It's always been about race. While it's probable that Jesse and Al wouldn't be in town if it had been a 28 year old black we don't actually know that. We're guessing and if they didn't it would be a fucking shame because they should show up whenever something like this happens.

If we took the race out of it...like became blind....and looked only at the facts....we'd "judge" more accurately. As it is...Zimmerman was told he should not follow...he did anyway. He said he was beat to the ground..nose broken...vid shows otherwise.
He and the black kid....together, make up the majority...not the minority.... of current american population. So who is calling who out as having committed a racially motivated murder? As far as I understand....the kid hadn't committed any crime and is now dead.

Zimmerman is a security guard.
He made a call to 911 and was told not to follow.
He continued to follow.
He shot and killed a pedestrian.
He lied (as video shows he had no broken nose or facial injury after "being beaten face to sidewalk" ) about it being self defense.
Understand it now ?

There is no proof he lied. To the contrary the police report backs him up.

The collision occurred cuz Martin and Zimmerman acted on flawed assumptions about the motives of the other. Its easy to do. Many years ago I observed a man's hair on fire and jumped upon him to extinguish it. He believed it was an unprovoked attack and was unaware that his hair was burning.

Zimmerman did have some position as "gate keeper" for this community or he would not have been in the position to patrol the area. Simple googling can confirm this or not. It isn't the issue so makes no difference.
His defense is based on the fact that he shot and killed in, self defense.
His backup was that he was being beaten ... specifically his face was being bashed against the sidewalk....and that his nose was broken..... and so he shot and killed in defense of his life.
Video taken 30 minutes after being brought in to the police department shows NO evidence of blood on his shirt...no bloody skull....no injuries - (with the exception of a bump on his nose) to support his claim of being beaten.
He did call in and the recording shows us that he was asked "are you following him"...to his affirmative response, he was told " you don't have to do that. He did continue to do so.
They are not MY facts. The are the clear facts as have been presented to the public. His own defense attorney could not comment on the lack of physical evidence to support Zimmerman's defense of his life due to his being beaten.
The fact that the victim was a pedestrian holds validity because that was the furthest description anyone could give him.. He was not an intruder. He was not breaking and entering. He was not causing a public disturbance. The only thing he was doing ... was walking thru a neighborhood . He was a pedestrian.
Revision....if Zimmerman was not a "security guard" for this community.... it does hold weight in this case. If he was not in an guarding capacity...what was he doing stalking a pedestrian ?

Yes, he was a pedestrian. So was Zimmerman when he shot him. Does that make him innocent?
His profession is of no evidentuary value. It means no more than if he was a garbageman, but it sounds like you have something against security guards.
So he was told not to follow, it was a dispatcher and is not a lawful order. He had as much right to walk the streets as Trayvon.
Zimmerman was a pedestrian too, at the time. What the hell has this to do with anything?
How can you tell if some one has a broken nose from a grainy video. They said his nose was broken, not ripped off his face. I have trouble with what little I can see in the video but it has no evidentuary value either as to wether what he said happened truly happened.
Please learn a little about the law before you make statements like this. You will feel better when you do not get all torn up over things you were mistaken about.

He's not a security guard, he doesn't really hold any official position. There is a "neighborhood watch" that he's a part of but it's not an official position. I don't much care what's in the police report since it seems most likely that these were some cops who honestly didn't care what happened.
Obama didn't enflame anything, the flames were already there. Its a good thing he commented on the situation. He's supposed to comment on things happening in the country and the only thing devisive going on here is the Right being completely unwilling to abandon Zimmerman. This is one of those rare cases where the Right could collectively have shown themselves to be human beings and simply say it's unfortunate someone died, we don't think race caused this but we do think there should be a trial and Zimmerman should have been arrested.

I'll give you everyone of your statements but the last one. If it is not thought that Zimmerman comitted a crime then there should be no arrest or trial. That would just be window dressing and then people would say that it was a bogus trial. Zimmerman may have comitted a crime, but with what has been released, there is just as much evidence that he did not, as there has been that he did. When a case goes political like this, there is no way that everyone is going to be happy, or even satisfied.

When one person kills another person you arrest them. Period. There is no good reason not to arrest him. Sure you're innocent until proven guilty but when you take a life shouldn't we at least go through the formality of a trial. If he's innocent like he claims all he has to do is convince twelve people. Is it really, in your mind, too much to ask for a human life to be valued enough that we go through the song and dance routine simply for traditions sake?
