Paul Wirtman
33 5’10” 200lbs
Short dirty blond hair with sparkling blue eyes

Paul was a computer genius. Out of college he had joined with a friend from HS and they developed a social network computer system similar to face book. After years of hard work they finally got to a position where they could take their company public. Over night their net worth soared and soon there was talk of being bought out by a huge international computer networking concern.

Over the years Paul had worked so hard in developing his company that he had little time to date. When he did it seemed impossible to find a woman that suited him. In HS and college all he had done was lust after the hot girls knowing that he would never have a chance with them. Never was he able to get up the courage to ask a hot girl out on a date.

A week ago a business associate of his had told him about a cousin that was going to be in town for a short while and wanted to know if he would be interested in taking her out on a blind date. At first Paul had resisted but then decided what could he lose, she was only going to be in town for a short while so the chances of ever seeing her again were slim if the date went bad. So finally he agreed.

Paul had gotten her email address and they had chatted a couple of times the week before she was coming to town mostly about the weather and the plans of her trip. He had learned that her name was Adrian and that she had dark hair just past her shoulders. For some odd reason that is just about all he found out about her physically.

Adrian was staying in one of the largest downtown hotels so it was agreed that they would meet on the Friday night of her trip at the hotel bar at 7 pm. Paul knew that this particular bar was a very popular hangout for business types on a Friday. She told him that she would be wearing a red dress.

Finally Friday arrived and for some reason Paul was a bit nervous. This was the first blind date that he had ever been on. A lot of his buddies had been kidding him about the blind date from hell, stories of blind dates that they had been on that went terribly wrong. He tried to keep a positive mental attitude about the whole thing. Early evening he shaved and showered putting on his Axe cologne, the one that commercials said drove women wild. He put on his favorite light blue plaid shirt that matched his eyes perfectly with khaki pants. Since she was going to be wearing a dress he put on a navy blazer to be just a bit sharper dressed.

In plenty of time he headed out the door to be sure and be to the hotel before 7. With time to spare Paul arrived at the hotel and used the valet parking. Just as his car drove off his cell phone rang. It was his mother and she told him that his sister had been in a car accident and was being taken to the hospital. Apparently her injuries weren’t all that serious but serious enough to require hospital treatment.

He looked at his watch and saw that it was about 8 minutes until 7. Paul figured that he ought to at least go in and explain the situation to Adrian; he hated to have to call her and break their date over the phone. Then he would head for the hospital to be with his sister.

As he entered the lounge he immediately saw her sitting at the bar. Her hair was wavy reaching down to her shoulder blades and it was a shiny black the kind you would see in the ladies hair care ads on TV. He could see her face in the mirror from behind the bar, she was breath taking. Paul was certain that he had never met a more beautiful woman in his life. The red dress she wore was practically painted on. The dress had spaghetti straps and a deep plunging neckline that revealed an ample amount of cleavage. At this time he was so wishing that he didn’t have to cancel their date but he had to go to be with his sister.

Paul walked across the room and came up to her and put his hand on her bare shoulder saying, “Adrian, I’m Paul, you look gorgeous in that dress. I’m so sorry but just as I was walking in my mom called me and told me that my sister was being taken to the hospital from a car accident. I hate to break our date but I really must go to see her.” When she turned that is when he got a look at her sparkling emerald green eyes and for a brief moment he went speechless.

He stammered before he could continue, “Um ah well I ah I have to run here is my card. My cell phone is on it. If you would like you could call me later. I’m so sorry that I have to run.” Paul turned and headed out before she had time to say a word. He failed to notice as he was leaving the front door another woman wearing a red dress coming in the side entrance. Adrian walked to the bar and sat down on a stool three down from another woman in a red dress wondering how Paul would know which one was her.

Sitting there looking at Paul oddly taking the card, she sat there speechless. Rose looked at the card and put it away for the time being. Her friends had finally arrived and she got lost in the night. Without a thought the card nor the thought of Paul came back up.

---

Adrian was going on her first blind date after so many years of being by herself. If it wasn't for her brother, she wouldn't be here. In a strange city, at a strange bar, meeting a stranger all in one night. She would kill him if it didn't work out.

Passing Paul as she entered the bar, walked in and took a bar stool. Her long hair neatly brushed, she swept it to one side. After a few drinks she figured she was stood up. 'What a jerk! I got stood up!'

---

Rose went up to the bar and ordered herself another drink. Hearing Adrian's comment, she invited to have a drink with her and her friends.

The next day, she found Rose sleeping on the couch, the brother playing on the computer and Adrian in a spear bedroom. At least I knew they were safe. Cleaning and changing purses, I ran into his card again. Hmmm Maybe I can I can have fun with this. Picking up the phone she dials Paul. "Hello, Paul?"

