be safe was to stay with this army, and one day when he was ready he would avenge the death of his entire Royal family.

Robin was 10 years old at that time and for the next few years he trained for hours each day. The army was mostly comprised of Mercenary for hire, and after two weeks they all marched again, and for the next few years they wandering from one war to the next. Alex and Martin did most of the teaching. Robing was very adept with a swords and the axe, and by the time he was 15 Robin grew to six ft. and could beat most of the men in camp.

Robin was in his early 20 when the all returned to his lands, and they had been there a month when he noticed two beautiful maidens that looked alike and were watching the men sparring. He asked Martin about the two and he said they were the twins Princesses. He couldn’t help notice how beautiful they were, and he wondered why they would want to watch men beating each other.

Robin made a point not to look their way while training, but he always looked when he was sure they wouldn’t notice him looking. Robin made plans for them, and if things went according to his plans, they would get the surprise of their lives, but for now he would train as hard as he could and never forget they were his enemies. Still he couldn’t stop from thinking of them both.

Robins had become the man to beat now but every one that tried only lasted a few minutes. He was training with Alex this day and he noticed Alex wasn’t himself. “What’s bugging you today” he asked and stopped their training. “Robin we never told you this, but we came back here to collect the payment for service rendered to the King.

These men are all Mercenaries, and they joined the Kings only for the money, and made no Pledge of Fealty once they won the battle. The money has been paid in small amount, and without their money they can support their families. We are short of funds Robin and we need it, and the men are getting restless that the King might not pay us. Robing thought for a moment while looking at Alex.

“Alex I might have the solution to this problem. I like to talk to you and Martin and all the men you trust the most. We’ll meet in one of the tent and I’ll tell you my plan, and with both Alex and Martin being Captains now, they had all the saying within their men. Robin laid out a plan where they could get their money, but never told them that he was the only heir to the Throne left alive.

Both Alex and Martin knew this was their only way to stop being Mercenaries and become an army, and with Robin plan they could do it. That night they all came together and agree with Robins plan, and within 10 days the plan was to be implemented. Both Alex and Martin placed men inside the castle and the rest would surround the castle, and with their men placed inside they would lift the draw bridge and the hidden Mecenaries would storm the castle through the draw bridge.

Marianne, a girl of nineteen with long blond hair and blue eyes, stood over on the sidelines watching Robin, Martin, and Alex train. She was dressed in a purple gown and had her hair up in an elegant style. Silver tiara set with amethysts rested atop her crown. She and her sister were both romantics and, though it was very much frowned upon, would train their preference of a weapon when no one else was around. They trained with each other and against each other. But Marianne had a wild side. She was adventurous. Loved to always explore.

The mercenary men had been here a month when she and her twin noticed the men sparring. Marianne had caught Robin staring more than once at her and her twin and she felt flattered by his stares. She didn't know the men's names but she wondered them and planned to ask soon as she got the chance. From the way Marianne was seeing it, it was like Robin made a point not to look their way while training, but she always saw him look when he figured she and her sister wouldn’t notice him looking. It was a thrill that drove her to watch them every day with her sister.

Robin was training just as hard now as he did while learning, and like many years before the two blonds came to watch them sparring. He couldn’t help wonder why they would spend all this time watching them on not be somewhere were all the women gathered. Robing had only one thing on his mind, not he had two in his mind they were both blonds and they were twins.

They were going to be his chamber slaves after he took over the castle that belonged to him, but for the rest of their family they would suffer the same faith his whole family suffered. He wondered what their name were and how he could tell them apart, and then he thought of a tattoos on their bodies.
Maybe one of these days he would ask them their names just to see if they would tell him.

Alexa took a little bit longer to get out to the training ground that morning as she got tangled up in some reading before she realized the time had passed that her and her sister normally went out to see the men training. Her hair was pulled back into a braid with her tiara that held emerald gems on them sat upon her head. Smoothing out her green dress she made her way and was soon standing next to her sister.

