Investigator’s notes: Very little is known about the individual named Xavier, known by this department and by an increasing number of informants across the country as “Loki,” a name given for evidence left at numerous crime scenes. When first discovered, the evidence in question was mostly dismissed as doodling, but further investigation revealed the drawings to be a section of the Norwegian rune poem translated as “Birch has the greenest leaves of any shrub; Loki was fortunate in his deceit.” This evidence has since been classified as this individual’s calling card and all crime scenes where this evidence is found are to be immediately transferred to this department for further investigation.

First crime scene where “Loki” evidence was found was an estate in northern Mexico where several leaders of the powerful and violent Los Mensajeros drug cartel were found dead. Initial reports by the Mexican authorities claimed that the leaders had succumb to infighting and killed each other. This investigator does not doubt the accuracy of the Mexican investigation, but after learning of the presence of the “Loki” calling card, suspects that “Loki” had a hand in what had happened there. Further investigation into the cartel has revealed most of its financial assets to have simply vanished, for a lack of a better word, while physical assets have been seized by authorities or taken by rival cartels.

This investigator would suspect “Loki” to be a member of a rival cartel if not for other crime scenes across the country not related to cartel activity where the “Loki” evidence has been found. Also, an alarming number of informants are talking about this “Loki” individual, and while these informants give widely varying descriptions, there is no doubt that they are talking about the same person, due to several commonalities: the name Xavier, the “Loki” evidence, and a slight Hispanic accent. No fingerprint or DNA records exist for this individual and no unidentified fingerprints have been found at related crime scenes, as well as any unidentified DNA or DNA evidence being inconclusive or not available.

While this individual appears to be involved in some way with numerous crime scenes across the country, there is insufficient evidence for a conviction, let alone an arrest, to be made.

Profile: Potentially extremely manipulative and charismatic. Could be having delusions of godhood, given the calling card referring to the Norse god, Loki.

As it stands right now, I'm planning on having Xavier not know who or what he really is, which means he's unaware of his powers. What powers he does have right now, he writes off as him simply being awesome. Once he gets rolling, though, things are gonna get interesting.

She was the over achiever, the valedictorian, the one bullied and taunted for her book smarts. Little does anyone know but her birth mother is Mnomosyne, the keeper of memory and mother of the Greek muses. She has inherited her mother’s sharp mind and it serves her well in remembering every little fact that comes her way. Firstly, a little info about me. This is my first time on this forum, I have RPed before but nothing of this caliber so I hope I can keep up with your standards.
I'm definitly interested in Greek and Norse mythology but I dont know masses about it but I'll try and keep up!

Appearance: Soft brown waves of hair frame a pretty young face. Large Auburn eyes shine with a gentle innocence. A sheer dress clings to her body, covering her in just the right places to be deemed acceptable, and a tiny gold spun amulet hanging loosely against the curves of her bosom.

History: For the majority of her life, Lexy's ancestry was kept from her. Knowing nothing of her birth, all she's ever remembered is the Monastery were she grew up. The priestesses were all very nice to her but never revealed anything and ofcourse she never came into contact with strangers, or men.
When she came of age, a chance meeting with a teenage boy led to the discovery of her as yet weak power. Finally defying her elders, Lexy snuck into the head office in the monastery and found documents detailing her desendance from the Goddess Aphrodite. A confrontation with the order led to her fleeing, to seek her own way, and maybe, find her destiny.

Aspect: The use of pheromones to influence the minds of men, and some women. Currently a weak power/only works on weak willed people.

If anyone wants to creates someone else that doesn't know their heritage they are welcome to create a second character. Otherwise I'll be creating a second character that doesn't know their heritage. Actually I will be creating one regardless.

Huh. I just noticed that we have 4 female characters and 2 male characters. If superman is still going to put up a character, and it's a guy, then we'll have 3 guys to 4 women. Someone's going to be the odd one out if any relationships do develop. In other stories I've been in, it's usually be more men than women, so this is a bit of an interesting reversal.

To oneiros, we're still waiting on one other person Tymeless says is going to put up a character, so I don't think we'll be able to fit you in. But don't take my word for it. Wait for Tymeless to give the final word.