Paul had rushed to the hospital and by the time he was able to find her room the rest of the family had already arrived. His parents and older sister were there carrying on a lively conversation with his other sister who was lying in the hospital bed. He was relieved to hear that she was doing well and that the doctor only wanted to keep her over night for observation.

He hung around for a while then finally saying good night headed back to his place. As he was climbing in his car he remembered his blind date with Adrian. Paul checked his phone to see if he had had any calls while it had been shut off in the hospital. There were no missed calls or voice mails. He figured that she had just decided not to call him back after being stood up for their date.

The next morning Paul got up, shaved and showered and thought about Adrian from the night before. He could still picture her in that amazing red dress, her wavy black hair that just made you want to run your fingers through it and those emerald green eyes that would be so easy to get lost in. He decided that the only decent thing to do would be to call her at the hotel and apologize once more for breaking their date and maybe to see if she wasn’t busy today they could go out and see some of the sights.

He dialed the hotel and asked for Adrian’s room. Once connected the phone rang 6 times then it went to a voice mail system. Paul figured that she might be in the shower or possibly had gone out for breakfast. So he decided to leave a message, “Adrian, this is Paul. I wanted to call and apologize again for leaving you there at the bar all along. I got to the hospital and my sister was doing ok. She will only have to spend just the one night in the hospital. I was wondering if you weren’t too angry with me if you would like a guided tour of the city from someone that has lived here all his life? If you have any interest you can call me on my cell number that is on my card. Hope you can forgive me for last night. Good by.”

Paul went out to get the morning paper then sat down to read it with a large glass of orange juice for his breakfast. He had just started to read about the latest scores of the NCAA basketball tournament when his cell phone rang. He didn’t recognize the number so he flipped his phone open and said, “Hello?” There was a soft female voice that responded, “Hello Paul?”

Paul didn't recognize the voice and the first thing that came to mind maybe this was Adrian calling him back. His breath caught for a moment. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if it was and she was interested in the guided tour he had offered her? The thought of spending the day with such a beautiful woman got his heart pounding. “Yes this is Paul, who is this?”

“Hi Paul this is Rose. The woman you gave your card to last night while we were at the Howl at the Moon club. How is your sister?” with a pepped voice.

There was an awkward pause on the phone. Something Rose was shocked at since he was the one that approached her. The stuttering response told it all. Trying not to act disappointed, she continued on with the conversation after he informed her that the sister was doing well.

“I’m glad to hear that. I will say you had me speechless last night when you approached me. I have never been approached that way before and it seemed like you were an alright guy. How would you like to maybe meet up for coffee today?”

She sat there and listened as the conversation continued, playing with her cup. It was odd for her to call anyone back after being picked up at the local watering hole. Normally she would have thrown the card away, but something stopped her.

---
Adrian awoke to a female whimsical laugh. When she actually got her bearings, she remembered that she wasn’t in her hotel room.

“Shit, I’m doing the walk of shame.”

There wasn’t much that she had. Checking her phone for any missed calls or emails, she remembered how Paul stood her up last night. Angrily she went to the app for her email and responded sarcastically to the last email Paul wrote.

“I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful time last night. It was delightful to sit at the bar for the entire night without any company. It was only until someone over heard me and had me join their party right before I left. I will be still in the city for another 4 days if you want to try again. But It will take great consideration in order for me to go back out again.
~Adrian”

Before reading the email as she normally done, she sent it raw. Under regular circumstances, she would have re-read the email several times over. However today she didn’t care. She was in a strange city, in a semi-strangers house after being stood up to a guy that she thought was finally decent. Only to be proven wrong in the long run.

Gathering her things, she walked into the bathroom to wash up so she may go home.
---
Rose heard Adrian get up and close the bathroom door.

“Well I look forward to see you soon then. I have to drop off someone and then can be there. Ciao.”

Hitting end and tossing her phone into her purse, she got up and knocked on the bathroom door.

“Adrian, there are towels under the sink and if you need some extra clothes, I think mine will fit you. I will lay them on the bed and you can get them when you are done. Don’t worry about anyone here. My brother is in his dungeon with his computer game. ”

When Adrian answered her, Rose went into the bedroom and grabbed some clothes. Setting them on the bed, then returning to the couch in the living room.

“Yes this is Paul. Who is this?” “Hi Paul this is Rose. The woman you gave your card to last night while we were at the Howl at the Moon club. How is your sister?” He was confused she said her name was Rose but he had given his card to Adrian or so he thought.

“Well Rose apparently I made a rather embarrassing mistake. I was supposed to meet a woman named Adrian there last night for a blind date. She was to be wearing a red dress. In my hurry to get to the hospital to see my sister, I guess I never gave you the opportunity to tell me who you were.” Paul was amazed here was an incredibly beautiful woman that he had only met for the briefest of moments and totally by accident as it were and she was asking him if he would like to meet her for coffee.