While Alexa was more of a bookworm at times she did enjoy watching the men train as it helped them learn some new techniques to use as they learned their weapons. Moving in next to her sister she smiled taking note of how the men watched them and one in particular watching when he thought they would not notice. She leaned over and whispered to her sister.

"Good afternoon, sorry I am late did I miss anything good?"

Robing had been sparring with both Alex and Martin for the last 15 minutes when one of the twins showed up. He wondered what happen to the other but didn’t let on to either Alex or Martin.

“BY the way Alex, is everything ready and set for the takeover of the castle? I think I’m getting restless with this waiting maybe we should take the blond there, and avoid bloodshed and save the lives of our men,” and no sooner he said that, the other twin showed up. Robin couldn’t stand it any longer and looked at both twins.

“Alex Martin you two keep sparring I’ll be right back.”
He looked at the twins as he walked towards them and he could see they were looking at him. Once he was close enough that he didn’t have to shout he stopped.

“You are the twins Princesses are you not?” He asked as he looked into their eyes. I like to ask if anyone can tell you two apart, do you have distinguishing marks that one could tell one from the other, and what are your names if you don’t mind telling that is.” He asked

To Robin’s eyes they looked as if he was looking in a mirror, and he could never tell them apart. One thing for sure, they were very beautiful and he would enjoy them both as his bed chamber slaves once the castle was his.

Marianne looked over to her sister Alexa as she showed up with a book in hand. She smiled and leaned in halfway towards her as Alexa whispered to her. "Good afternoon. Sorry I'm late, did I miss anything?"
"Hardly, sister dear." She said back to Alexa and then watched as Robin approached them. She kept her posture straight and looked him up and down before looking to her sister.
“You are the twin Princesses' are you not?” He asked as he looked into their blue eyes.
"Indeed..." Marianne began.
"We are." Alexa had finished for her.
"I would like to ask if anyone can tell you two apart."
"Hardly ever. And that's the fun of it." Marianne said.
"Do you have distinguishing marks that one could tell one from the other?" The girls shook their heads. They weren't going to give away how to tell one from the other. Sometimes it was more fun watching people guess and get it wrong. They even made it obvious at times. Marianne had Amethysts in her tiara and Alexa had Emeralds in hers. Although the twins did both silver tiaras set with Ruby gems. They even had a gown of the same style and same color. It was a pretty Sapphire blue gown. "What are your names? If you don’t mind telling that is.” Marianne looked to Alexa at this. They could easily switch names and give him that. Doing that made the game fun too.
"Should we sister dear?" She asked. Knowing Alexa would know what she was talking about.

Hardly ever. And that's the fun of it." One of them said.

For some reason the way one of the twins asked the other if they should give their names, he was sure they would lie to him but he didn’t care about that, at least he knew their names and he could find out later witch name belonged to witch sister.

He smiled at them but his smiled was not as it showed on his lips but at what was in store for them.

"Should we sister dear?" the other sister said.

“Why do I have that feeling that you’re not about to tell me your real name.” he said and smiled at them both as he looked from one to the other.

He could see they were thinking and he also noted something else about them, but kept it to himself, and the next time he’ll put it to the test.
Robin stood waiting to hear their names.

Alexa nodded to her sister and smiled quite sweet and innocently. She however had no intention of telling him about anything distinguishing about them that would help him tell them apart. They enjoyed their games as much as anyone else although they did get into quite a bit of trouble because of them over the years. Her blue orbs met Robin's as she spoke her name.

"I'm Marianne and this is Alexa. And why would not tell you our names. We have no reason not to tell you. Is there some reason we should not have?"

She said it so calmly that anyone around that knew the truth would have believed her too. She after all did tell him their correct names just not the truth on which one belonged to which girl. A soft smile crept over her lips as she continued to watch him not looking at her sister so they would not give away what she did.