“I would love to meet you for coffee. It would give me a chance to let you know how sorry I am for my odd behavior last night. There is a nice small coffee shop in mid town on about 20th St. I believe called the Coffee Bean how about we meet there in about an hour?” Rose indicated that she would see him there.

Paul hung up and wondered how this could have happened. He had to stop and think whether he believed in fate or had this been some random out of the blue happenstance.

Before heading out to meet up with Rose he logged on to his computer to check his email. There was one just posted a few minutes ago by Adrian, “I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful time last night. It was delightful to sit at the bar for the entire night without any company. It was only until someone over heard me and had me join their party right before I left. I will be still in the city for another 4 days if you want to try again. But it will take great consideration in order for me to go back out again.”

Well she obviously hadn’t been back to her hotel room to get his message. He felt terrible about what had happened. But now the dilemma he was meeting Rose that by rights ought to be Adrian he was meeting if he hadn’t made the colossal mistake that he had. Paul was sure that there hadn’t been another woman in the bar wearing a red dress but maybe he had missed seeing her in his haste.

He clicked replay and began to write out a return email. “Adrian I want to apologize again for last night. Apparently you haven’t been back to your hotel room to hear the message that I left you this morning. You aren’t aware of the mistake that I made last night. In a hurry because my sister was headed to the hospital I approached a woman wearing a red dress thinking it was you. I apologized and left my card and asked ‘you’ to call me. If you can forgive me I would like to make it up to you and maybe take you out to show you the sights if you have time available. Let me know if you are interested and I will understand if you don’t want to have anything to do with me.” He clicked the send button.

He went and brushed his teeth, grabbed his car keys and headed out to meet with Rose all the while wondering what Adrian looked like since he had still not gotten to meet her in person. Paul arrived at the Coffee Bean before Rose did. He got a cup of coffee and sat down at a table with a good view of the door. He knew that he would recognize the woman from last night even without the red dress. His heart was pounding, never had he been in such a situation.

Adrian finished with the shower and wrapped herself tight with the towel. Gathering up the clothes from the bathroom, she head back to the room she was staying in. It was nice not being alone in the city, but found it odd that people she just met would be so generous. She guessed that Rose felt bad for her last night after being stood up.

When she shut the door, she saw that her phone had alerted her of a new email and a message from her brother. Not wanting to bother with her brother’s nosy text, she read the email first. Trying to remember who else in the place was wearing a red dress, she went to respond.

“No I haven’t been back to my hotel yet. The people I met offered me a place to crash since I didn’t remember where my hotel was. Since it is day light I will head back to my hotel now. If you are serious about wanting to meet, you may pick me up from the Westin on 19th. My number is 727-555-1646. Contact me when you get there and I will meet you in the lobby.
~Adrian”

Adrian was sure this was a mistake but she wanted to give the guy a chance. Even if it seemed like he was a lost cause. Once she finished dressing, she smoothed down her clothes and pulled up her hair. If I didn’t know better I would think Rose was my twin sister.

---

Constantly looking at her watch, she didn’t want to leave Adrian with her dumb brother. 30 minutes later, Adrian came out of the room thanking her for her hospitality.

“It’s not a problem. We have all been there in one moment or another. I’m just glad no other idiot came by and used it to their advantage.”

Smiling I knew this was possible but highly doubtful in our area. The worst crime being Ms. Malone’s cat being up the oak tree. Yet there was this dude who was standing people up and that normally isn’t a good thing.

“So what are your plans for today? Doing anything exciting?” Rose asked inquisitively.

Adrian hesitated then answered. “The guy from last night emailed me and asked for another chance because of his sister being in the hospital. I told him to meet me at the hotel later today if he was serious. But I have to get some work done before he arrives.”

“I can drop you off at the hotel. Wait….. what was that guy’s name?” Rose remembering Paul saying his sister was in the hospital. This couldn’t possibly be?

“Paul. Why?” Adrian responded.

Rose sat back with a smirk, She realized that the card wasn’t for her it was for Adrian. Now she’s in a predicament. She could tell Adrian everything and let the guy go or have some fun with it. She decided to go with the flow and explain to Adrian that he didn’t stand her up. Adrian took everything with stride. Now knowing he was speaking the truth, she actually felt relieved.

“Rose, we do look sort of alike. What time is your meeting with him?”

“In about 20 minutes why?” Rose tilting her head in question.

“I have an idea.” Adrian gave the details of her plan to Rose. It was a fabulous idea and hoped that he wouldn’t be too angry with it. Though he would be the one benefiting from it.

---

Rose dropped Adrian off at the hotel and proceeded to the coffee shop. Upon entering it she saw Paul sitting there with his cup of coffee. He stood up when he saw her and gave her a pleasant kiss on the cheek.

Paul had gotten to the coffee shop in record time knowing that it would be a while before Rose got there. While waiting he checked his email and found that Adrian had responded to his email of apology for the mix up. He clicked to open the email and it read, “No I haven’t been back to my hotel yet.
~Adrian”

He was encouraged that Adrian was still interested in meeting him. So he jotted down her number and closed the email. Thinking how in the world he had ended up with two women from one blind date and he still hadn’t even met his blind date face to face. Paul started to think back if he had seen any other woman there in a red dress and couldn’t remember that he had. All he could remember was that the woman, Rose who he thought was Adrian, was a real beauty. Her hair had been as shiny and black as obsidian, a metamorphic rock. Her eyes were like sparkling emeralds.

It hadn’t been long that he had been here sipping on his cup of coffee when Rose came through the door. Paul stood and leaned over to give her a light kiss on the cheek saying, “Good morning Rose. Can I get you something to drink?” He pulled out a chair for her and let her sit down. “I have to say that I’m just a bit embarrassed about last night. I really was there to meet a woman for a blind date. All I knew was that her name was Adrian and she would be wearing a red dress. Who would ever think that there could be two single women both wearing a red dress in that bar. Oh and I have to say you looked like a million bucks in that dress. From what I could see it showed off your incredible figure perfectly. By chance do you remember seeing a woman come in after I left wearing a red dress? If you did she was probably my blind date.”

Blushing at his comments; “Thanks. I can’t say that I did. But then again I was with a lot of friends that evening and don’t remember what people were wearing. I was there to have fun and enjoy the evening after a long day at work.

Though there was a lady saying that she was stood up. Maybe she’s your mystery woman? Would you rather be with her instead of me now?”

Eying him cautiously to see what he would say, she sat back in the chair crossing her legs. It was a move that she had perfected over time to show off her long toned legs. The skirt she wore rose up high on her thigh leaving very little to the imagination. Leaning forward Rose picked up the cup of coffee, pressing her chest into the blouse. When she did this, more of her cleavage showed revealing her perky large orbs. The skin reflecting a beautiful cream silky color against the navy blue, Paul couldn’t help to stare.

---

Adrian in the meantime wasn’t that far off. She was getting ready for Paul’s arrival. What he didn’t know is that on their date, Rose would be joining them. Adrian felt really comfortable with Rose after the night before, so comfortable that she liked the fact that Rose wasn’t going to be far. Happy to be in her own clothes now, she sat on the edge of the bed flipping through the tv. Brushing through her long black hair with her fingers, she felt aroused with the thrill that was about to happen.

Rose was wearing a short skirt that rode up slightly when she sat down. She had left the top three buttons on her navy blouse unbuttoned allowing a nice view of an ample cleavage. Paul ordered a coffee from the barista and smiled as Rose thanked him for his complement. She also indicated that she didn’t remember another woman in a red dress.

Rose locked her eyes onto his and said, “Though there was a lady saying that she was stood up. Maybe she’s your mystery woman? Would you rather be with her instead of me now?” Keeping her eyes on his she leaned back and slowly crossed her legs letting her short skirt ride up even higher on her thighs. Paul swallowed hard convinced that she was intentionally trying to get him flustered. Well it was working. “I can tell you that I would much rather be with you than her. I don’t know anything about her other than her name was Adrian. I just don’t like being the kind of guy that ditches out on a blind date with no consideration for her feelings. I must tell you that she emailed me back and is willing to try again.”

When Rose leaned forward to take a sip of her coffee her blouse opened up a bit more and revealed even more of her beautiful cream colored breasts. He hated to stare but she was making it very difficult not to. Finally lifting his eyes to hers he said, “Adrian is in town for just a short time and more than likely I won’t ever see her again. However, you on the other hand I’m hoping live here in town and maybe there might be another chance that we could go out sometime.” Paul lifted his coffee taking a sip while studying her reaction.

Arching a perfect brow, Rose sat there with a sly smile. Both hands holding the coffee mug close to her perfect plump lips. Tapping it with the index finger, a small sip was taken. She already knew what awaited Paul later tonight, yet she was enjoying herself immensely.

"Well you are in luck. I do live on the other side of town, yet work in this area. What do you think of that information? I mean, there are plenty of people that would take your comment of seeing the other person as an insult. For me," chuckling low; "I see it as a challenge."

This was one thing about Rose, she never saw anything that couldn't be obtained and didn't mind a challenge here and there. Though the challenge was to see how receptive Paul will be later tonight during the exchange.

"So, Tell me about yourself Paul. Besides that you like blind dates."