Soon as Alexa nodded to her, she looked away and looked to Robin with her. "I'm Marianne," the blond sister in the emerald gown said. Pointing to herself. "And this is Alexa." Said blond motioned to the sister in the purple gown. That's when both twins spoke. Their voices and tones matching. It would be hard to tell them apart when they did this.
"And why would we not tell you our names? We have no reason not to tell you. Is there some reason we should not have?" The girls asked. Keeping their eyes on Robin. Posture straight and voice perfectly calm and normal.

One of the blonds spoke and she said she "I'm Marianne," but Robing had his doubts, though the name could be real enough.
And this is "And this is Alexa."she said.

Robin now had two names and he had to find out which name belonged to which blond. The names could be easily checked out; matching the name with the right blond was hard. The other thing was that they complied a little too quickly to his liking.

"And why would we not tell you our names? We have no reason not to tell you. Is there some reason we should not have?"

“Sorry not really I didn’t think you would be this gracious to grace a mare mercenary by giving him your name.

"Well we see no reason not to be gracious with you. You have done nothing to deserve us not to be."

Alexa smiled softly knowing that even if he tried most would not give up their little secret to him or to anyone in his party. Most in the village had been on the receiving end of their little fun at one time or another.

Marianne listened to her sister and Robin speak for a moment. He could try all he wanted to tell them apart. They would just style their hair the same, wear their Ruby set tiaras, and the blue gown. Or, if they really wanted to fuck with people, they could switch names for a day, switch personalities, habits, clothes...tiaras....They were twins. They knew everything about each other. Down to the last detail. Hence why they played their game. Peoples reactions and attempts to guess was amusing and fun. Until they tried it on their parents...

Mother being mother had learned to tell them about by the way either of them fidgeted or would ask a question only the real one would know. And when Marianne tried to be Alexa in front of mother, she would ask a question about a book only Alexa would have read. It made Marianne frustrated. Oh but trying it on her father was worse. Neither girl dared it after their last punishment from him. "You have done nothing to deserve us not to be." She heard Alexa say.
"Until you have given us a reason not to be gracious towards you, what you see is what you get." Marianne said smiling.

Robing only wanted their names, and once he had them he knew how he could tell them apart. In his bed chamber they would be almost naked all the time, as they would be wearing see through material, their bodies were looked very beautiful with a dress on and completely naked would spoil their beauty.

“ I thank you lovely ladies and I now better get back to training, one never knows when he needs to be sharp with sword.” He said and bowed slightly before he walked back to where Alex and Martin had finished sparring.

OOC: Attention readers! Our lovely Hidden_Jewel will be MIA for a while due to personal reasons. We have discussed what is going to happen to her character and we have decided that Alexa is gonna be away visiting lady friends while Marianne pretends to be Alexa around Robin. This is all! Enjoy!

After speaking to Robin, the sisters walked away giggling and speaking silently to each other. At dinner it had been discovered that Alexa was going to be going away for a while to visit some of their old friends in the Northren kingdoms. Ladies who had come to visit whenever they were in town. Knowing she would miss her sister greatly, Marianne saw her sister off and stood there watching her and her escorts leave till they were no longer in sight before turning and going inside. She was rather sad the rest the evening but she took her comfort that night in sleeping inside Alexa's room that night. And was thought to be a peaceful, normal night....was sadly about to become something that Marianne had never expected.

That night Robin together with Martin and Alex were getting ready to take over the castle and every man was now at the ready with the signal is set for 2 am after the night call would come to announce that all was quite. Every second in command would move his men to their posts at 2 am the drawbridge would come down.

The 2 am call came on time, Robin and his men were the first one to enter and led his men to the Kings chamber. The King never knew that the guards at the doors were not his, and he was taken along with his Queen and next came the twins.

Most of the battle was fought in the court yard and outside of the castle, Most of the castle staff were the same people that had worked for his Uncle the king, and later was informed that the kitchen stuff drugged most of the food that as consumed at dinner time.

Robing gave the order that the royal family was to be brought into the main hall.