Paul stared into her emerald green eyes getting the distinct feeling that there was something devious whirling around in her head. He laid his hand on her bare thigh just above her knee and with a smile said, “Rose, I in no way meant to insult you. I just don’t feel like being the kind of guy that would blow off even a blind date for what ever the reason. It just so happens that by fate or what ever you choose to call it we did meet, live in the same town and apparently are both single and available. So I am very interested in getting to know you a whole lot more."

He slid his hand just slightly higher on her thigh and with a curious look he said, “Your comment about seeing it as a challenge makes me wonder if you know something I don’t. Maybe you did actually see the woman that I was supposed to have a blind date with. I can’t imagine that she could possibly be more beautiful than you or her body could be as incredible as yours. Don’t get me wrong I think it is an admirable quality that you don’t back down from a challenge.”

He lifted his hand from her thigh and took hold of his coffee and lifted it to his lips for a sip. There was something about this woman sitting in front of him, something that he just couldn’t put his finger on. It was like she had some deep dark secret and was playing with him. This just made him want to learn more about her. Holding the cup near his lips he smiled and said, “Well I don’t know if I would go so far as to say I like blind dates as last night would have been my first. But then again take now for instance this by all rights is a blind date. So yeah I guess you could say that I like blind dates."

“I’m in computer networking and have spent the last few years working so hard on developing a company that I had very little time for dating. Finally a co worker convinced me to go out on a blind date with his cousin while she was in town for a short while. And this is where I ended up, pretty cool huh.”

Paul brought the cup of coffee back up to his lips and he very slowly tipped the cup for a sip as his eyes locked onto hers. “The business that I have has been fairly successful and soon if all goes well it will be sold out to a very large international concern and I will have lots of extra time for the more pleasurable things in life such as dating a beautiful woman. Which brings up the question when after I complete my blind date with Adrian later today would you like to go on a second date and if so what’s your pleasure?”

Rose kept her eyes locked on his, yet could feel his hand creep up higher on her thigh. She was curious how far he would advance in the one meeting. When the tip of his finger reached the hem of the skirt, she dropped her hand over his. Getting the hint, he pulled away and picked up his coffee again. The hand raising again to the coffee mug she was holding; a sly smirk turned her lips upward. “Maybe I have, Maybe I haven’t. Though that is something that you will never know or will you. I’m sure that you don’t want to keep Adrian waiting though if your date is with her tonight.” She thought a bit more before continuing.

“So let me get this straight. You met me for coffee and then have another date this afternoon with her and then want to go out tonight again? Is that what you are applying Paul? You are quite a ladies man.”

Slightly laughing at the stammering of his words, Rose was having fun with this. This was the most fun she had with any male in a while. Her thoughts went back to his electrifying touch that caressed her thigh. Tapping the elongated index finger on the coffee cup, she awaited his answer. In real sense she really didn’t care. Rose knew what was planned this afternoon when he and Adrian met up.

“So should I let you go for your date tonight with Adrian? We could meet up another time. I’m not planning to leave any time soon.”

“So let me get this straight. You met me for coffee and then have another date this afternoon with her and then want to go out tonight again?” Paul had a sheepish look on his face and his eyes didn’t make full contact with hers, “well when you say it that way it makes me look like a player. Sitting here with you now makes me want to just call Adrian up and cancel out on her because I would much rather be with you. But honestly that just doesn’t seem quite right to me. I feel like it is the honorable thing to do, follow through with the original blind date.”

He changed hands with his coffee mug and took another sip while he laid his hand back down on her knee his fingers well below the hem of her skirt. “Besides, I cant believe that Adrian could be as beautiful and intriguing as you are. Plus she is leaving town in a few days and I will most likely never see her again.” Paul’s finger tips drew small circles on the bare skin of her thigh.

He leaned over closer to where she was sitting and in a whisper said, “what would you say to a date later tonight, possibly drinks and maybe dancing? I think that we definitely need to spend more time together to get to know one another much better. Or maybe you have other plans?”

He slid his hand so very slowly up her thigh until his fingertips once again made contact with the hem of her shirt. There he stopped and as he very gently caressed her thigh he ever so slightly nudged the material of her skirt. With a sexy grin he looked into her sparkling emerald green eyes looking for her response.

Tilting my head to the side a bit, I lean forward to set down the coffee cup. Brushing my breasts against his hand, I sat back up. "Dinner, Dancing sounds fantastic. However, don't you think you should wait on see how things go with Adrian? I'm sure she's beautiful in her own way and you might get lucky with her instead of having to work on me."

Just toying with the idea, I shift my legs and cross them the other direction. His hand still firmly placed on my thigh. Smiling when I captured the tips of his fingers between my skin. Tightening my thigh muscles, glaring into his eyes. He was getting bolder with each minute passing by.

"I should let you go now. I will have to take a rain check for tonight. I do have other... pressing issues to deal with." giving a curt nod and relaxing my legs.
"Once you come back, you know how to reach me. You never know, my calendar might clear."

Moving to grab my purse, I stand with his hand still on my thigh.

Paul was becoming a bit confused. She was subtly flirting with him as she brushed her breast against his hand or so it seemed. While at the same time suggesting that maybe he ought to wait and see what happened with Adrian when she said, “I'm sure she's beautiful in her own way and you might get lucky with her instead of having to work on me."

He smiled and with his hand still gently caressing her thigh he said, “and just exactly what do you mean ‘having to work on you?’” Then she shifted in her seat uncrossing her legs crossing them in the other direction. As she did this the fingertips of his hand resting on her thigh were trapped between her thighs. Paul could feel Rose squeezing his fingers by tightening her thigh muscles and her eyes glared at his. He got the distinct impression that she was toying with him for some reason.

Then in the next instance she was relaxing her thighs letting him slip his fingers out from between them dismissing him by saying, “I will have to take a rain check for tonight. I do have other... pressing issues to deal with." She did then suggest that he might call her after his date with Adrian. The question was did she mean immediately after his date or later as in a day or two. There was something about Rose that made her difficult to read she seemed very mysterious.

It was then that she picked up her purse and stood to go. Paul quickly got out of his chair standing close to her his hand coming off of her thigh ending up on her side just above her waist. In this position he was just able to keep her close. He leaned in to where his mouth was just next to her ear and whispered, “Rose I would very much like to call you and I would hope that we could go out for some drinks and dancing sometime. I would very much like to get to know you much better. Until then.” He kissed her cheek and stood up sliding his hand down over her hip until it was hanging at his side.

"I'm sure you will see me before you realize." returning the kiss on the cheek smiling. "Til then I look forward to hear from you soon."

With a quick wink, I let my fingers linger over his muscular abs as I depart the area. There was something that drove men nuts when I did that. I loved every moment of it too. Letting the hips sway a little extra, I exited the coffee shop and took out my phone. Texting Adrian, I let her know that it's her turn.

"He's all yours. Ladies man, Should be fun. I will see you when you call. I won't be far away."