By the time the 2am call had come, Marianne had started to feel sick to her stomach. She had been outside on her sister's balcony loosing her dinner when the noise began. In her pale shaky haze, she looked out towards the court yard and saw the fighting. She wiped the back of her neck and hurried back inside. Since she was in her sister's room, all she could do was dress in her clothes. Stripping of the purple night dress she had on, she slipped into one of Alexa's emerald green gowns and found her sister's rubied circlet. With a quick fix of her hair and putting it up in a bun, she slipped the circlet on and hurried out of the room. Intent to get down to the armory for her weapon. But she would never make it....

The unfriendly invaders at the time, had blocked her off. Cornered her. With struggles and screams, Marianne was taken away to the throne room. AKA the main hall. Thrown to the floor with her parents, Marianne made herself sound like Alexa and called out to her mother. Her mother, in her shaken state, believed she was looking at Alexa and thus called her so. To make her mother feel better, she tells her softly that she had helped her sister Marianne to get away. That Marianne had gotten away and was going to save them somehow with the help of neighboring kingdoms. It seemed to calm her mother down and she believed every word. Her father, the king, was now holding both girls to him. And for that time being, Marianne took comfort in her father's arms.

She was now suddenly glad that the actual Alexa had left earlier that night.

Robin walked into the throne room and sat on the throne. “You Majesty tell me how it feels to be in the position you’re in, I’m not going to ask if you recognise me because you don’t, but if you look every careful I might remind you of someone, better still more than just someone.”

He looked to one of the twins and realised the other was missing and waved to Alex, “Have you seen the other twins” he asked Alex he shook his head. “Send someone to find her and have her brought here.”

Robing turned back to look at King and saw his face had gone white. I see you notice the resemblance so you may as well know I am the nephew that you missed when you butchered my whole family. Now I give you one guess what I am going to do to your family, can you tell me I should start first. I think I’m going start with the first heir and work my way down what you do say?

Marianne watched as Robin walked into the throne room and took a seat on the throne. She felt suddenly hurt and betrayed for the charmer she had been watching lately, had plotted against her. “Your Majesty, tell me how it feels to be in the position you’re in. I’m not going to ask if you recognize me because you don’t, but if you look every careful I might remind you of someone. Better still more than just someone.” Marianne was highly confused by Robin's words.

And then he looked to her and Marianne knew he would take notice of Alexa's absence. “Have you seen the other twin?” He asked. Alex, the one he had wave too, shook his head. “Send someone to find her and have her brought here.” Marianne glared at him and Robin turned his attention back to her family. By now her father had gone tense and looked pale and white. Robin seemed to take pleasure in that and it made Marianne feel sick. "I see you notice the resemblance so you may as well know I am the nephew that you missed when you butchered my whole family."
"Butchered?" Her mother asked. Marianne looked at her mother now. Her mother looked like she was going to be sick. "You told me this kingdom was something you inherited!" She said angrily towards her father. Marianne frowned. Now wasn't the time for their bickering.
"Now I give you one guess what I am going to do to your family. Can you tell me I should start first?" Now it was Marianne's turn to pale. He had to be joking! "I think I’m going start with the first heir and work my way down what you do say?"
"No!" Her father said suddenly clutching her.

Marianne and Alexa may have been twins, but in that moment, Marianne realized that Alexa was technically first heir. Marianne had followed her sister's birth in mere seconds but Alexa still came first! And her parents thought they were holding Alexa! She paled even more. This was not good. "Spare my daughters and my wife. This is not their battle but mine." Her father spoke.
"Father...." Marianne said softly.

“Yes it's you battle and it's all your fault, but you didn’t care when my family begged you to spare the young ones, you didn’t want to spare non-one. You wanted to make sure there were no more heirs to challenge you. Guess what, you missed one Me your worst nightmare.

Robin never thought it would be one of the twins, and he knew he couldn’t kill either of them but he didn’t have to tell the King that. He waved to Martin and he came over and took the Princess and took her away. This was all pre-arranged and Martin would take her to a room with some of the women to guard her.