Hitting send, I felt a little smug smirk come about and accomplished on this ladies man.

~~~
Adrian heard her cel phone from Rose's text. This was it. She was going to meet the man that stood her up last night and Rose rescued. If it wasn't for her, she would have drank herself silly and probably end up somewhere that wouldn't have been as safe.
Fixing her outfit once again, she awaited for Paul's call. It wouldn't be long since she knows that Rose was done with him.... At least for now.
Rose returned his kiss on the cheek and with a smile said, “I’m sure you will see me before you realize.” Then she gave him a provocative wink while slowly dragging her fingers over his toned abs. He watched as she walked out of the coffee shop with what appeared to be a little extra sway to her hips.
Paul stood there for a moment mesmerized by what had just occurred. It seemed that Rose had been intensely flirting with him in her words and actions. He was trying to think about just what she had meant when she said that she would be seeing him before he realized. It was almost as if she already had a plan to see him again but how?
By the time he laid down a tip and headed out of the coffee shop Rose was gone. He couldn’t get his mind off of her. He had her number and a very fond memory of their first meeting but now he had to focus and call Adrian and meet up with her. Paul didn’t want to be accused of blowing her off by his coworker that had set them up.
Standing on the sidewalk in front of the coffee shop Paul pulled out his cell phone and dialed the number that he had for Adrian. It rang three times then a soft voice answered, “Hello.” “Hello Adrian? This is Paul I was wondering if you were interested in going out on our date after the fiasco of last night. Who would ever have thought that there would be two single women at the bar last night wearing a red dress. The woman that I called Adrian and gave my card to before rushing out to get to the hospital to see my sister must have thought that I was a complete crazy. I really do feel bad about leaving you stranded like and hope that you would let me make it up to you.”
"Make it up to me? Sure. I really haven't been anywhere yet in the city." Adrian sat on the bed responding to the phone call. She sat tracing the pattern on the bedspread as she spoke. "How about meeting me at my hotel lobby. I will be the one in the blue dress today."
Chuckling on the phone, Paul agreed and told her that he would be there in 15 minutes. Hanging up the cel, she texted Rose letting her know that everything was in place. It was Adrian's chore to get them to go to the same bar as they were suppose to meet the night before. She didn't think it would be that hard if he was trying to make it up to her.
Traveling down to the lobby, she awaited Paul's arrival at the little restaurant bar. With the low cut dress, Adrian already had a few eyes set on her. One of them brave enough to strike up a conversation while she waited. Once Paul walked in, she excused herself and turned around to face him eye to eye. Giving a hinted smile, she stood up and extended her hand in front of him. "Paul I assume. I'm Adrian. It's nice to meet you."
"How about meeting me in my hotel lobby. I will be the one in the blue dress today." Paul chuckled, knowing exactly that she was referring to the night before with the fiasco of the red dress. “I will be there and if I have to accost every woman in a blue dress I won’t stop till I find you.” He chuckled again and said, “well accost might not be the best choice of words but I hope you got my effort at attempting to make a little joke. I’ll be there shortly and I do look forward to meeting you."
As he drove over to the hotel to meet Adrian for the first time his mind wandered to Rose and the way that she had been flirting with him at the coffee shop. That was one woman that he was looking forward to getting to know much better. Then he started to wonder what Adrian would look like. He still had not a clue.
Paul got to the hotel, parked his car and walked into the lobby. He stepped into the small restaurant bar off to the side and glanced over the crowd. There was a woman wearing a blue dress sitting at the bar with her back toward him. As he made his way over to where she sat she turned and their eyes locked. With a smile she extended her hand and said, “Paul I assume? I’m Adrian. It’s nice to meet you.”
In a brief moment he was taken aback thinking that this was Rose standing in front of him. Adrian was a very beautiful woman and could very easily pass for Rose’s sister they looked so much alike. Paul extended his hand and took hold of hers smiling saying, “Adrian it is a pleasure to finally get to meet you. I really am sorry about last night. I was in such a hurry to get to the hospital I made a complete fool of myself.”
He struggled to keep his eyes on hers as opposed to just a bit lower to her magnificent breasts displayed very nicely in a low cut dress. This woman was a knock out and the dress she was wearing did everything to show off her curves. Paul held her hand in his longer than what might have been considered appropriate and before letting go he leaned in and gave her a peck on the cheek. “Would you like to get a table here and have a drink or would you rather go some place else?”
Tilting my head the same way that Rose did, she smiled and responded. “Let’s get out of here. I believe I have had enough of this place already.”
Picking up her purse, she took Paul’s arm as he guided her out of the hotel. Walking right by Rose, Adrian winked and swayed her hips a little more for the gentleman that she left behind at the bar. When they left the bar, Paul opened his car door and held it open. She got in and pulled on her dress to what Paul thought down, however it was that she was pulling it up further.
Paul got into the driver’s side and took her to a nice restaurant. Adrian was impressed, but not over joyed like her sibling said she would be. They talked about everything imaginable and found a few things that the both of them had the same views on. Though the worst she thought of was that she met some new people and it wasn’t a waste of time.
“So how is it that you are alone and not attached to someone already? I mean are there any prospects that you might be interested in?” probing to see if he would give me information about Rose.
Adrian said, “Let’s get out of here. I believe I have had enough of this place already.” She took his arm as he escorted her out of the bar and through the lobby. Once outside Paul gave the valet his parking ticket and he was off to get the car.
While waiting for the car Paul turned to Adrian and said, “I have to tell you that the woman in a red dress that I thought was you last night could just about pass for your sister. You both have the same color hair and body and you are both very beautiful. It is truly quite bizarre.” The car pulled up and he held the door for Adrian.
As she sat down in the seat it appeared that she was pulling her dress down but when Paul got in the driver seat and looked over he realized just the opposite. She had actually pulled her dress up revealing quite a bit of bare thigh. As he drove off to the restaurant it was hard to keep his eyes on the road and not the incredible woman sitting next to him.