“Now that we took care of one twin, I guess we’ll have to take of the other but you still have more relative to take care of don’t you?”

“Yes it's your battle and it's all your fault." Robin started to say. Marianne looked to him but found herself moving closer into her parents arms. "But you didn’t care when my family begged you to spare the young ones. You didn’t want to spare no one. You wanted to make sure there were no more heirs to challenge you. Guess what. You missed one. Me. Your worst nightmare." Robin then had waved over to Martin and Marianne watched as he approached them. She thought he was going to take her father away but instead, it was she who was grabbed. She screamed and cried for her mother and father. Her parents were pleading for her to be left alone and let go. Her mother was calling out for Alexa. This was good. Marianne could play as Alexa so long as it spared the REAL twin her life. But for how long was she going to be able to play this game?

Marianne was taken away kicking and screaming and crying to a room full of woman and her heart began to race. The door closed behind her and Marianne just stood there for a few moments. Frightened and shaken. Wondering what would become of her now.

Now it’s time to choose another otherwise it wouldn’t fair you’ve killed all my family and I’m the only one left. I might give the Queen to my solders and also every female member of your family, of course we already did away with one twin. Martin I live that task to you, you are still single take one of the female and to as you will, and tell Alex he to can take one. The rest send them out to the men, and you may have the Queen if you so choose, she still quite beautiful. The other twin will join her sister I wouldn’t want to split them up they’ve been together all these years.

Oh! I almost forgot his majesty the King. Take him up to the tour and let him see his two princesses hanging about on poles, you don’t wouldn’t mind if it’s just their heads would you? And after that impale him alive up on the tour so he can look upon his two princesses

Robin had everything pre-arranged that Mother and the twins were not to be touched. He just wanted him to suffer till his last breath, and he also made sure the Queen and the twins couldn’t see how the king died. Robin would have both his daughter as his chamber mates but not together,

The King and Queen were separated. The King was taken away to his prison and the Queen was taken away to be done with as the men pleased to do with a beautiful woman. In the meantime, Marianne sat in the room filled with the other woman. Her mind was racing about Alexa. She was staying with lady friends in the neighboring kingdom but only for three days. And three days would pass quickly here in what was now her prison though it was once her home. Guards came into the room and Marianne scrambled to hide, but the grabbed her around the waist and brought her struggling back to the throne room. Once there, she was dropped roughly to the ground. Her ruby studded circlet nearly falling from her crown as she landed roughly. Sitting up, she looked at Robin with a deadly glare. "What do YOU want?" She asks. Looking around the throne room. She didn't know that she was brought back here to get her sentence handed out to her. Marianne, presenting herself as Alexa, was about to learn her fate.

Robin was sitting on throne when they brought the other twin. He barely looked at her as he was busy talking with Alex. Mostly it was to intentionally ignore her for a while. Even after she went flying and landed on her ass he didn’t look at her.

"What do YOU want?" she said, but he kept talking with Alex and without looking at her. “You do well to remember your place before you face the same faith as your other family members; of course she had no way of knowing that only her father and all men in her family shared the same faith.
“Alex see that she dies next to her sister.”

"And you will do well to remember your place solider!"
“Alex see that she dies next to her sister.” Marianne pushed Alex away from her as she got up to her feet and looked to at Robin.
"How stupid do you think I am?! My sister isn't here! She's not even in the kingdom anymore!" She said. Her heart was racing but somewhere in the back of her mind she surrender herself to the thought of death. It was better than having to live in hell. But the thought of dying still frightened her. "What have you done with my family?!"

[Fillor]

"And you will do well to remember your place solider!" she said.
Robin burst out laughing very loudly and no matter how hard Alex tried not to, he to burst out laughing. “Sorry Alex said” Robin just waved his hand.

I guess you didn’t get the latest news yet Princess, although I don’t know why I’m calling you Princess. You father the king had an accident and I was elected to take his place. Sorry about that but thing do happen sometime and one must live with it.