He took her to a very nice restaurant that had dim lights and candles on all the tables for a more romantic atmosphere. It was a very elegant place with linen table clothes and the wait staff all in black. During dinner they shared a lively conversation finding several things that they shared common views on. Finally Adrian asked him the question that he had dreaded, “So how is it that you are alone and not attached to someone already? I mean are there any prospects that you might be interested in?”
Paul thought hard about what he would say. He didn’t think that it would be very nice to tell her that the woman he was going out on a date with was the woman he met accidentally when he was suppose to be going out with her. “Well I dated some in college but I was always kind of the computer geek and kind of shy. After college I got involved in a start up computer business and never seem to find the time to date much. Now that the company has become somewhat successful I’ve kind of decided that maybe I ought to get more serious about the possibility of dating. You know this is the first blind date I have ever been on and I was very nervous to meet you.”
By now Paul was getting very comfortable talking with Adrian. “You know your cousin was the one that suggested that I take you out on a blind date since you were only going to be in town a short while. He never told me that you were so beautiful. Now I feel bad that you will be leaving and we wouldn’t have much of an opportunity to go on a second date.” Paul lowered his head and blushed a little saying, “that is assuming that you might want to go on a second date with me.”
He wants another date, yet I know Rose said that he was asking her out for another one. What a player! She thought disgustedly. Adrian sat there still in disbelief that he was saying this. Maybe it was a good thing that he stood me up and Rose is going to deal with him.
Trying not to let him see her disgust, she gave a warm and welcoming smile with a slight blush.
“Thank you for the compliment. But I am nothing of anything. You are probably too busy for a second date. I’m sure that your dance card is filled already.”; softly giggling.
That was one thing that Adrian knew how to do. Flatter them while semi-turning them down. Yet, she wasn’t really turning him down. Just wasn’t as thrilled of him being a player like he was. Here was a man if under a different circumstance probably was really a good guy. However right now, he was too big for his own britches. She chuckled to herself at the comment.
“What’s so funny?”; he asked inquisitively.
She didn’t realize how loud her laugh was when he asked. Quickly just stopped the laugh, she just smiled and answered. “No reason. Hey, why don’t we head over to the bar we were going to meet up? It should be fun.”
Paul kept a smile on his face as they talked casually getting to know one another better. Yet inside he was tied up in knots. Just two days ago he had little prospect for any kind of a date much less one with a beautiful woman and now by some bizarre twist of fate he was thinking about the possibility of dating two incredibly gorgeous women. This was a situation that he could have only dreamed of.
If he hadn’t been in rush last night he never would have met Rose and he would now be seriously considering how he could work out the dating a woman that didn’t live in the same town. But the fact of the matter was that he had met Rose and he was attracted to her and he was definitely looking forward to a second date with her. Paul wouldn’t be in this mess if he had just brushed off Adrian and never even met her.
With these thought churning around in his mind causing him a great deal of inner turmoil Adrian made a very strange comment that was followed by a soft giggle when she said, “You are probably too busy for a second date. I’m sure that your dance card is filled already.” This sure sounded like she already knew somehow that he was dating someone else. His immediate response an inquisitive, “What’s so funny?”
Adrian responded, “No reason. Hey, why don’t we head over to the bar we were going to meet up? It should be fun.” They had finished dinner so Paul paid the bill and they were out back in his car headed for the bar where they were to have met up the night before. As they pulled up at the bar he turned to Adrian and with a smile said, “how about you go in and find a seat at the bar and I will come in and we can get our first meeting right this time. I promise that I won’t run out on you this time.”
In a joyous laugh, she kissed Paul’s cheek and got out of the car. “Remember, I’m the one wearing the blue dress tonight.” Adrian said jokingly. Little did he know that Rose would be there as well in a very similar dress.
When Adrian walked into the bar, she found a small table in the back of the room. Rose saw her and nodded, giving the signal that everything would be alright. Paul walked in and didn’t stop for 30 seconds to check if the lady who sat in front of him was either Rose or Adrian. Rose looking onwards, he stopped and placed a hand on the small of the lady’s back.
“Good Evening. I do hope I didn’t make you wait too long.” Kissing her cheek.
“Of course not, but are you sure you were to find me?” Rose gave him a puzzling look.
She turned around to catch Paul’s eyes and giving a wink towards Rose. In a way she felt bad for the guy, in another way she didn’t. Here he was the one to never be on dates and now was on two. Making the same mistake as the night before.
“Now I know you wanted a second date. However I didn’t think you would do the same thing as the night before.” Rose laughed out.
They got out of the car and the valet pulled away from the curb. Just before heading into the bar Adrian kissed his cheek and with a laugh said, “Remember, I’m the one wearing a blue dress tonight.” Paul laughed at the joke and with a sparkle in his eye he said, “I really don’t think I could make the same mistake twice. Besides I know you are in there unless you ditch me and leave by the side door.” He waited just a short while outside before heading in to reenact what would have been their first meeting last night.
When the time was right he walked confidently into the bar and spied Adrian with his back to him sitting alone at the bar. She was showing an ample amount of thigh as she had failed to pull her dress down when she sat down. When he got next to her he placed his hand on her lower back and leaned over giving her a kiss on the cheek saying, “Good evening Adrian, I do hope I didn’t make you wait too long.”
As she turned around slowly to face him Rose said, “Of course not, but are you sure you were to find me?” When she had turned around fully his eyes widened and he gasped, “Adrian? I uh mean um Rose?” There is no way that he could make the same mistake twice. It was impossible that Rose would be in the exact same bar wearing the same colored dress two nights in a row.
Slowly a puzzled look came across his face as he turned to look around the bar. Sure enough his gaze fell upon Adrian sitting at a table near the back. She had a big grin on her face and gave him a slight nod. Paul snapped around back facing Rose and said, “why are you, how did you, um what is going on here?” That is when it hit him that somehow these two lovely ladies had met and knew each other and this was a set up.
A look of sadness crossed his face as he suddenly realized that yesterday he had no prospects for a date, earlier today he had two beautiful women to take out on a date and now surely he was back to none. Swallowing hard he waited as Adrian got up from the table and walked over to where Paul was standing beside Rose.
